Hi, my name is Kaylene. I am a mature, single, professional female looking for accommodation, preferably on the Eastern Shore but I can be flexible. I work long hours and most weekends so you would hardly see me. Tassie has been my home for almost 12 months. Prior to that I lived in my own home in QLD. I understand the need for privacy and respect. I am neat, tidy and reliable. I look forward to meeting new people and forming friendships. I require a minimum of three months accommodation.
Hello! I'm moving to Hobart at the beginning of January because I've found a job here. I am going to work full time as a graduate architect and I am super excited about the move! I am looking for a room to rent close to the CBD. I love to hang out with my housemates but I take care about each others privacy as well 😉. I am interested in yoga, graphic design, movies and photography. Orginally from Poland. I would love to meet like-minded people with who I could explore beautiful Tasmania in our free time ;) Message me please if you think we could get along! Cheers! Anna
Hi, My name is Suparat from Bangkok, Thailand. I’m a full-time student at UTAS and working part-time in the city. I’m looking for a long-term place to stay. Hi everyone, Leon here, I'm a PhD student at UTAS studying birds and insects in the school of biological sciences. I spend a lot of time doing fieldwork in the bush, when I'm not doing that I like to just read a book or practice my guitar. I'm clean, respectful and easy going and housemates who are the same and enjoy having a meal together every now and then.
Hi there, my name is Shannon, I'm 25 years old, friendly, a non-smoker, a vego and work full time Monday - Friday. I'm fairly busy during the week with work and the gym and on the weekend I like to socialise with friends, whether that is getting drinks or going for bush walks or going to a gig. I love a netflix binge and a glass of wine, but also appreciate some downtime and doing my own thing. It’s important that I get along with my housemate(s) and live in a comfortable, respectful home. I am looking to move into a place in the New Year, around mid January but can be flexible with move in dates.
Hey there :) My name is Destiny. I'm mature, passionate and easy going! I like to keep busy with work, study and hobbies. Ill be arriving in Hobart January 9th and searching for work once arriving- don't have work lined up already but I'm more than able to support myself without it for atleast 6 months. Just hope to find friendly housemate/s and am super excited to settle in and explore Tassie. Please don't hesitate to say hi 🙂 Would love to meet you!
I am a 26 year old health professional. Relocating in late February 2019 Clean & easy going. I enjoy the occasional social gathering but mostly keep to myself. Keen outdoor adventurer (mostly hiking) and just starting to get into bouldering.
I'm a dental student in my 5th year (JCU Cairns) and will be in Hobart for one of my final year placements (Jan to beginning of June). Originally I'm from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, but have studied in Cairns for my degree and have loved it. Stoked to be in Tassie for a while to explore some different areas. I'm into mountain biking, hiking, camping, and gym in my free time. Looking for a place to stay in Hobart during my placement, ideally not too far drive from the clinic in Newtown and with neat and easy going housemates. Prefer to have furnished room and private bathroom but I don't mind sharing either. I am very tidy and responsible, like to have a chat but also respect personal space. I plan to do a lot of exploring/camping on weekends but will be doing some study during the week. Keen to team up with like-minded, easy going housemates
Heya! I'm Monique, I'm looking for a place to call home. I've maintained my own flat for the past 12 months; I enjoy being social over a couple bevs or dinner, and I am quite tidy, organized and always respectful of others space/things. I'll be looking to study at TAFE next year, but at the moment I'm working between 20 - 30hrs in hospo. In my spare time, I love to hang out with friends and go on adventures bushwalking, to the beach or camping trips. I'm looking for (preferably) a private room to settle into. A 6 month (with the possibility of extending to 12 months+) lease would be ideal. I do come as a package! Little Arlo, my 12-month-old kitty, is my pride n joy. He is house trained, short-haired, and never has he clawed any furniture or anything related. He is ok with other animals that i know of including dogs) I look forward to hearing from you, thnx for reading :)
Hi, I am a 26 year old registered nurse who is moving from Sydney to Hobart to start work in the Emergency Department at Royal Hobart Hospital in January. I am looking for similarly aged housemates to share a relaxed and comfortable home with. I am extremely tidy, clean and respectful of others. I like to be sociable within the household (especially as I don't know anyone in Hobart) but also understand people need their space within the household. I have lived in share houses the past 5 years, so I know how they work. I love travelling, exploring, reading, food, wine and coffee. Jen
I've just moved here from Sydney. Originally from Brazil. I would love to share a flat with easy-going, fun, open-minded people. I'm sociable and quiet at the same time. The party days are mostly over but I still enjoy some wine or cocktails every now and then. I'm very respectful of other people's privacy and expect the same of them. I love a clean environment and have no problem with sharing the chores. I will love it if you have a pet :) I'm into yoga, hiking, reading, cooking. I'm a chef at a restaurant in town. Feel free to contact me and ask any other questions.
Hi ! I'm Sindri, 23 years old and currently studying full time in maths at UTAS. I've lived in several share houses before and I'm looking for relaxed and friendly people to live with, who like to socialise but also do their own thing. I like to keep active, play sport and go on bushwalks etc. I also enjoy playing and listening to music, beer, cooking (and eating) food. I'm open minded, and can always be persuaded into netflix. If you think we'd get along, feel free to say hi !
Hello! My name is Hollie Jackson. I love dogs, playing football, gardening and going to the beach. I work part time in marketing and as a private nanny. I am also entering my fourth year of Law at UTas. I also volunteer with UN Youth Australia, and COMET. I am quiet, clean, friendly and considerate. I am looking for similar housemates, and to find a lease for about six months, before I move overseas in July 2019.
I'm studying Psych at UTas with a major in neuroscience. I'm a volunteer scout leader who works part time at Sustomi, making me a super environmentally friendly person. I keep to myself but if you want to have a chat i'm always more than happy to hang out :)
I pretty much keep to myself most of the time, I run my own business and take care of clients all around Australia. Have an office down Salamanca so bonus if I can leave mu car home and walk to work. Always up for a chat during down time. Moved back to Hobart from Sydney to slow down a bit and enjoy the quiet life.
Hi there! Having a accepted a job in Hobart (in psychology), I am looking forward to moving there from Perth in January. I am originally from the US/UK and moved to Australia 8 months ago. I guess I consider myself mostly British as I have lived there the longest, but it's a tough decision! I enjoy doing things that keep me generally happy and healthy - being outdoors, hiking, biking, gardening, gym, yoga, great food and cooking, culture and meeting new people. I'm passionate about my career as well so psychology belongs on my list of hobbies too. As I will be working full-time, I imagine I will be at home mostly during evenings and weekends. I am looking forward to joining social/exercise/hobby groups that get me out of the house but I will need some relaxed home-time all the same. I am most used to cooking as a vegetarian at home as my partner is vegetarian/vegan, but I am flexible about cooking amongst non-vegetarians. I've lived in a number of flat-shares, both at University and during my working life. This has given me great experiences in wonderful houses, locations and the opportunity to meet friendly people. I'd love to hear from you about flats, or about moving to Hobart in general :) Dalia
Hi, my names Joshua and I am a recent University graduate moving from Launceston to Hobart for a full time 9-5 job. I'm a neat and tidy individual that is open to long or short term house share options. I like to read, binge watch Netflix on occasion and stay fit and active in my spare time.
Heyyy, I'm Luciana and I'm 23 years old. I'm currently working full-time in Melbourne and will be relocating to Tassie (Hobart) very soon for study purpose. I'm looking for a private room in a share house (for myself only) from prox. end of Jan/early of Feb onwards. Most of the time I will be out and about, but I will still up for wine-night and enjoy social/dinner time or movie night with housemates. However, I will be quiet in room majority of the time to relax/retreat or do my own work. I'd describe myself as an outgoing, responsible, nonsmoking and tidy person. I have experiences with living in a shared house and respect my housemates' privacy or house's rules. So it'd be ideal if I could find a lovely housemate-to-be have the same thought :) Cheers, Luci
