Hi there!! I’m Andrew - a M27 Kiwi relocating to Queensland in the near future. I am a Land Surveyor taking up a professional role in Brisbane, and as such I am seeking accommodation in a flatting or studio environment. I am looking for a furnished room, and my budget is up to $300/wk, preferably inclusive of bills. Also looking for somewhere with off-street parking, as I will have a work vehicle which will need to be parked off-street for insurance purposes. So, why me? I am a polite and honest individual with stable employment. I am a team player and open-minded, and pride myself on being able to get along with people from any and all walks of life. No matter who you are or where you come from, I intend to treat you, your housemates, and your property with respect and reliably pay all expenses on time. A bit about myself: • An undergraduate degree in Surveying relocating to work on major infrastructure projects around Brisbane and wider SEQ • Lover of sports, particularly football, rugby and cricket. Someone will have to explain AFL to me! • Passionate about the outdoors and nature, including hiking and camping. • Creative and musical. I grew up playing musical instruments and enjoy listening to all sorts of tunes, from classical to alt-rock to house music! • In a long-term relationship. My partner Felicity is staying back in NZ for the time being, and may look to relocate to Brisbane in early 2027. She is a primary school teacher and we recently bought our first home together in NZ. • I enjoy my cooking, and whipping up basic meals which are healthy and tasty. More than happy to cook for others too. • I do enjoy the odd weekend drink and meeting new people, however I recognise that the flat needs to be a quiet environment, so I’d be more than happy to do this elsewhere. I will be working long hours during the week, so won’t be loud or disturbing. If you think I would be a good fit for your living environment, I’d love to be in touch!
