I am very okay with pets (in fact I love them) and I work part-time hospitality over the weekend. Not a party animal but will very occasionally invite 1 (or 2 friends max) over to hole up and study in my room, depending on the offer (e.g. price, location near places where I can find a cafe/library/room to do group study), I am okay with not inviting guests at all.
