I live with 2 roommates in a lovely, big house in Yarraville, opposite McIvor Reserve. The house is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house. The room for rent is on the upper floor, next to the main bathroom. There is a built in wardrobe in the room! We have set the smallest bedroom up as a study, and the three biggest rooms are the bedrooms. Each roommate has their own bathroom as the master bedroom has an ensuite, the downstairs bedroom has a bathroom and the room for rent is next to the main bathroom. The bathroom has a bath and shower. A large kitchen, dining room and lounge room are downstairs. This house has so much space and is very light and open. The rent per week is $190, it is paid per month, $822 per calendar month. The house is in such a lovely location, next to McIvor Reserve. There is a bus stop just on the end of the street but is only a 15min walk to the station. The house is just off Wembley Avenue where there are lots of great restaurants and a small bakery and grocer. We have a double garage so if you have a car there will be garage parking. The house is already furnished, aside from the bedroom of course! We have a dishwasher, dining table, couches, apple TV, everything! Internet is 20 per month and bills aren't much! Please contact me if you have any questions! I would love to have someone move in within the next month. I’ll be around to show any interested parties around the house to make sure it is what you are looking for. The images are of the house before we moved in with our furniture!

Hello ! My name is Arturo, I am from Argentina, outdoors lover, clmbing, druming and a joiner. I have been living here for one year. Sam (aussie) is a relaxed carpenter who likes bikes and footie. He joined the house about 5 months ago , Guillermina, who has just joined us, is also from Argentina. She is a yoga and aerial acrobatics instructor and very friendly. Since Ninoy, our flatmate is leaving we have a spare room. We are relaxed but tidy, a cleaner comes weekly and we pay 12.5 bucks each and this helps keep everyone happy. The rent is $175 plus bills which divided between 4 is not much. We have internet and the house is furnished, sunny and very confortable. Cheers,
Beautiful stand alone house on a quiet suburban street. Heritage features (if you are in to that! including picture rails, which means you can hang on the walls!!) Clean and tidy, freshly painted walls and renovated kitchen. There is a new second toilet also. **images shown are from when the property was sold, different furniture is in the house now** Heating and cooling, both work perfectly. Wooden floors throughout. HUGE backyard with 2 decks, one covered the other not. BBQ and outdoor furniture available for you to use too. It is currently fully furnished with a bed in the spare room, however happy to discuss if you want to bring anything with you. There is no built in in the bedroom however I have spare hanging racks if you would like to use these. You would need a set of draws, maybe. If you wants draws! Happy also for you to use our other furniture. Kitchen is fully equipped. Would like if you could provide your own bed and bathing linen. Apple TV, Stan and Netflix available if you don't have these. Unlimited internet included in rent. Other bills (Water, Electricity and Gas on top of weekly rent, split 3 ways) We have a beautiful 4 year old dog Mac who is an inside dog, however very chilled out. She is a Siberian Husky and we look after her well. Has a few crazy moments where she runs around but is generally very relaxed and just lies around.
Welcome future housemate! On this page, you will find one of the best places to live in Melbourne. With accessible shops, parks and a bus stop across the road that will take you to shops such as Altona Gate, local cafes and market places then this is definitely the place for you! It is close to gyms as well if you need to have a little workout. So, the house is 6-9mins, bus ride, away from the station or 4 mins away if you wanna drive. 10 mins away from Williamstown beach and Williamstown pier! About the house, it is fully furnished. It has an awesome communal area, laundry room, storage pantries, separate bathroom and toilet room, dining place and a complete kitchen as well. There is a small backyard place where you can chill on a sunny day too! We have high speed and unlimited internet as well which is A-list good! About the room, it is basically a garage (no windows :( ) but has power points and lights as well. It is unfortunately unfurnished but we do have a few stuff for you to use for the time being. It's length is probably enough to fit 5-6 queen beds so it is quite spacious. If you think this place suits you, send me a buzz and we'll discuss more about it or just pop in and check out the place if you're interested! Danielle :)

Hi there, I am a sculptor and writer, who is looking for a new abode. I am a responsible, fairly laid back person who is happy to socialise but also like my own space. I love music, cooking and pottering in the garden (provided there is one). Cheers, Penelope
Hi potential housemate, my names Adam I've moved here permanently from New Zealand, and i work full time in the city. I'm a friendly, respectful and social person but also like relaxing at home. Gold Coast university student who recently moved to Melbourne! I now study Education at Victoria University in Footscray Park. I am looking for an ALL FEMALE household, close to public transportation with no more than 4 residents. I am a tidy housemate, social and friendly. I like animals, nature, video games and movies. I often travel to and from the Gold Coast to visit my boyfriend. I am keen to learn more about the city and explore new places! xx
Sociable, respectable tidy clean pays rent on time. Looking for a place that is walking distance to train station or easy public transprt to CBD
I'm looking for someone who would like to move out with my dog Ruby and I between now and the end of the year. So far I keep to myself in my room due to a lack of a space and people to socialise with. This would probably different in the right place and with the right people. I like to cook. And willing to share a meal or two. While I hate washing up its usually done within two days. I just like a clean sink first. Easy to live with don't care about much. Just don't pee in the backyard. Ruby is a fur monster so if you mind pet hair you won't be happy. She's loveable and friendly. Just keep her away from rubbish, waterbottles, toothbrushes & human food. It's like living with one big furry toddler. Backyard big enough for Ruby. No more than 2 other people.
I am a 60 year old retiree who is very much into fitness as I train 7 days a week at the Ascot Vale Gym...I am a very tidy person who enjoys cooking and a few red wines...I am a non smoker and fairly quiet.I can be contacted
Hi, I'm Luke. I'm a 25 year old male that currently works in the finance department of a telecommunications company in Melbourne, don't judge me on that though. I'm an easy going person who enjoys sharing meals, movies and drinks with housemates however am also respectful that everyone needs their own space. Most weekends I can be found down the surf coast. However on my return to Melbourne I also enjoy good music, good food, good wine and a good night and I am more than willing to indulge in these with my housemates. I am not just looking for a share house, I am looking for a place to call home, a place thats relaxed, a lot of fun and a little bit quirky. If you think I would fit in with your housemates, yourself and your home please do not hesitate to contact me.

Things that excite my soul: nature, unique and fascinating humans, sharing stories over a drink, cooking, cleaning, bubble baths, dancing, reading, red wine, researching, adventures, the beach, Italian food.❤️I'm a pretty calm, relaxed & easy to get along with 22 year old :-)
Imagine living on the edge of a massive park only 4km's from the city...15mins by bicycle, train or car. Professional male, offering 1 room to share in Yarraville. I work part time during the week and run a small (legit) business from the rear of the home, so the front of the house (Lounge, Dining, Bathroom, Kitchen) is effectively yours to share with one other. The other flatmate works full time in social services to support her adopted cat, Kiki. $180 a week covers rent plus $70 a week for utilities (Elec, Gas, Water, NBN) and you get your own room (5.0m x 2.5m) with kahpaye (carpet), built in wardrobes, chest of drawers, unlimited wifi via the NBN, very close to the city, shops, freeways and public transport, with Cruickshank Park at the end of the street. Fully furnished living area with air con and heating includes a TV (we've got a bigger one coming in a couple of weeks) and use of PC, with adjoining dining room and table for more civilised occasions (and winter laundry hanging). Spacious and light kitchen with Smeg gas stove/elec oven, huge fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher and the usual arrray of infrequently used machines and utensils. Separate bathroom and toilet in laundry conveniently positioned in front of the washing machine. Great backyard with covered entertainment area and 4 burner BBQ with low-maintenance, but still lovely, garden. Ample parking (on street). Coles is less than a km away, beyond that is Yarraville Village, laden with cafes, restaurants, bars, beards, the Sun (movie) Theatre, trains, buses, grocers, butchers and a bevy of other things to pique your interest. There's even a KFC, Macca's, HJ's, Subway and 7/11 within a 3km radius. This is a laid back home, we don't live by rosters and generally everyone does their bit to keep the common areas clean and tidy. We look after ourselves with respect for each other and like to share laughter and conversation if the odd wine or beer pays a visit. 2 well-trained dogs provide light entertainment and casual security. They're indoor/outdoor dogs that enjoy the company of flatmates and guests alike. Send me a message with any questions or if you'd like to book a time to come and look at the place.
Central location to beach, city, shops, 3 mins walk to Newport station 2 mins walk to library / cafes. Large backyard for garden enthusiast s herbs growing at present. I'm seeking a dependable, fun at heart, down-to-earth, civilised person to share my 3 bedroom home. Positioned in a peaceful, quiet, wide street, the house has just been fully renovated while still retaining its 1950's period charm, including art deco ceiling cornices. There are freshly polished floorboards in the living areas, but comfy carpet in the bedrooms. I'm only advertising 1 room, as currently I've set up the 3rd bedroom as a study & 2nd sitting room (complete with another large 55" screen TV). The room for rent is west-facing, with a wardrobe, bed, book case, desk & chair, and has a ceiling fan. The house is fully furnished with contemporary furniture, and the Lounge Room is light-filled, has a stunning sandstone mantelpiece, a 55" Large Screen Smart HD LCD TV, a Blue Ray/DVD Player, Foxtel, Netflix. There's also a gorgeous Gas Log Fireplace which warms the whole house. The Gas Log Fireplace really gives the illusion of being an open fire, but without the mess, & the heat it provides is extremely effective. There's also a huge Split System Air Conditioner in the house. There are ceiling fans in each bedroom, & together with the air conditioner it's easy to keep the house comfortable & cool on hot summer days & nights too. There's a separate Kitchen and Dining Area, & the Lounge Room has French Doors opening onto the front verandah which overlooks a lovely lush front lawn. There's also a separate laundry & 2nd loo, and the main Bathroom is brand new & has a bath. The Kitchen is also brand new with Bosch Stainless Steel dishwasher and extra-large, wide, 5 burner Stainless Steel Stove (gas) and large, wide, fan-forced oven. All the kitchen cabinetry is new, complete with soft-closing drawers and cupboards, providing plenty of storage space. There is a covered entertaining area outside at the back of the house, with a large BBQ with hood ; 4 burners, a grill & hotplate. The undercover area is light & bright, leading onto a lovely blue-slate paved courtyard, bordered by a herb garden & large lime, lemon & apple trees flanking the fence (both the lime and lemon trees are laden with fresh fruit - I am always giving bags of lemons and limes away to appreciative friends & family). There's a small garden shed plus a large raised veggie patch. It's a lovely space, easy to maintain, and ideal for entertaining or relaxing & chilling out. I have 2 whippets, who are mother and daughter (named Phoenix and Mynx) who are extremely gentle and friendly, but not boisterous. They love people but are very low maintenance and clean. There are numerous bus stops 2 minutes walk away, with frequent buses. Newport Railway Station and Altona Railway Station are within walking distance too. A little about me: a country girl at heart, I am 46, and work from home as a Professional Writer & Editor. I used to be a Human Resources Manager, so I also provide Industrial Relations advice and Employment & Recruitment services as a Consultant. I love music, comedy, reading, writing, cooking and relaxing with my dogs, or walking them along the beach (did I mention the beach is a few minutes away?) and am always up for good conversation over a glass of wine. I also like going to films, live comedy, live music of a wide variety - although I can sometimes be a bit of a homebody too. By providing such a detailed description of my happy household, I hope I've given you the sense that it's not just a house but a home, a haven & sanctuary - a drama-free and chilled out space. Located in Altona North, bordering Yarraville & Newport, the house is walking distance to Second Avenue shops & deli's, The Circle shops, Altona Gate Shopping Centre, Borrack Square Shopping Centre, and 2 minutes drive to the WestGate Freeway, but also minutes to the beach. It's only 10 kilometres from Melbourne CBD. Rent is $220 per week. I have WiFi too. Bond is $1000 and there's parking right outside the house. If this sounds like a place you could easily call 'home', please get in touch to arrange an opportunity for us to meet & for you to view the house :-) P.S. Free Cleaner every fortnight
