Whatever floats your boat. -There's a nice outdoor area that you can chill on. -It's hot at the moment so the ducted air conditioning will be your friend. -The townhouse is located in a quiet area with plenty of on-street parking. -Convenient location! Buses on Ipswich road are located about 500m away. Woolworths, Coles, and Aldi are also about 1.5km away. If you're a UQ student, you can also catch the 104 or 105 to the Boggo Road Busway. We love our house! The best feature is the location, we are right across the road from the river where you can go for walks, bbqs, sunset watching. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to UQ and the house is only a 10 minute walk to Fairfield Gardens Shopping Centre which has Aldi, Coles, liquor stores, post office, library, Grill'd etc. There is a bus stop across the road that has frequent buses to the city, southbank and the valley or the train station is only a short walk away. We have a lovely big backyard with heaps of room for activities, a great deck with fairy lights for entertaining, hanging out or dining. There is only one bathroom but conveniently there is also a separate toilet so you're never left stranded. The house (except your room) is completely furnished. The available room is huge and airy and has a ceiling fan and inbuilt cupboards. There is an aircon in the room which if you would like to use might just mean paying a little more in electricity.

Fairfield station is 2 minutes walk and Coles, Aldi and other shops/ restaurant are 5mins walk. With woolworth and bus stop is 8-10 minutes walk, depending on how fast you walk :P There is hungry jacks, KFC. taco bell, subway and sushi place in the area. Which you can easily walk to. There is two gym close by. The apartment comes furnished, so you dont have to buy anything of your own. If you own a car, there is a car port too. There is an outdoor pool in the complex, and an underground carpark, with the space for one car. We are one minute walk from Fairfield Gardens shopping center, the train station and bus stop. UQ st lucia is 25min walk, or a 10min bicycle. QUT is 30min bus or 10min drive. It's only 20mins via train to the CBD.
Decent sized room in spacious light filled Queenslander. Room is unfurnished but has a good sized built in wardrobe. Bills come to around $16/week which are paid quarterly (except for internet which is monthly). Our house is a nice open recently renovated Queenslander with huge kitchen and nice open living space. House is in a great location close to Fairfield Gardens, bus stop and train station. Very easy to get around and 20 mins walk to UQ. Stays relatively cool in the summer (for a queenslander), fans in every room with a nice breeze over the deck. Lots of light and great to chill on the deck in the morning or afternoon. Awesome big kitchen which is great for keen cooks. We have a good storage area if you need to store things under the house and there is parking available on the street. Note: we are looking for someone who is expecting to stay for either: - long term: 6months with unfurnished room, or - short term: 9 weeks with furnished room (current house mate away) Room available immediately :-)
