I'm a 21 Year old IT Technician and Network Admin, working full time in Darra. Clean and organized guy with a love of classical guitar. Looking for a place with a decent amount of room, with privacy for myself and for others any others I'd be living with. Internet is a must. Would prefer own bathroom.
I’m easy for a chat, but I’ll mostly keep to myself. I’m tidy and any mess I create in common areas will be cleaned up without hassle. I’ve just graduated high school and am looking for somewhere; anywhere! to live as a semi-permanent solution. Roommates wouldn’t bother me but as well as that I’m happy with no roommates. I enjoy all sorts of activities so in my spare time I’ll probably be out and about seeing what there is to do around the city and when I’m not I’ll be at home with my earphones in and head in a book.
Hello there! Here are a few quick points about me: • I will be working at the University of Queensland as a researcher/postdoc. • I work about 6 days a week • I have lived in shared houses most of my life in Greece, UK and Germany. • Not much of a party animal, more into good wine, good food and an interesting conversation • I am an excellent cook with a repertoire that has been tried and tested successfully in countless dinner dates over the years. • In terms of hobbies: I love chess and cycling and I plan to start going to the gym in a bit more regular basis. I also enjoy dancing and I have taken classes in salsa, hip hop and swing. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What I am looking for: • Shared accommodation with one-two more people (maybe I will consider up to 3 if everything else seems to fit well). • a neat tidy and organized property. • I would prefer to live in a non-smoking property, as it would help with my efforts of quitting smoking. • I love animals, so living with pets is not an issue. • My ideal flatmates would be the kind of people that I could share a glass of wine with, would be easy going, tidy and have sense of humor. • I am looking for a place I can call home, and ideally would like to stay there for up to 4,5 years. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As I am currently in the UK, I will be looking for a videocall inspection so I can get a feeling for the property and we can see if we feel we would be a good fit. Thanks for taking the time to read my ad!
I'm rarely home Monday to Friday due to working long hours. I need a quiet place to sleep. On weekends, I'm usually out and about. I'm respectful of others' privacy and time. I would prefer a place that accepts a pet (4kg poodle, very old and quiet) - however, she would only be with me weekends and maybe 1 night a week. I would love somewhere safe to park my car, but also has great public transport options!
Hi! I'm Emma, 23 years old from Brisbane. Looking for a new place to live with some cool, like-minded people.
I am a 25 years old Dane, currently studying International Security and Law at master level in Denmark and I'm now about to write my final thesis. I have almost three years of experience with sharing a flat and I understand the importance of respect and communication as well as individual responsibility for cleaning up after yourself. I already have some experience with living in Brisbane as I conducted an internship as a student research assistant at UQ from August 2018 I am well organized, honest, and happy. I enjoy being social, cooking, and having fun with my friends.
I am from a small town just outside of Hervey Bay. I like playing soccer, gaming and generally having fun! I am pretty easy going. I am moving to Brisbane for Uni at UQ. I am looking for an affordable room to rent.
I'm currently working full-time in Ipswich but looking to transfer to Brisbane CBD and looking for a place in between the two locations. In my spare time I like being outdoors. Looking to stay for 6-12 months, longer if things work out. Hoping for a place with people of similar age, with two other housemates at the most. My current lease ends mid-Feb. Recently out of a long-term relationship so for the last ten years I have kept my own place, and I value privacy. I have some furniture that I would like to bring with me including a washing machine, couch, hallway table in addition to bedroom furniture however I do have the option to store or sell.
Hi, I will be moving from Melbourne to Brisbane at the end of January / early February. I have a few prospective job offers waiting in Brisbane, as a truck driver. Yes I do have children but they live elsewhere in brisbane and will not be living / staying with me. I consider myself a considerate and tidy housemate and think it's important to strike the right balance between a functional friendship and giving a housie some space! I have experience with sharing a flat / house and can provide a reference from my present landlady / housemate. Although I am a smoker I prefer a house where smoking is outdoors only. Finally, I am pet-friendly. Hope to hear from you soon. With kind regards, Paul
Hey there, I'm looking for people to team up with me to set up in either an apartment or a flat. I already own most of the furniture to set up the place. what you do really need is a bed though cause i don't have 2 of them :( I just finished my contract with BP and I am going back to Brisbane to finish my education degree. I am easy to get along with. I like cooking and baking in my free time and I talk a lot. And I always keep the house clean which I normally clean the whole house once every two weeks (once a week if necessary). If you think I'd be the person you want to team up with, feel free to leave a message
I am in my final year of study at UQ! I am studying journalism and communication. I work in retail and I am interested in politics, photography and news (obviously).
Very tidy person. Easy going. Work full time have weekends off . From new Zealand (Christchurch) have a puppy doberman so if you like pets that's an advantage so im looking for a place that also has a dog to keep her company :)
Yo im always outdoor so im quite as hell. I also cant relax till i clean\fix the atmosphere. Ill only chill\disturb if very necessary and accepting, Doesn't bother me either way. Get along with anyone. quite asf, colourful in the right situations
I am a student dietitian and work casually in reception atm. I am a super tidy person and appreciate others personal space but I also love to have a chat and have a warm friendly home! I love everything health and fitness. I am looking for a roommate or 2 who are also tidy and who are just in general a great gal/s!
I am currently looking for someone or two to share a place with. Preferably long term. Im friendly, clean and funky. Sometimes I love to keep to myself and at times I love a good conversation. I have a couple casual jobs and at times part time, so I’m always in and out. When I’m at home, I cook, paint and just relax. Open to teaming up to find a new space as well :)
I'm a librarian technician, and looking for something near the Ipswich train line to make my work commute easier. I like writing, listening to podcasts, and watching films & tv. I'm quiet and easygoing, and am always up for a good conversation or a laugh with friends! I love dogs and cats, I don't smoke and I'm a clean and friendly housemate.
I am a student attending South Bank TAFE starting in late January and currently working as a retail assistant in Ipswich, so being close (walking distance) to a bus stop or train station is a necessity. I'm moving by myself with my cat, Juliette, who is nearly 2 years old. She is desexed, an indoor cat, and non-destructive. She is very shy and afraid of most people, but not at all violent. She will stay well out of your business and her food and kitty litter will be kept in my room. I attend karate biweekly in Redbank and cosplay conventions about 2-4 times a year. These are also my main two hobbies. I am an extremely friendly and easy to talk to person, always excited and open to meeting new people. I am a good cook, fairly quiet not interested in throwing parties or anything like that and extremely clean. I look forward to getting to know you.
Hi! Work full-time enjoy chill weeks gym getting outdoors and leading an active lifestyle. Enjoy the odd beer or two, clean and respectful of others and their opinions. Non smoker no kids team player.
Move date is a guesstimate as not exactly sure yet but most likely within 1month. Household presently in is amicably dissolving due to changes in our lives/circumstances. Please message me through here or if you text my mobile, please include your listing's webpage address. Otherwise, i'm sorry but i won't be interested as then you aren't verified and i don't know you're for real. Looking for quiet place that allows indoor only cats. After a place for a minimum of 3 months, if works out well, would stay for longer. Am 44, a non smoker/drinker, on disability pension for permanent health issues (migraines, arthritis, fibromyalgia and mobility issues). Fairly tidy person, but hygiene is must with me for kitchen and bathroom. I can be picky with kitchen and bathroom/toilet cleaniless, with keeping them clean as possible, the kitchen especially. Due to health, althu i like keep things tidy with my other living areas, i can't always clean as would like to, but when able to, do tend to have cleaning episodes where as much as can be cleaned/tidied is done (usually everything). Am otherwise fairly easy going, quirky, quiet, respectful person, preferring to keep to myself and needing own private space. I am an introvert who loves reading, writing, music, movies and am frequently on computer and streaming movies/tv (when/where possible). Have tastes more alternative than mainstream and am most definitely not 'girly'. I am well used to sharing with guys and girls. Also well accustomed to being around 'freaks', nerds/geeks, and others of 'peculiar' hobbies (such as all forms of rpg's, gamers, etc). Don't mind being around children of school age, happy to occasionally babysit so parents can have some time out for themselves. Need my cat with me, he is my ESA (emotional support animal) with my health issues. My cat is a quiet, clean, desexed, indoor cat who is very skittish around other people until he knows them which takes first getting used to the new place then to the new people. (Being a cat not used to people in general it will take some time in a new place, with new people.) My cat is fully an indoor only cat so must have a place that's fully ok with that. As is an indoor cat, I do take steps to minimise any smell (such as litter tray odour reducers and air fresheners, etc) and clean both his food bowls and litter tray daily. Preferring to live on own in small self contained place that is quiet and not many people around as need own space, mostly as I get paranoid about my cat getting outside and getting hurt or going missing. Needing a place without steps, easy to maintain and close-ish to some type of shopping center if possible. Do not have own car. While prefer living in own space, don't mind sharing with 1 or 2 others who are also quietish people if have my own quiet space. Would also consider sharing with a single parent with a child. Have own furniture etc, so need non furnished place. Also bedroom needs space for a queen bed as need to have my own bed as i have special needs with my bed. Mostly looking for a place close(ish) to Centenary area or Indooroopilly or within easy drive of them, and with easy, close parking for family who help me get around for shopping, doctor visits etc. But as know my options will be limited, willing to consider many other areas. Also as tend to do online shopping with home deliveries, need it to be ok with that. As for rent / costs / bills can afford, i can go higher than $150pw rent if bills are fully included or i have more space for my own things so less costs in paying for storage with what i don't have space for. If you look at my fb, please know i have it set to fully private (as i'm a very private person) and show my liking for HP Lovecraft in the cover picture. Also, my first name on it is my nickname not my legal first name due to having an abusive ex - he is no longer an issue except only on social media (fb is aware of the situation and worked with me on it).
