Hi, we are Marion (28) and Matthieu (31) currently on a wholiday visa in Australia till November 2019. We were both living in Cologne (Germany) working for a French car manufacturer before we decided to quit our jobs and go for a little adventure down under 🙂 Marion is French but she travelled a lot during her childhood growing up mainly in New Caledonia and Morocco. She is a thrilled and thrilling person, always smiling, always up for a good adventure, always active. Matthieu grew up in a bicultural family with a French father and German mother. He is passionate about everything he does, loves sports (playing and watching) and is always eager to experiment new things. We have been spending the first months of our stay traveling all along the East Coast from Melbourne to Townsville and enjoying everything the Australian way of life has to offer. We also worked on a cruise ship in the Whitsundays as part of a dive team and took customers out to discover the Great Barrier Reef from under the surface. Now ready to move on to the next chapter of our trip we just found a job in Brisbane and are looking to settle for the rest of our stay.
Hey all! I'm Hannah, I'm looking for a new home with some awesome housemates. I currently work full time in the city as a retail manager, my roster varies from week to week but I am generally at work Monday to Friday between 9 and 6. I can be a fairly social person and I get along with almost anyone, I like catching up with my friends on the weekend and be out and about. But like any normal human I need my own space too and can respect the space of others. I'm house trained I'm a considerate person so you won't have to pick up after me and I know how to pay bills on time. I'm looking for a relaxed vibe at home, I'm partial to a drink every now and then but definitely past my party days.
Unit complex includes a pool, gym, sauna and is secure. The apartment itself is fully furnished (linen, kitchenware, etc.), washing machine, one bathroom, kitchen and living area and private room with built in wardrobe. Rent includes: fast internet, electricity and gas. Great views of the city which is walkable distance (10-15mins), it is also close to woolworths and other shops. There is a free bus called the Spring Hill Loop that runs from 6am-7pm on weekdays, it is located one block away from the unit and goes to the city. NO Smokers or pets * Will not reply to texts
Brisbane local looking to move sometime at the start of next year. Working part time and studying for my undergrad. Good at communicating, usually will keep to myself, but always up for a good chat. Would really love somewhere with a bigger backyard as I love being outside (and potentially being able to garden a little). I have a pet cat, but he is quite old and usually spends all day sleeping in my room, so if you aren't keen on cats he won't be a bother.
Moving to Brisbane so looking to team up with one or two people to get a share house with. I am a clean and easy going girl. I love going to gym, surfing, hiking, golf, chilling out ordering in and I do occasionally hit the town! Ideally looking for roommates that would want to become friends rather than living like strangers. Happy to team up with either guy and girls !
I am 24yr (25 in October) old professional female. I have just moved to Brisbane and looking for a furnished room as I don't have any furniture I just have personal belongings along with my clothes. I work full time in the city monday - friday from about 7am-3pm and I also study full time online. I am looking for somewhere in the city or inner city area. I am always a very bubbly and happy person, i am a bit of a old sole. I get along with nearly everyone I meet, I love to have a conversation but also like my own time.
I am looking for a room in the inner suburbs so im close to the city where I work full time as an Economist. I enjoy going to live music, watching movies, cooking and going to the gym. I am very laid back and easy going. I am also very partial to having a drink and a yarn on a friday arvo. If you think I would be a good fit get in touch!
Hi! I’m Cheryl 😊. I’m from England and am in Australia on a working holiday visa, full time, as an environmental consultant in coastal engineering and flood risk management. For the last 4 months I have been travelling around Asia, New Zealand and the east coast and I’m now looking for somewhere to settle in Brisbane for 3 months or longer, and not live out of a backpack! In my spare time I love socialising with friends and meeting new people, playing sport and going to the gym, walking, baking and watching movies! I am hoping to learn to surf whilst living in Brisbane as my next challenge! I think my friends would describe me as easy going and fun natured! I’m looking for housemates who I can become friends with and are likeminded.
Hey! I’m a student here in australia and looking for an apartment with easy going and friendly nature housemates. Like to socialise on weekends and very clean and tidy. Hoping to get the best place with good people.
