Hi everyone :D I'll be doing one semester at UTAS and looking for a potentiel home for my stay (feb-june). Ideally would be around Battery Point, but flexible about location. Very outdoorsy person, who's always up for an adventure. Very outgoing and social, and would love a place where we maybe cook dinner together sometimes, but at the same time respect the need for privacy.
I am moving to Hobart after 9 years living in Queensland. I am a hospitality worker and love to cook and explore new places on my spare time. I'm looking for a quite and peaceful place to live where I can retreat after a busy day.
Hi, My name is Swathi. I've been in Melbourne for 5 years, I used to work full time and now I'll be moving to Tasmania for my studies. I am very easy going person, I respect my housemates privacy and clean up after myself. During my weekends I just like to chill out, hang out with my friends and wouldn't mind grabbing a beer with my housemates.
Hi future roommate, you will share the house with me, a female master student majored in IT. I'm a quite easygoing and friendly person. I studied Advertising in Melbourne for three years, and now I‘m an expert in sharing accommodation with others. Currently, I've rented a perfect house. You can find more property information from my list. Most time I will study at the library. When I have free time, I enjoy art and culture kind of things, such as reading, painting, and writing novels. If you like GOT as well, the wonderful thing is that we might watch season 8 together in April. Sometimes I like to explore outdoor natural scenery, walk along the seaside and stare at cloud doing nothing. I hope we can make the house a warm and comfortable place to live in. Hopefully, we can become friend in each other's life journey.
Hi there! I've been living in my current place in Sandy Bay for about three years but unfortunately my landlord is selling place so I have to move out. I'm originally from New Zealand but Hobart's been my home for a long time now. I like to fix up old bicycles, and I volunteer at the Hobart Bike Kitchen when I'm not working in the city. I love music, and have done since I began listening to my brother's vinyl collection in the 70s and I'm still onto something new every month. I've been involved with the Wilderness Society for a few years now and help out where I can. When I'm at home I like to fix bicycles (did I mention bicycles?!), read sci-fi books, go mountain biking with my friends or go for walks. I'm pretty handy about the house and happy to repair things as I go. I tend to eat out, so I don't use the kitchen and I always tidy up after myself. I respect my housemates' personal space and their privacy, but I like a chat as well. I pay all my bills on time and pay my rent like clockwork. All in all, I'm pretty low maintenance :) I'm looking for something with easy access to the city on a bike or bus, between $180 and 220, depending on the place. Looking forward to meeting you!
I am a commencing utas student. I am a really friendly and outgoing guy, I like talking and hanging out with people. With my company the sharehouse would be full of joy and happiness. Also, I am a really tidy person, I don’t like my room being messy and dirty, so I will keep my room all the time.
Welcome to Jordan and Quintons stunning federation property in South Hobart :) Amazing renovated four bedroom house in a great location. Walk the scenic Rivulet to the city, with great shops and cafes nearby. The house also has NBN and Foxtel. Generous, unfurnished, bright room, share main bathroom with one other. We are looking for a like minded single who will respect the home and who's clean and reliable. We both have very busy jobs and respect each others space. If it sounds like you would be a good fit then send us a message :-)
Hi :) My name's Talitha, I'm from Western Australia and I will be heading back over to Hobart on the 30th of January to begin my second year of a Bachelor of Marine and Antarctic science at UTAS. In my spare time I enjoy surfing, freediving, cooking and any and all adventures! I am quiet and quite clean so I am searching for a place with flatmates of similar qualities. I do enjoy a social drink and chat, however I also appreciate personal space and as I am a full time student and casual worker I am not interested in a party house. Looking for a place preferably close to UTAS. I am flexible with the length of stay, but ideally I would like somewhere until the end of the university year. I am also happy to team up with people and search for a rental together. Thanks!

3 girls 1 property! Together, we make up three clean and tidy female university students who are studying at the University of Tasmania. We have all lived in rental properties and have exemplary rental histories and understand how to respect and maintain a property. Below we have included a little bit more information about us individually: Bridget. I'm a 25year old studying Marine Biology and Geology at UTAS. I am currently finishing up my summer job in Victoria and moving back to Sandy Bay for my second year. I am commencing employment in a retail store upon arrival back to Sandy Bay (15-25 hours per week). I am also supported by government rent assistance so will have no problems meeting rent payments. In my spare time I enjoy paddleboarding, diving and hiking Tasmania’s wonderful national parks. Bronte. I'm a 19year old studying Marine Biology at UTAS which is where I met Bridget. I consider myself incredibly mature and level headed. I have spent the last 12 months happily working at the State Cinema in North Hobart approx. 20-40 hours a week and living in Sandy Bay. I have a supportive family by my side. In my spare time I enjoy surfing at South Arm, swimming and playing volleyball. Sage. I'm a 22year old studying Media and Communications at UTAS. I have spent the last semester and summer holidays on exchange in the United Kingdom where I enjoyed enriching myself in the European way of life. I receive government rent assistance as well as working part time babysitting in Hobart for a lovely local family. I will have no problems meeting rent payments. In my spare time I enjoy hiking around Tasmania, swimming and surfing.
Hey there, we are Javier and Nicole, a Chilean-German couple. We are looking for a place for us both, ideally close to UTAS. I am Nicole and already in Hobart and doing an exchange semester in Antarctic Sciences. Javier works as a programmer and will arrive in April to do an English course at UTAS as well. We would love to share some evenings with you or hang out during the day, if you're up for it. In our free time we like to go hiking or camping, going out for some beer and nice conversations at night and our newly discovered passion is photography. Javier is into music, computers, and videogames, while I enjoy painting and petting dogs (we don't have one though). We like getting to know new people and are easy to get along with. We are respectful and clean and we hope to find someone likeminded to live with during our time in this beautiful city. Cheers, Javier and Nicole
We are two danish engineering and management students that are looking for the perfect place to live out the next 6 month as exchange students in Hobart. We are both properly the most outgoing people you will meet, but definitely have the respect of a closed door. We are looking forward to explore Tasmania and have a lot of fun and exciting experiences while we are here.
I am a friendly guy loved to make new friends , caring guy, uni student, love to have some beers with mates on friday nights just to chill around and make friendship better, travelling is my passion would love to hand out
I'm a 26 year old working full time in the city as a hotel bar tender. I've just returned home after living and working overseas. I'm super easy going, fun, have a wide variety of interests and enjoy maintaining an active social life! I'm respectful of others and their property and I like to keep my living spaces clean and tidy. I've been living in share houses for the past 6 years and would like to find some housemates who are young, vibrant and don't mind the odd wine but at the same time I would prefer the house not to be party central. I'm after a place located close to the city to be nearer to work.
I’m a functions events manager who has lived mostly in Sydney and Brisbane and Canberra. I have worked in the hospitality industry for 18years and I guess pride myself of that after almost finishing my medicine degree. If I would describe a normal day for me it would be answering emails before breakfast (as I’m doing now :) ) then heading out for a quick run before I start work. If I’m not working I love theatre and art and sports. When I want to be private and quiet I guess I love to sit in a coffee shop for a random number of hours and read my book and ignore my surroundings. Ultimately I hope to think I am a fun amateur cook, loveable listener and all round nice person who can run his career which is very difficult but at the same time have his downtime and if it doesn’t intrude, with his awesome flatmates. That’s me ... Steven M. I’m also open if anyone wants to fill a few weeks gap to take short term. Hmu if you think we are a good fit. Update: I am in Townsville until 17/2 helping my family clean after the recent floods which have destroyed my home town. Happy to skye email etc before I return.
I'm Evan, an architecture graduate who just landed a job in Hobart. Looking for a place close to the city so I can hopefully walk to work although I do have a car. Friendly, respectful and considerate, clean and tidy, open minded.. a small list of qualities I not only possess but am also looking for in potential future housemates. Things I enjoy include but are not limited to: guitar, gym, hiking, camping, attempting to surf, reading, gigs/festivals, travelling, and gin.
