Hey I'm Amy! I'm 23 and am moving to melb (from Townsville) to start my career as an electrical engineer. I am tidy, and on the rare occasion I actually love cleaning. My hobbies are photography and pole fitness and I try to make it to gym as well. My values pretty much make me a leftie /feminist but like to remain open to most arguments. In general I'd say I'm an introvert and would be fine barely seeing anyone around the house, but I do enjoy hanging out with people and don't have many friends in in Melbourne yet so would probably jump at the opportunity to be social.
Looking to get a place early April in the areas listed above. Hoping to find a housemate to team up with. We will be able to furnish the place. Both full time professionals who keep pretty busy through out the week. Looking to acquire a 3 bedroom place to live in
Hi, I am renting out rooms in a grand old family home which is close to "Newport Lakes" and public transport. Rooms are partially furnished and all kitchenware, utensils are provided- you can bring your own bed if you wish. I have 2 rooms available that are partly furnished. Extra storage for clothing is available and a room is set aside as a store room if you have personal effects that won’t fit in your room. Rent is only $150 per week and the house is close to the CBD and to public transport. The gas heating bill is split between the tenants which should add no more than $25 to $30 per week to the rent in the colder months. Both of my tenants have just left for different reasons so my house is now empty except for me. I stay in the house on and off, I am not there all the time, I split my time between this house and a house in Geelong. There is a $300 security deposit to pay on moving in. If you think you come up to my standards, which I don't think are high (I just want a normal person), then give me a call, send a text to my mobile number or send a message to the inbox for this website. Chris

Hi everyone; We have one room available in our share house. The room is at the rear of the house and over looks the garden. It's the smaller room in the house and includes a free standing wardrobe and double bed. These items can be moved out if you don't require them. The house has three bedrooms in total and has a nice big backyard. My name is Bronwen; I'm community welfare worker and I also study part time completing my bachelor in social work. I have progressive world views and have a beautiful dog called Johnny who lives with me. Shelly who also lives here is runs her own cafe in Brunswick. We're both in our early 30's and pretty quiet around the house. Our perfect housemate would be someone who is independent, chill, works or studies full time and is able to clean up after themselves and help out with maintaining the house and garden. We are really accepting of diversity and consider ourselves open minded so we'd like our new housemate to have similar values. Johnny is a 2.5 year old Border Collie; is a very friendly dog and loves a good cuddle (although initially excited when meeting new friends). Our new housemate would have to be a dog person :) Rent is $550 per month including unlimited internet. All other bills are divided evenly. Room is currently available. Travelers or anyone looking for short to medium term accomodation welcome, long term fine too but must be working or studying full time. Room available on the 12th February 2018 If our house sounds like your sort of place to live send an email to tell us a bit about yourself. Xx Bronwen, Shellie & Johnny
The house has all mod cons. It is in a quiet street with heaps of parking. The upstairs has two bedrooms and a nice bathroom. Kitchen is big and is very well equipped. Netflix, bbq etc. House rules I guess-we are looking to rent to a single person, any bf or gf will be charged rent also.
Brilliantly located mere minutes from Newport’s Train and Bus Station, shops, cafe’s, restaurants and the walking and bike paths loved by so many in the area, this refurbished Rooming House is perfect for students needing easy access to Campus, or for singles simply looking for quality accommodation. The six light filled rooms of varying size, and weekly rent are all freshly painted with new flooring, built in or freestanding robes, tv and data points, additional storage in individual rooms and secure entries. The common areas comprise three showers (one shower over a bath) and three toilets, a shared kitchen with an oven and refrigerator. Water usage is included, as is regular cleaning of the common areas. These rooms are available to view immediately.
Im a 25 year old tradie that works roughly 7-4 and keeps very active so out of the house a lot. I’ve lived in share houses since I was 18 so well versed in the cleaning up after myself and being a top housemate. During the week I’m pretty quiet with the occasional dinner but mostly a stiff and on the weekend just trying to explore Melbourne and see anything and everything that pops up from gigs to markets and events. I’m looking for a place start of feb but pretty flexible with a move in date as I don’t need to be out of current place until end of March.
I am just starting off my career in engineering and have to live away from my fiancé for a while. I spend my free time playing games, anything D.I.Y and of course going out for a drink or two with some friends. I love barbeques and anything chilli. I also love watching movies and a range of series. I am neat and tidy and I like putting things back in their place. I am usually up for a talk while also being respectful of everyone's space. I like meeting new people and finding out about things that I have no idea about. Apparently i also like writing in short sentences =]. I am patient, have a good sense of humor and quite open minded. If anything I've said sparks an interest, let me know =]. P.s. - Must have space for pet/pets.
My name's Carolyn 🙂 I’m a 27 year old, full time student at ACU (Currently studying Speech Pathology). I've recently moved out of a full time care position (living in the persons house)... So am looking for something pretty soon. I’m looking for something long-term and a safe place that feels like home. I’m neat, clean, friendly, easy-going. I enjoy BBQs, gig’s, shared TV show watching, films and music. I'm introverted, but like socialising. I can be a little quiet when I'm stressed. I like plants and the outdoors. I'm very much into respecting others and their space/peaceful living. I have a cat called Froot. He’s a Bengal, which means he’s non-allergenic. He lives indoors because he's a bit of a chicken :P I'm a relatively busy person. Definitely, not looking for a party house. I don't smoke or do drugs. I like a scotch every so often with a movie. I'm organised, with a steady income + rent assistance. I volunteer at the Children First Foundation. I'm looking for places with aircon, dishwashers, etc... Something easy to clean. With a small garden if available. I come with my bedroom furnishings, a couch, coffee machine, desk, bookcase, outdoor table that could be dining table, an extensive DVD collection, TV, sound system, plants and am grabbing more house stuff soon. So send me a PM and we'll grab a coffee or something Would be great to hear from you! Anything else you'd like to know feel free to ask 🙂
Hi, I'm Tenisha and I'm looking for a room on the outer suburbs of Melbourne :). I'm 20 and I just finished my Bachelor of music and I have a part time job. I've never had a problem paying rent or bills and I've never paid them late. I do have a 1 year old cat, she's a complete sweetheart but she's really shy. (If I move, Ginny has to move as well, she's like my lungs and I can't live without her 😂) I play my guitar from time to time, enjoy going out with my friends but I'm not a party animal. I enjoy going to the pub for a drink and a meal and socialising with my house mates but do enjoy some alone time as well. If you think I'm the right housemate for you, please don't hesitate to send me a message :)
Hello lovely people of Australia! I hail from the Rocky Mountains in the US where I learned to love the outdoors. If I can see new places, meet new people, and learn about new cultures while maintaining a kind and open minded approach then I'll be content. After finishing my Mechanical Engineering Technology degree at Montana State University I set my sights on "The Land Down Under", the perfect place to pursue the aforementioned goals. I'm approved for a working holiday visa and I've already submitted applications for full time employment in Australia. In a country this size I'm aiming for a more long term, personal feel for the places I travel to, rather than bouncing around randomly. While I am adventurous in the outdoors, no need to worry about any excessive partying, alcoholism, smoking, drugs etc. I am very respectful of other's property, and privacy; and I will seek to ensure the living situation is beneficial for all parties involved. If you'd like to add a touch of class to your living arrangement look no further. Hope to hear from you soon! Trevor
I'm an Australian guy who's very social and easy going. I'm currently looking for roommates with similar interests and social aspects. I'm a pretty active guy who's into sports and keeping active by going to the gym and getting outdoors. I work casually as a bartender and a freelance personal trainer to get through university, so I do like my personal space after long shifts and respect my housemates space and quiet time also. I am tidy with my possessions and clean regularly to ensure I live in a presentable house. Being a university student, I like to socialise over a few beers when I'm not stuck with my head in the books and I'm always down for a party.
We are a fun couple who enjoy meeting new people. We are both recent commerce graduates. We enjoy outdoor sports, like our downtime and are very relaxed! We have relocated to Melbourne from Perth. We both enjoy a drink or two but can just as much enjoy a night watching the bachelor! We are both working part-full time. We are also clean and respectful of personal space which makes us very easy to live with!
I am a current education student who adores good coffee, conversations and finding the unusual, local things to do in an area. I work a few different jobs and get involved in many things including but not limited to a choir, my uni's arts and education society and volunteering at the Substation. This means I am busy but I do love some good chill out time with a movie or a sleep in. I am LGBT+ friendly and love pets- I do sing a lot though so please be song friendly! :) I try my best to be social and do my share in the cleaning too... I like washing dishes better than vacuuming but whatever works.
I am a responsible and reliable 32- year old woman who loves to keep organised and active. Currently I am a post graduate student who is respectful, clean and easy going. I am looking for a private room in a house with those who are genuine, open minded, and honest. I enjoy socialising, sharing a meal together and relaxing over a wine, though equally enjoy my quiet time. I appreciate the arts, nature and diversity. I will be completing a Masters so will be fairly focused. If you feel you may have a suitable place, please make contact to arrange an inspection time.
Hey! I'm a very easy going and chilled out guy from a small town in North Eat Victoria wanting to move down to Melbourne. I currently work as a cleaner and have a history of jobs so getting a new one won't be something to worry too much about. I tend to keep to myself but I've been told I have a nice sense of humour and will always be down for a good conversation. Although I lack in cooking skills I make up for them by enjoying cleaning and don't find it a task at all. I enjoy the casual drink and having a good time with friends while keeping respectful. I will be bringing my large/anxious/incredibly sweet American bulldog with me too, as she is the absolute love of my life! She is a 'sleep in my bed' type of dog but is 100% house trained and will hang out and give you kisses while I'm not home. So honestly the only requirement I have for a housemate is for them to be kind and love her.
