Hi, I am renting out rooms in a grand old family home which is close to "Newport Lakes" and public transport. Rooms are partially furnished and all kitchenware, utensils are provided- you can bring your own bed if you wish. I have 1 rooms available that is partly furnished. Extra storage for clothing is available and a room is set aside as a store room if you have personal effects that won’t fit in your room. Rent is only $150 per week and the house is close to the CBD and to public transport. The gas heating bill is split between the tenants which should add no more than $25 to $30 per week to the rent in the colder months. I pay all the other bills. Both the tenants I had just left for different reasons recently and I had a new tenant just move in. I still need one more tenant to replace the 2nd tenant that left. There is a large green backyard with a wood fired barbecue for tenants to use. I stay in the house on and off, I am not there all the time, I split my time between this house and a house in Geelong. There is a $300 security deposit to pay on moving in. If you think you come up to my standards, which I don't think are high (I just want a normal person), then give me a call, send a text to my mobile number or send a message to the inbox for this website. Chris

We are a chilled bunch, like to get out and about on weekends and like a good Friday after work drink. We all really enjoy cooking and chatting over a nice wine. Monday to Thursday we like to relax and also all have our own activities we enjoy. Not looking for a party house just somewhere comfortable we can relax in. We also have a cute 2 year old french bulldog named Pedro who thinks (pretty much is) one of us.
Im a 25 year old tradie that works roughly 7-4 and keeps very active so out of the house a lot. I’ve lived in share houses since I was 18 so well versed in the cleaning up after myself and being a top housemate. During the week I’m pretty quiet with the occasional dinner but mostly a stiff and on the weekend just trying to explore Melbourne and see anything and everything that pops up from gigs to markets and events. I’m looking for a place asap and just want to live with some good people not too fussy about the room or house.
Hi, my name is Mark. I'm tidy and clean, easy going, respectful and great to live with I work in the corporate video and photography industry and love music and film Reliable rent and bill payer PREFERENCES: Long-term (at least 6-12 months) Spacious private room (for double bed, desk and wardrobe if not included) Clean, bright and cheerful / good-humoured household Non-smoking household Working professionals Housemates 30's and 40's HABITS / TRAITS: I am interested in the visual arts, love my photography, gardening, cooking and am very easy to get on with. I don't mind sharing the odd glass of wine with my housemates. Love discussions about the arts and politics. I generally don't watch TV except the news. Weekends are my chill out time if I'm not out filming or networking. I am very clean and tidy at home and happy to put in my share of the house keeping. I'm respectful of other's privacy and space. I've lived in many share houses before so I understand the drill. I also own my own home (interstate) so I understand the obligation to look after a place. Though I'm mostly out weekdays during the day, I do like to cook at home in the evenings. Weekends are generally my chill out time if I'm not out socialising or photographing. I can supply references if need be. I'd love to hear from you. Love to hear from you, Regards, Mark
I am an easy going and down to earth kind of chick - I work full time with a range of different hours per rostered month. I am looking for somewhere closer to Melbourne City as I work in Southbank and would really like to cut my commute down from 50 minutes each way! I love music, animals and enjoy a lot of quiet time (just time to myself!) and also going out with my friends, as my job is full on. I have two rabbits who both have their own hutches and would need some type of backyard (if possible) One of my rabbits is indoors but she is small and quite social and relaxed. I'm looking for like-minded adults who don't mind not seeing their flatmate constantly and who is able to accept two beautiful bunnies (they really are quite sweet and you would not need to care for them in any way at all.) I love to cook, bake, chill with a drink or two and love a good conversation. I'm quite flexible when it comes to arrangements and have my own furniture for a bedroom. If you have any questions don't hesitate to send a message. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hi, I'm Tenisha and I'm looking for a room on the outer suburbs of Melbourne :). I'm 20 and I just finished my Bachelor of music and I have a part time job. I've never had a problem paying rent or bills and I've never paid them late. I do have a 1 year old cat, she's a complete sweetheart but she's really shy. (If I move, Ginny has to move as well, she's like my lungs and I can't live without her 😂) I play my guitar from time to time, enjoy going out with my friends but I'm not a party animal. I enjoy going to the pub for a drink and a meal and socialising with my house mates but do enjoy some alone time as well. If you think I'm the right housemate for you, please don't hesitate to send me a message :)
Hey, we're Victoria and Sumaid... a young couple looking for a place to stay. I (Victoria) am 25, originally from the UK and been living in Melbourne for the last 6 years. I work full time as a debt collection call centre team leader which makes me sound a lot scarier than I am... I promise I'm a nice person :) I am bubbly, outgoing and quite sociable however I appreciate my own space and privacy. I'm a clean, tidy and hygienic person to live with who is happy to help with shared cooking if desired. I like my life to be filled with laughter, conversations to be filled with real stuff and my company to enjoy the same. Sumaid is 24, originally from Pakistan and also been living in Melbourne for the last 6 years. Sumaid works full time in an Italian restaurant in the city. He is also an outgoing, sociable person that enjoys getting outdoors and experiencing everything the western world has to offer! We met here in Melbourne through a mutual friend back in December 2016 and have been dating ever since. We are looking for a room that would be big enough for two; furnished or unfurnished. We would ideally like to pay no more than $300 per week altogether ($150 pp, pw) with minimum bond if possible as we are currently paying off debts and saving to travel next year. We would be happy to pay full months worth of bond if able to be paid in two installments :) If you have anything suitable or are willing to negotiate, please get in contact. We will be happy to meet and see if we all gel with one another (errrr, I hate that saying). Thanks for reading! Vic
Heyo! So a little but about me: My name is Joshua (Josh), I am 20 years old and am currently undergoing my third year of my bachelor of Social Work. I also currently work with DHHS. I'm a pretty quirky kind guy. In my spare time you'll find me dancing (hip hop, ballet and contemporary), taking photos, or binge watching Netflix (AHS or Rupaul ftw). I can cook a mean pesto pasta, and not much else! My current lease in Yarraville is coming to an end. I am looking to make a new change in my life by finding a new place! I will be needing a place by the end of March. I am aiming to stay in the Inner West area until the end of the first semester/end of holidays :) I will be moving out of Melbourne while I complete my placement however will be returning soon after.
Hey! I'm a very easy going and chilled out guy from a small town in North Eat Victoria wanting to move down to Melbourne. I currently work as a cleaner will be on the hunt as soon as I move. I spend a lot of time on my own but of course enjoy company. Although I lack in cooking skills I make up for them by enjoying cleaning and don't find it a task at all. I enjoy the casual drink and having a good time with friends while keeping respectful. I will be bringing my large/anxious/incredibly sweet American bulldog with me too, as she is the absolute love of my life! She is a 'sleep in my bed' type of dog but is 100% house trained and will hang out and give you kisses while I'm not home. So a yard is necessary. So honestly the only requirement I have for a housemate is for them to be kind and love her. EDIT: Two friends (one is moving at a later date) and a cat have joined in on this hunt! Can move from mid March onwards. Would love another person to join :)
Hello, I am looking for a place to stay, short term or long term in the Melbourne area, and also looking for work as well in the electronics industry. Thank you, Peter
Hello! Just a bit about us: I’m Canadian and he’s Irish, and we’re in our late twenties. We've been living together in Ireland for almost 2 years now with our wonderful friends and we're hoping to find one or two people to live with in Melbourne for the next few months. We’ve already had our crazy early twenties and we’re now looking to find nice, neat housemates to share a house with. We're fun, easy going, and value tidiness but we’re not neat freaks either. We can keep to ourselves but also like to enjoy a glass (or 3..) of wine and some laughs. We’re moving to Melbourne on the 5th of April and have a hostel booked for the first two weeks but we’d love to set up a viewing if possible in that first week and can move in any time after the 5th of April. We’re both looking for professional work (I'd ideally be working in administration and he is hoping for something in strength and conditioning with a sports team or similar) but until we're officially employed, we’re comfortable paying for 2 months rent upfront if that makes it easier on you! Never know what other details to include so please let us know if you have any questions :)
Hi I’m Mel! I’m a professional working full time in the city. I’m looking for somewhere nice and close to the city. I’m very neat and tidy and respectful of other people. I enjoy getting outdoors and exploring new places but also enjoy a quiet night in. I can be found baking, outdoors or hanging out at the gym in my spare time. I’m reliable and easy going and enjoy being around other people. I am looking for a private room somewhere near the city and close to a train line. (Please note that I am not a drug person and would best suit a drug-free household) If you think I would suit your household please message me :)
