Hi, I'm a professional, working from Capalaba, looking for someone, or two people to share house with while I save up a little money for a home or investment. I'm a very easy-going person, tidy but not OCD. I get to a point where I reach spring clean mode, and i'm used to looking after my own properties. I'm over the party scene, but I do love a dinner/games party and a get-together BBQ. I love getting away for my weekends, and going on short adventures. But, when I can't get away I don't mind a chilled out weekend. I love riding bikes, with motors and without, and generally getting outdoors. This does mean that I come with a number of bicycles, a bunch of camping gear, a couple of guitars, 2 vehicles and some furniture (which I'm happy to share!). I do have a gorgeous beautiful wonderful adopted puppy (not a puppy) dog who will be visiting from time to time, but not a full time pet. If you think we might get along, message me! Note- I am not looking to move until Saturday the 1st of July. I am an environmental professional moving to Brisbane from Adelaide to work with a large mining company. I will be predominantly 9-5pm working in the city centre although, will also be required to work away from time to time. My initial contract is for two years, so if the flat share thing works out, I'm happy to continue for that time. I do not know many people in Brisbane so I figured accommodation sharing might be a good way to meet some people. I enjoy a chat and a few beers/wines, but I also enjoy my own space and downtime. I am clean and tidy, and extremely respectful of other peoples personal space. Also Keen to join a gym nearby, if you know of any? Ideally I will share with only one other person and have a private bathroom. However if the house is large and we aren't all cramped in, and there is at least two bathrooms, I will consider living with more than one person. I am a professional working at an architecture firm in Spring Hill during the usual Monday - Friday 9 - 5. I am usually outta the house around 7.30 (workouts in the morning) and if I'm not doing overtime at the office I'm playing futsal Wednesday and Friday evenings. Weekends are whatever goes but I'm usually keen to go check out some culture/events/catchup with friends and all the jazz. Main transport is a motorcycle so no need for a car park, maybe just a nook somewhere. I am pretty handy (started out as a sparky apprentice) so I can fix things and I have a broad range of interests and enjoy a chat over a couple drinks. Great spot close to trains and the city. Quiet street with a great outlook over the back deck looking to bush.
