I am a PhD student at La Trobe Uni, so looking to rent a room in a shared house near La Trobe, preferable within walking distance. I am a social person, tidy, clean after myself (and would expect the same of others) and very respectful of others. I would love to share a chat, meal and a beer, but I do not consider myself a party person nor I am looking for a party house.
Located in Rosanna, 15 minute walk to La Trobe Uni, 10 minute walk to Rosanna Station, bus stop just outside the front door and lots of cafes and eateries, IGA, post office, 24 hour gym and shops within walking distance. Plenty of living space both indoors and outdoors. The room pictured currently has a queen bed in it, that can stay or be stored. The house is fully furnished though there is storage room if needed. House is in great condition and includes car parking on premise with additional street parking. It is a shared bathroom and a separate toilet. There is ducted heating throughout and cooling in the living areas. All bills apart from internet are included in the weekly rent. Internet will be split evenly. I am after working housemates, either a single or couple, $50 extra for couples to include all bills. I sometimes work from home and have a study set up.
I am looking for a place. I am a quiet person and stay in my room most of the time or outside for work/study. Studying full time and working part-time. Parking is essential and a separate bathroom is preferable but not essential. A non-smoking environment is essential as well. I would prefer to live with a small group with max. 2-3 people or with a family if they got a spare room. Initially, I will stay for a month and then pay on a weekly basis but planning to stay longer as well. I do photography as a hobby.
Housemate wanted Hey there, we are two individuals currently living in a 3 bedroom two storey flat in Rosanna looking for a third housemate to join us. A bit about the house and room: It’s $435 a month each. So pretty decent rent. Water is free. The electricity bill is normally $30 - $50 a month each. Internet bill is about $24 a month for unlimited use. Gas is around $50 per three months. House is furnished with essentially everything you could need (kitchen appliances, washing machine, etc). There is a large driveway with a garage so parking is never a problem with us all having a car each currently. There is a backyard. Heating and cooling units are throughout the house. Current contract is until the end of December 2019, with potential for extension if everyone wants to. :)
Hi I’m Jen, age 26. I’m a youth worker in the child protection sector. Just relocated back to Melbourne after a couple of years in QLD. New job is in Eaglemont. I'm not really looking for a share house, but to team up with one other person for a new rental. Ideally a nice person, similar age, who would become a friend for the occasional adventure together, but mostly do our own thing. I keep myself busy with work, grad cert and activities. I’m a vegetarian but not fussed about anyone else’s preferences. I dabble in yoga, fitness, and sewing. I’m plant obsessed and into my bedroom/living room greenery. I love cats but don’t come with my own sadly. If you do, I would be extremely happy. I am very tidy and house proud. Apart from a potential housewarming banger, I’m pretty quiet and a weekend vino is about as wild as it gets for me. In an ideal world, we’d team up to sign a 6 month lease for a 2 bed, 2 bath place and go from there. I do need some type of parking for my old faithful vehicle. Walking distance to the train station or a coffee shop would be a bonus. Budget is $250/wk + bills. I come with a decent amount of nice homewares I’m trucking down from QLD- either for my own large bedroom or shared spaces - tv and unit, 3seater chaise couch, dining table, plants, kitchenware. I can provide TPG wifi. Combined with some bits and bobs of your own, we’d be pretty set up. Hope to hear from you.
Nursing student at LTU and laser therapist Moved from Perth a year ago I don't mind a few drinks every now and then but more focused on my degree Cleaning and music are my stress release so enjoy a boogie while I get the house sparkling Will unconditionally love fur/scale babies Flexitarian diet cause I have poor self control
I work full time as a Legal Secretary, I am the type to have a laugh, talk heaps and outgoing. I am also very caring and compassionate person, who also loves to clean or bake goodies on my weekends. I am after an unfurnished room and am available to move in at any time suitable :)
Responsible, professional, housebroken. Single dad (shared custody of 2 primary school kids) Ideally Looking to share with another single parent with schoolkid/s, close to Rosanna station. Looking to move by end of 2019 but flexible. Kinda putting the feelers out to see if sharing with another parent/s is a viable option. (Suggestions and feedback from other parents very welcome on this topic...even if your not looking in my area).
Hospo professional. Looking for a change of pace after a physically demanding 3-year stint in food production [Parmesan for ALDI]. Hope to find somewhere close to public transport. As much as I enjoy the bike, it's nice to use the Train to get home after a big day. I love cooking, entertaining. Especially like making sweets. Probably missed my calling as a Pastry Chef. Functional Oven a must! Fave cuisine Indian, Italian. My interests include Cycling, Cooking [I have a full range of accessories to complement any Kitchen], Digital Art, Music and Sport. I enjoy my privacy, but am happy to share social time with house mates over a shared meal or w/e BBQ - covered outdoor area ideal
Hi there, I am looking for a room in a house. I am also open to team up to get a unit like place on lease to live. Lifestyle: My work is related to I.T and my lifestyle is pretty solitary and simple. You would mostly just find me keeping to myself. I like to train in the gym often and find it fun cycling over weekends (subject to the weather). Cooking: I do not usually do any complicated cookings as I often just prepare simple and quick meals. You’re welcome to share and taste but like my life, my cooking skills are pretty simple too. It’s organised though as I need to prepare food sometimes for a couple of days in advance for the upcoming week. Home: I have been living in Australia from last 10 years and it’s been mostly Melbourne so consider this lovely city my home now. I have the dream to buy or build my home too so renting is kinda giving me more insight on the areas around Melbourne. If all went well, I’d most likely buy something in a year or two. Personality: I have been described nice, cool and friendly person. You may think I am an introvert sort of person too which I think is true to some extent but I get out of my zone pretty quickly these days. I take care of others space and do my best not to cause any disturbances. Reason of moving: Simple reason is I need a roof on me. I have been lucky sharing with nice people and particularly with my current housemate. We get along very well. Due to circumstances, he’d have to move quite farther from the city and I am looking for an area somehow convenient to my work. So it leaves me with one option to team up with someone or find some other place to call home. I’m open to both options. I prefer houses over apartments and would be ideal for me with just sharing maximum two other people. In a nutshell: If you like the idea of living individual lives but still sharing part of the house with other amenities paid on time without causing any drama then we are in luck. I am rent, utilities on time sorta person so have always been very organised there. I do my best to keep the place clean too so I don’t see any problem there as well. You would not find me lazing out from house cleaning or skipping on filling up the reserves that are meant to be in common. Why me? What makes me great to live with is you'd be just living with me. I would be bringing no pets, no friends, no girlfriends or boyfriends. I am a go by myself sorta person and ideally, looking for the similar. Oh Geez, is there anything else? That’s all 😁 One more thing, I’m not sure how long would it take to find a suitable place but other details like when can I move in and stay length etc. is in the listing so please take into account that as well. I am not moving until first week of October. I am just bit planning ahead sorta person hence despite I have some fair bit of time, I’ve stared looking for the place. With mutual agreement and reasonable timeframe, I’d be happy to start renting within my current lease at some stage. Feel free to ask if you’ve any questions.
