We live in a big beautiful house overlooking Hyde Road Park. The house has 4 bedrooms and tons of common space. We have a pool, balcony, BBQ, fire pit, massive kitchen, washer/dryer, Netflix, and an awesome group of housemates. The house is in a great location, only a 10 min bike ride to UQ and super close to public transport. Several good cafes and grocery shops are within walking distance. The available room is the biggest bedroom in the house, located downstairs. It has its own private entry, lots of natural light, and tons of storage. Note that while the previous owner originally had this room set up as an office with kitchen, the stove/oven are non-functioning (we use it as storage). You will share a bathroom with 1 other housemate. Move-in date is flexible, as are furnishings. This house is a quirky old Queenslander with some seriously close benefits. Across the road from a LiquorLand and a cafe with Bonsoy (for you other vegans), a Thai takeaway and a sushi train. 1 minute walk from Fairfield Gardens with Coles and Snap Fitness. 3 minutes walk in one direction from the Fairfield train station, and 3 minutes walk in the other direction to the bus stop for the 196 that goes through West End and the Valley to New Farm Park. Half an hour walk to the UQ bridge, but the 196 stops right beside the bridge as well. If you like walking, you can walk along the Brisbane Corso from here too. The room itself is a little small, but it fits a bed, bedside, wardrobe and chest of drawers easily, and there is a long enclosed veranda all the way around the house that we have used as extended rooms for our desks etc. I have a couple of items of furniture I could leave for you if you wanted. There are two enclosed verandas which are unfurnished and can be used for storage or you could turn them into a study or something, whatever floats your boat. Maybe you have a ping pong table? Or like five sofas for some reason? Or a weird collection of troll dolls you need to store? (we don't judge!) No worries, bring them along cos we have plenty of space! We also have two gardens where you could grow veggies (we attempted a herb garden but have to admit we are newbies to gardening, RIP Basil.) This is the second year on our lease which ends late January but it will definitely get renewed if you are looking for longer. **Bedroom 2** $145/wk bills separate 3.4m x 3m, French doors onto enclosed veranda, comfortably fits queen bed, bedside tables, cupboard and desk. **Some other stuff** So that we can lodge bond with the RTA everyone should be an approved tenant, but you don't need to be on the lease unless you want. I have absolutely loved my time here in Annerley. The townhouse is beautiful and spacious as you can see in the photos. Its a 5 minute walk to Bus stops/Coles/Woollies/Fast Food/Gym and my favourite cafe Little Clive. It is just a 3 minute walk to Fairfield train station, which is really convenient for travel into the city. There is a park next door which my housemates and I go and shoot netball hoops. The undercover outdoor area is a lovely place to have dinner or just relax. The house is air-conditioned which is perfect for Summer being underway. We also have a dishwasher which works really well in a share house setting. We rotate use of the garage for parking, however there is street parking available. There are three toilets in the house, (1 downstairs and 2 upstairs). The main bedroom has a shared balcony off it too which we all use freely. I have uploaded the original photos of the house (as listed on realestate.com) as I have provided most of the house furniture which I will be taking with me. The girls are more than happy to replace furniture or welcome someone who already has furniture!

This is a SUBLET from 22nd November to the 8/9th January (dates can be flexible ish) as I am going home for xmas and need someone responsible and groovy to live in my lovely room until my return :) The bedroom available is a large room (3.8x3.6m) with a queen size bed (with a brand new super comfy Koala mattress), a desk, 2 windows, fantastic aircon, a view into the garden and plenty of storage. The place has aircon in the bedroom and the lounge area. It's right opposite fairfield station so it would be perfect for someone without a car. Fairfield hopping centre is super close (2 minute walk!) 3 bottle-o's within a 5 minute walk.. The house is super light with new fluffy carpets. There are two toilets and 2 living areas. The balcony has lots of plants and over looks the little garden I have planted with sunflowers(!). The living area opens out onto a little balcony and is quite spacious. The house has character and feels homely already. We have a massive TV with Netflix etc and also an Xbox (if you ask Josh nicely). We also have 2 fridges so a TONNE of fridge space.
