G'day! I'm moving to Melbourne in Early February 2019 to pursue a manufacturing engineering career with Owens-Illinois. I will be working 7:00-3:30 in Spotswood Mon-Fri, but I may disappear from time to time for work travel. I am interested in joining a sharehouse ($150-225/w) or teaming up with fellow full-time workers and getting a lease on a townhouse (500-600pw split between two or three). I am absolutely comfortable signing onto the lease in the first instance. Please do no contact me unless you can meet the following Non-negotiables: - Private bedroom (with room for a double bed) - Parking option for large 4wd (Can be in a garage, carport or on kerb) - Not a party house Bonus points for: - Unfurnished room - Own bathroom - Dishwater (and any other modern amenities) - Cats/kittens I'm a routine based person - I value exercise; at the gym or otherwise and I prefer to meal-prep a majority of my food for the week. That's not to say I don't enjoy a drink here and there - I worked as a cocktail bartender for close to 2 years so I do indulge from time to time. I keep clean shared spaces and would expect the same from my housemates. While I am often up for a chat over dinner, I don't force the issue and I respect the privacy of others. Also, I eat A LOT of meat - so if you have issues with that... I encourage you look elsewhere (: I love all cats, and I like dogs, so long as they're toilet trained and groomed satisfactorily. Furniture I will be bringing with me to share (will be sold or stored if impractical at eventual accommodation): - Medium fridge - Electric: Coffee machine, banquet pan, Nutri bullet, Rice cooker - Coffee table (White) I also have a relocation package lump sum that can go towards to a mutually beneficial pieces of furniture (yay gumtree). Further, I have a large (65-inch) smart TV that I could possibly put in the common area if it does not fit in my room. My car is highly practical - able to tow and store large items. I enjoy helping out people with it from time to time to move things or, as my sister calls it, "The Hughber" Thanks for taking the time to read. I hope to hear from you (: Cheers, Hugh
Hey there! I’m Grace and I’ve just recently finished studying an education bachelor. I’m starting a kindergarten teacher role in a few weeks at Truganina, so I need to move to a closer location. I’ve lived in Moorabbin all my life, in a large and inclusive family environment. I’d love to find housemates that can socailise together and get some beers/meals together every now and again. While also respecting and appreciating some solo time. I love going to festivals and have a big passion for traveling. I’ve been given the ‘yes man’ title in my friendship group as I’m up for pretty much anything.

Bright and beautiful townhouse located in Yarraville. Main bedroom with walk-in robe and ensuite available. Take a short 20 minute stroll to the high street, unwind in the courtyard or on your own private balcony. There is also a lock up garage available :)
The house is situated in a quiet pocket of Yarraville. There are two rooms available for $230pw per room but would suit a couple for $450pw. This would give you two rooms, a full bathroom with huge bath and seperate shower, and your own living space. The shared spaces are the laundry (washing machine supplied). The kitchen (I have a fridge but there is room for a second). The out door areas, sizeable backyard which is shared with the dog. Back patio and double carport in front yard. The house is recently renovated weatherboard, with ducted heating, central evaporative air conditioning and ceiling fans in most rooms.
The property is a large 4 bed house, 2 story, with two lounge rooms and two outdoor areas for entertaining. There is a garage for storage and seperate laundry room. Netflix and Stan are included in the rent and i also has a PS4 with lots of games and Wii with the fitness board (which hardly gets used). The house has ducted heating and cooling throughout. We are only 10-15mins drive to the city centre and about 6 stops on the train which is only a 5 min walk away. There are also lots of buses locally to get you where ever you like. We are only 50m from a large green open space for picnics or lazing in the sun, we are also about 10 mins from Williamstown beach or the other side of the bridge to Port Melbourne or St Kilda. Spotswood has some great cafes, a bakery, a pub, and some cool little shops that sell all sorts.
You will be living in a modem 3 bedroom unit with all amenities. The shared spaces include laundry, kitchen and living room with a lovely small rear garden with a fully equipped kitchen, fridge and washing machine. You will have access to your own private unfurnished bedroom with built-in-robes and a bathroom. There are a couple of TVs to watch free to air TV; if you want anything more modern then you can set this up yourself in your room. There is a lovely piano room where you can relax and read, it looks out to a small conservatory area which if you are a gardener you may like to fill with flowering pot plants. Altona North is an older neighbourhood located in the west; which is a quiet, multicultural and family friendly area. It’s sprinkled with small shopping strips as well as the larger shopping centres such as Altona Gate Shopping Centre. It’s also got great cake shops and bakeries. The Williamstown Hospital is the closest hospital. There are excellent public transport options with a bus to Newport railway station but it would be helpful to have your own car to get you around more efficiently. There is a drive way to park your car but no garage access. It’s only a short drive to Williamstown and Altona which are bursting with eateries and beaches. There is a lovely nature walking track at Newport Lakes.

Hi guys, I am looking for a friendly housemate to share my small lovely unit in Yarraville by late-mid of January 2018. The unit features a compact sized kitchen, living area, laundry, one bathroom, a nice courtyard and a garage (currently I use it as storage). There is a temporary parking space in front of the house where the common driveway is, and on street parking available. The house is full of sunlight and each bedroom has a view to the rear courtyard. The unit is on Williamstown road but is tucked at the rear corner of a block of 5 units, away from the road, so it is nice and quiet at night. It is in the trendy Yarraville, 15-minute walk to Yarraville Village and Yarraville Train Station. Next to the freeway and close to public transport, bus stop is just 1 min away. The room is $185pw ($800 per calendar month). Bills are split evenly every month between two of us. If you are interested in the house please contact via the email form with your full name, describe a bit about yourself, any questions you may have, please remember to include your mobile number and email address so I can contact you back. Cheers,
The generous queen or king room in the upper storey allows plenty of light with three windows facing the front of the house. Room measures 311cm by 540 cm, is carpeted and has a built in wardrobe. It is offered as unfurnished but single futon bed and basic room furniture can be made available as a temporary measure if required. Location is perfect for anyone who likes to be surrounded by green spaces, with plenty of parks to enjoy, Newport Lakes being only ten minutes walk. It is also on the quieter end of the main street of Newport but still accessible to the Newport hub of shops, cafes and other local amenities.
I’m looking for someone to fill the second bedroom in this cute spot in Newport 🏡 It’s a 2 bedroom ground floor apartment just 1km from the station. There’s also a bus stop right outside, so it’s super easy to get around. Sweet cafes and shops right near the station with great coffee! The living and kitchen area is all furnished! A bit about you: I’m looking for someone who is neat and tidy, enjoys a Netflix session and has some good books and cafe spots to share!

We have one room available in our share house. The room is at the rear of the house and over looks the garden. It's the smaller room in the house and includes and double bed. This can be moved out if you don't require it. The house has three bedrooms in total and has a nice big backyard. Two women live here in their early and late 30’s. Bronwen; a community welfare worker and part time social work student. Sharleen; Audio technician. Plus Johnny the border collie! Our perfect housemate would be someone who is independent, chill, works or studies full time, able to clean up after themselves without being instructed and help out with maintaining the house and garden. We are accepting of diversity and consider ourselves open minded so we'd like our new housemate to have similar values. Johnny is a 3 year old Border Collie; is a very friendly dog and loves a good cuddle (although initially excited when meeting new friends). Our new housemate would have to be a dog person! Rent is $550 per month including unlimited internet. All other bills are divided evenly. Bond of $550 will also be required. Travelers or anyone looking for short to medium term accomodation also welcome, long term fine too but must be working or studying full time. If our house sounds like your sort of place to live send an email with some information about yourself. Xx Bronwen, Sharleen & Johnny

I'm the co-founder of Acuite, a New Zealand based construction-specific software platform. We are growing and expanding internationally now so I am looking for somewhere to call home where I can base myself to set up our Australian operations. Outside of work the gym & surf missions are therapy - as will be the "business" trips back to NZ that will get strung out by a few days so I can get back to the beach to go diving, more surfing along with a spot of fishing.
Currently working for the public service and am a shift worker. I’d say I’m pretty clean and chilled, tend to do my own thing but keen to live with someone who doesn’t mind going for a drink or two on the weekends! Can only commit up to 12 months for now but the potential for a longer stay.
Hi, I am a singer, teacher and mental health worker. I train in Reggaeton (a latin dance style) twice a week, have a weekly gig, where I play guitar and sing, and ideally - if it's the right space, could teach singing from home (but that depends on the space). I like to have my own space, but also like to chat sometimes. I enjoy so many things, and am generally upbeat, and like to be around others with a positive outlook too (we all have our days!) I am with my cat, Sacha, who is older now, and super friendly. She's part Bengal which means she's very soft, has lovely leopard spots and likes a good chat (and pat). I am flexible with the date I can start, preferably from the end of January.
I just finished my bachelors degree and I am taking a year off to work. I am originally from the UK and I enjoy playing games and taking my dog out for walks. I am currently working casually and looking for a second part time job. I have a very well behaved dog called Morris and I am happy to bring him along to an inspection.
My name is Matt, i'm 49, I work full time in administration in the CBD, I have 2 children aged 11 and 18. My 11yo will stay with me one weekend of each fortnight, my eldest son will visit occasionally. I am mature, responsible, easygoing, clean. I prefer doing housework to gardening but will do both if required. I am looking for a place that is suitable for my youngest son to visit and stay every second weekend. I enjoy music, reading, movies, sport and am a quiet housemate. I am happy to rent a room or a one or two bedroom dwelling; I can afford up to $300 per week for a dwelling of my own, and will assess share houses on their merits.

As far as sharing accommodations go, I value cleanliness and mutual respect between housemates :) I'm a pretty chill person and enjoy coffee, music, movies, anime, working out, and great conversations.
