Hi! My name is Kalinda, and I'm moving from Townsville to Melbourne at the end of May. I'm 22, and I'm working part time in retail and I'll be studying Creative Arts at La Trobe. I've done the sharehouse thing for two years now, and have never had any issues paying rent and bills on time. I'd like to live somewhere close to public transport to La Trobe, but I will have my car with me so it's not too essential. I'm moving with my ragdoll/tortoiseshell cat Violet, who's house-trained and is very friendly with people and other animals. About me: I'm a creative person, and my specialty is writing; I hope to make a career out of it and will be working towards that when I arrive in Melbourne. I'm a friendly, happy person, and hope to be friends with my future housemates as well, as I only know a handful of people in Melbourne, therefore a friendly sharehouse would be preferable :) My interests outside writing include gaming (xbox and pc), watching sports, all other art forms (tv and movies, painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, etc), and exploring (trying new foods, live music, adventuring, festivals, etc.) If I sound like I could fit into your home, please shoot me a message (or if you're willing to team up to find a place, hit me up). I'm ready to move immediately, though it'll take me 3-4 days to drive to Melbourne (because of this, I won't be able to do an in-person interview, as I'll have nowhere to stay in Melbourne in the meantime, but feel free to chat to me on facebook, or I can get skype, etc.). I would love to be an addition to your household :)
Townhouse renovated four years ago close to everything, 2mins walk to rosanna station, 30mins to the CBD, parks, great cafes, La Trobe uni 10mins by car, doncaster and northland shopping center 15/20mins away. House has ducted heating, air con in bedrooms and living area, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Hi I'm matt, I'm 26 I work full time as a plumber by trade .I'm mindful and respectful of other people. I'm a very clean neat and tidy person. I'm easy going and pretty easy to get along with. I'd say I'm fairly open minded respectful and educated on political views religious beliefs and all that sort of stuff. I'm very upfront and honest. I can be quite social but also will keep to myself at times as I work long hours and my job can be quite stressful at times so I'll just come home and want to switch off for awhile but I'm also happy to share a meal or have a beer or wine every now and then aswell. Preferably after something with off street parking and own bathroom/ensuite. THANKS!
I'm a cheerful, easy-going 37 year old looking for similarly friendly and relaxed people , clean & tidy, social, friendly and respectful to live with. i work a lot six days a week i have a pet dog like going out to dinner moives keep to me self same time i like to have chat
Freshly renovated, our light filled and nature surrounded home is ideal for anyone who loves the outdoors and the north side of Melbourne. 5 minute walk to the station, 15 minutes drive to Fitzroy and Northcote, or 20 minutes to Brunswick. We are in a family suburb surrounded by parks, tree lined streets and a charming shopping village close by. $579/month for single or $434/month for couple (female only) non-inclusive of bills. The lease is for a further 6 months with the potential to sign again. The house has stunningly big windows and incredible courtyard and garden area, including heritage listed trees and two lawn areas. There are two bedroom spaces with their own bathrooms at either end of the house conjoined by the kitchen, dining and two lounge areas. This set up provides the sense of almost living without housemates as our sections are so divided. The amount of room (half a house!) allows utmost potential to make the space your own. Ideally we will find people who will make the most of having their own space but enjoy household socialisation over dinner or a tea. The room is available now but we will start interviewing next week.
I work full time and have steady income, like to keep to myself, I'm fairly quiet. Happy to help out with any chores or cleaning that needs to be done. I pay all bills on time or early. I've currently been living in Melbourne for over a year after finishing school and moving from the country to Melbourne to work. Would very much like to find a place to move into. Before 17/7/17. I'm a full time Mechanic at BMW, my love is cars and working on them. Happy to live with all people who would be happy to live with me. I'm quite busy outside of work so I'm not always at home. I'm looking for a place at $150pw without bills included.
Non Smoker, Extremely tidy. Very easy to get on with. I basically want somewhere secure to sleep, and other than sleeping on work nights (Mon - Fri), will not be in the accomodation much. I have my own bed and furniture for the room, but can also supply Fridge, Dryer and washing machine that are in my current rental at this present time. I'm sick of paying $1700 per month in dead rent and have decided to vacate my rental in June when the lease expires. I absolutely love pets, so there's no issue if someone has pets. Ideally I would prefer to share with one other person. I'm not a party animal and am very respectful of personal space. At this stage I'm seeking a room that has an en suite or private bathroom.
I am a respectful considerate easy to get along with person. I like to keep my place clean and I'm very houseproud. I like a little bit of socialising with my housemate but I do also like my space. And I am not a party person. I work for VicRoads where I have been working for the past 7 years. I do work part time, however it is permanent, Monday to Friday, 6 hours a day. I am a very honest person where what you see of me is what you get. I also have a very good sense of humour and love a laugh.
I'm looking for a comfy place with friendly people. I'm easy to be around and enjoy coffee drinking, being outdoors, yoga and having interesting conversations with my house mates. I work in the city and enjoy coming home to relax.
Easy going, quiet, tidy, laid back person. I like gaming, Basketball, Music. Originally from Heidelberg, starting a new chapter in life after breaking up with my partner of 15 years. I work in a Hospital in Heidelberg. I don't really know what else to say. I'm trying to figure out whether shared accommodation works for me, or if I'm better off getting my own place. Apparently this site wants an Essay about me, it is really annoying.

Hi! We're Shannon & Tim, and currently we live in a share house in Greensborough. Due to our lease ending and our third housemate moving interstate, we are looking to find new digs and a third housemate! A little about us, we're cousins for starters: My name is Shannon, I work full time in administration (for now) and I come with a dog- a gorgeous kelpie mix. Koda is really well behaved in the house, she's on our current lease and we have never had a problem. She is super friendly and loves other dogs, people and cats too (which is lucky as Tim has 2). I walk her daily and she's really well trained, and with her big golden brown eyes she easily wins people over. I've been living in share houses for about 5 years so I'm pretty respectful of others space. During the week I like to keep it quiet, but I think it's important to live with people who can have a chat or cook a meal, watch some TV etc. During winter I do enjoy footy season and home cooked meals, as well as checking out different pubs for live music so some evenings I'm not around. Overall I'm a pretty clean person, respectful of other peoples space and hopefully easy to live with. Tim also works full time in recruitment, he's been renting for years now and also happens to be my cousin! He comes with 2 cats, so any additions to the house may have to be of another variety (we don't want it to be crazy!). He's got a super dry & sassy sense of humour, is great at cleaning the kitchen and pretty much keeps to himself through the week. He's also really respectful of others space, and makes a mean chicken & slaw dish. So if you're interested in teaming up please hit us up!!
Hi I'm looking for a place to move I to around the middle of August around the 20th. I enjoy quiet time to my self a but will.be happy to sit around a fire and enjoy a drink and chat. I don't smoke but if you do that ok (if you do preferred if it is outside. I have a cat who I will wish to bring with me so please take that into consideration, especially if you have a dog. I love going to the movies of having a film night on the couch. Science fiction and fantasy are my favorite kind. I also love Dr Who. I enjoy going camping and hiking on a regular basis. I currently work full time in childcare. So want be home weekdays. I like to garden, but my skills is yet to be determined. I'm willing to share the chores around the house and will be happy to cook for the house hold once a week on a set night.
Hi there. I am impeccably reliable, honest and greatly respect a home that's not mine. I have a clean rental record, am NON-SMOKER. Love pets even though I don't have any of my own...sure happy to enjoy yours with you... I love family guy and SNL sketch comedy and at the moment am on a real fitness focus..I am a performer and entertainer by trade and work in and around melbourne. I'm looking for a home where i can balance private recharging time with some relaxed communal time...maybe a glass of red or a beer? Do you fancy a quiet drink or a laugh? Happy to consider options anywhere within half hour of the CBD. I greatly appreciate your offers - thank you!
I recently just got a graduate nursing position with Austin health which involves doing 8 shifts a fortnight and I would be around the house or visiting friends when I am not working. I have been living in share houses all through uni and I like to think I am an easy going person but I do like to keep things clean. I have been a vegetarian for years now but would be willing to cook meals with people. I have a beautiful dog called Bee who is a Border Collie, so I would prefer a house that has a backyard.
I'm currently studying a bachelor of science at La Trobe, from the south-east suburbs and wanting to move closer to uni or somewhere in the northern suburbs! Obsessed with travelling and eating copious amounts of food in one sitting while watching trashy reality tv shows.
Easy going, fun loving, avid book reader, can adjust with everything very easily. I'm a student at La Trobe studying master of Financial Analysis.
I have lived at my last place for 12 years as I always paid rent on time and treated my neighbours with consideration and respect. I have a life of my own and will not smother you. I am socialised and do not roll home drunk and be obnoxious and annoying. Reformed smoker but do not worry being around smokers and drink on a very occasional basis. No Drugs. I am virtually retired at 64 years and cover all my Centrelink obligations with volunteer work. i would like to stay in the listed areas as I have family at Heidelberg and friends at Blackburn and Knox and the public transport gets me to both, and my volunteer role, conveniently. Paying rent is the priority and understanding that you have to give people in a shared situation genuine consideration is next. Socialised, tidy and personable in a sharing situation. Excellent rental refererence from my previous 12 years of renting at Lower Plenty and personal references as well. Do not have pets/companions but would consider them a bonus if you do.
