Relocating to Hobart for work, I'm a single professional in my mid 30s looking for people around my own age (or maturity) to share with. I enjoy the outdoors and am easy going and relaxed. I am seeking a homely place; while also maintaining my independence. I haven't lived in Tassie for many years, so I am looking forward to exploring old and new jaunts.
I’m Abby, I’m 22 years old in my 3rd year of my degree at UTAS and I work inbetween studying at Bunnings. Looking for somewhere to move in mid July , preferably 6 - 12 months. I am a very tidy person, I enjoy socialising, but I also enjoy alone time and understand boundaries well. I think I’m a fun and bubbly person and I’m really looking for a positive environment to live in. I’m hoping to find somewhere that can accomodate my little dog aswell, he is a small shitzu x chihuahua super friendly, house trained and loves everyone he meets. Send me a message if you’d like to meet me!
I´m from Mexico, I study Design there, and am 24 years old, Im really easy going, love hanging out with friends and going out. I consider myself good for making new friends and socializing with new people, really creative and cheerful. I´m really clean and respectful with other people space and things. I would love the opportunity to get to know new people from different nacionalitis and making this exchange an incredible adventure.
I'm respectful, I read, am quiet, clean and tidy. In the yin yang of things, I'm about balance and enjoy time on my own and with others. I'm a Canadian who just arrived in Hobart and am keen to hit the ground running – dark mofo has been a very cool introduction to the city. I enjoy getting to know my flatmates, maybe play some games, watch movies and indulge in some wine – at the same time I respect people's space. I've just been granted the right to work here (June 20) and am thrilled! I'm now on the job hunt but might work remotely (building websites in a CMS) for a previous employer, while I secure something local. With that in mind, I will be around the house to begin with until I sort out a work space (I really have no desire to be in the same place, day and night). I enjoy and thrive off of creative unbound conversation, think Rick and Morty or South Park - and yes, I have a dark sense of humour. Also, I really like big picture thinking - like how fast are we moving through space at this moment (seriously - if you know please tell me). I have a thirst for knowledge (although I detest trivia - more of the hows and whys of things). Cats - although I enjoy them, I am allergic. Car - I require parking. Aside from that, I'm fairly easy going and available to come by in person at a time that suits your schedule. Looking forward to it, David
Hello! We are two sisters looking for a place to stay in 2018. We are both quiet, friendly and easygoing people. We are looking for a property with two rooms available, or a large room that we could share, as we are good friends (as well as sisters) and would love to stay together if possible! Megan is the oldest and a bit of a grandma on the inside :) She loves baking, art-ing, craft-ing and a good cup of tea every now and then. She is very interested in ecology and the environment and is in her third year of Bachelor of Natural Environment and wilderness studies at UTAS. Erin is the youngest of the two and loves painting and drawing :) She is studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts at UTAS and works most days in the CBD. Erin also has a car, so a property with a parking space would be ideal. Ideally, we would like to stay in Battery Point, Dynnyrne, South Hobart, Sandy Bay or the city, but if you have a place that you think would be suitable elsewhere that is easily accessible by public transport, we'd also be open to hearing from you :) We look forward to hearing from you!
My husband and i are looking for a nice place to live near to Hobart CBD. We currently live in Melbourne but we applied for a new visa in which my husband will be studying in Hobart. So we are going to move around 12-15 of July due to his course start on 17 of July. We are very social and friendly.
I'm a full-time worker in Hobart City, graduated from UTAS last year (2017). I've been in Tasmania for almost 4 years now, mostly in Launceston due to the nature of my course (Architecture). This is my first time moving into Hobart, and I am still exploring this place. As of 2018, I'm 25 years old, from Singapore. I am slightly socially awkward. But if you spend enough time with me, you'll see a different person - outgoing, loud, funny, talkative (as according to my friends). Well, I do appreciate some alone time too. It's nice to respect each other's privacy at times. I do love the outdoors, though I don't really have time for it.
Hey, My name is Stephen a 26 year old full time employed marine biologist. I'm originally from Melbourne, but moved to Hobart in August of last year. With the recent storm event, my room in a share house in Taroona was flooded, and requires too much repair for me to stay. I've lived in share houses in Melbourne, Hobart and overseas. I am clean, respectful, easy going and have made many good friends from my previous share houses. I enjoy anything involving the water, getting outside, music and relaxing with a movie. Also, I wasn't really sure how long to list the stay so just did 9 months. I hope to hear from you, Stephen
Im a super chill, clean and easy to get along with individual. I’m fairly active so my days would be working, hiking, exploring, playing cards with anyone who will play, and throwing around a frisbee! I’m a really honest and independent individual. I enjoy getting to know my roommates but also appreciate and respect alone time. I really appreciate honest people who communicate effetively. I’ve found that works best in roommate situations, rather than passive aggressive people! I’m a keen traveller and haven’t explored Tas before so I’ll be hiking and camping lots hopefully. I'm Canadian, so living with me will guarantees a laugh a day at my accent! I’ve reached an age where I enjoy beer and wine still but not so much the party scene. Definitely enjoy a cheeky few drinks on the weekends though :] Cheers for your time. Steph

Hello everyone! My partner and I currently live in Kingston! We both work in town so are looking for something a bit closer. We are very respectful and chilled out people. Ryan works in a food warehouse and also goes to gym 5/7 days a week, I work at flight centre in town 8-6 and other than that I’m usually out visiting my friends and family or just relaxing at home. We are both social people, and would love to share a home with some like minded people who love a good conversation and can be friends with us rather than just house mates. If you have something available or are interested in a team up please message me! Thank you
My name is Lauren and I graduated from RMIT last year. I am planning to move to Tasmania in July. I am looking for a shared house or shared apartment with a low budget (120-200), preferably close to UTAS, Tasmania state library, Menzies Institute. I lived in dorm rooms for years, then shared house, shared room, I have a lot of experiences sharing space with others. I am considerate, respectful, quiet and clean.
Hey potential housemate, I'm Sam. I've moved to Hobart to start a new job and am keen to settle in a nice place to come home to. I love to cook, share a bottle of wine or a pot of tea over a chat. I'm the right amount of social for a housemate and I'm house trained for cleaning, tidiness and general noise. I'm really after a home house, rather than a party house.
I have a permanent full time job in allied health and work Monday-Friday. I enjoy cooking, music, arts, exploring and cheese and wine. I like to stay busy throughout the week so it’s likely that I’ll be out of the house a little bit. I’m always keen for a friendly chat or movie but I also enjoy my own space. I like a clean, tidy house with respectful housemates. I have a good rental history and I’m happy to sign a lease!
I'm moving to Hobart from Melbourne to start my masters at Utas in the beginning of July. Lived in the shared house for the last five years, so know the drill. Neat, respectful and a Banter. Into cooking whenever I'm free and more than happy to share a meal or two. Love to socialize and respect personal space. Looking for a flatmate who's easy going, friendly and always up for a laugh.
I'm moving to Tasmania from NSW for work. Will be working full time work in Hobart, so looking to be based in or near Hobart. I'm a vegetarian, planet friendly, movie loving, feminist, baker. Big fan of soup. Super chilled, friendly, social justice campaigner. I'm a mature and respectful housemate. Clean and tidy. Would like to live with one other mature person, preferable a woman, who's left leaning, and is working. I am bringing some furniture, and kitchen utensils, gadgets, crockery etc with me Happy to team up with like minded person to house hunt.

Hi, I'm a busy musician and I teach from home a little (about 5 hours per week) as well as teaching in schools. I'm studying a Bachelor of Medical Research too and spend most of my time either working or studying. I'm looking for somewhere I can set up a small studio/work/teaching space. If this means paying for an extra room I'm ok with that. Pros/cons about me I work nights so I tend to sleep in compared to most I'm very lazy in the kitchen i.e. I can't be bothered cooking, and I am very particular about being clean. I am vegetarian I work a lot I value empathy, generosity, humour and hearty discussion I dislike people who display selfishness, arrogance or manipulative tendencies. I have a current housemate, Shruti, who is also looking for somewhere, so if you have 2 rooms, that's even better! (We are looking both together and separately). Our current lease ends at the start of July but we have flexibility in that.
I'm currently a hospitality professional looking to move to Hobart from Launceston. I'm very easy going, easy to get along with and respectful of privacy. I love to spend time outdoors hiking, biking and little road trips on my days off. When the weather's not so good I also like to hang around the house, have a good cook up and watch a movie and relax.
