Close to shops, close to transport, and friendly flatmates. Separate living area to relax in. Central heating downstairs. No heating upstairs - but heat rise, so we don't feel the cold. One bathroom with shower, toilet and bath downstairs and another toilet upstairs. Included in rent is Optus NBN (wifi) and Optus Entertainment package including Sports. We just installed a dishwasher from gumtree -- but sort of works ---- needs a service. (in progress to get it fixed) Washing machine and dryer are coming soon. There is a laundry place just up the road, so you don't need to hand wash anything. There's maccs, dolminos pizza, and other restaurants down the road -- so it's a great location. Of course, we have cooking facilities, so you always cook your own.
I tend to think of myself as a one-man wolf pack. But when my sister and my previous roommate both got 'fancy' new jobs outside of the pack area, I knew it was time to find some of my own. I know you're reading this, thinking "Wait a second, could it be?" - it is, this is your opportunity to add one more to the wolf pack... If the combination of pictures and satire haven't sold you already, yes - it is true, you can catch rare Pokemon in the park next door, (won't somebody PLEASE think of the Children?) and yes, Francis Abbott did once view the property... curse you AFP! Additionally, you'd get access to an amazing park as a backyard, a short, 2min walk to Surrey Hills train station in Zone 1, a newly renovated kitchen and living area, a Grand Piano for the musically inclined, a Table Tennis Table AND not to mention sweet access to the Wolf Pack for up to and including but not limited to 6 months. Would love to find someone who's easy going and in general laid back but also willing to help out with the basic house hold chores.. perhaps even without being asked *gasp*! Also most things are shared within the house and we like to put in a few extra dollars to obtain few of the 'finer' things life has to offer - think 3-ply toilet paper. There's never any drama in the house, and I don't mind if you're talkative and social and want to share a beer, some music and sun or if you're the quieter type and prefer to hang in your room - as long as you're cool and doing you're part to keep the place up and running and neat and tidy, we're cool! Features: - BBQ - Table Tennis Table - Grand Piano - Outdoor Area - Nextdoor to pristine Surrey Gardens - 2 Min walk to Surrey Hills Station - Dishwasher Washing Machine - Gas Cooking - Can provide furnishing if required - Carpeted - Inbuilt Wardrobe - Dimensions 270cm x 410cm
Hello! Full time receptionist at a health club in the cbd. We're tidy, we tend to keep to ourselves but also like a good chat with the housemates we live with, we like to garden and grow our own food, Gavin likes to do things around the house which makes him a good handy man anywhere, we're both pretty easy to get along with. I volunteer with animals at the RSPCA in Burwood East, and soon to be volunteering once a week with the Salvation Army in helping the homeless through night watch. We're both a bit quirky and love creating things, I paint and draw, and gavin creates things out of anything he gets his hands on. gavin is studying horticulture and works in gardening on his extra days. We do eat more towards a vegan diet, (we don't mind if you don't). (We are looking for a large bedroom)

Looking to 'teamup' and find a place in Surrey Hills, Mont Albert, Camberwell or Hawthorn. Hi! I'm Mitch. I'm looking for a relatively longer arrangement. 6-12 months or longer. I'm single, non smoker, and have no pets. I work 9-5 for a small private health insurance company. My interests outside of work include seeing live music, enjoying a beverage or two with friends and family. I spend a fair few weekends hanging out with my family in country Vic too. I keep my living spaces clean and tidy. I'm happy cooking my own meals or sharing meals with people. I do sometimes go for the convenience of eating out or getting lite and easy delivered weekly. I'm really sociable but also like my own space. I'm all about home being free of confrontation and stress. I've lived in a really big apartment for 5 years, so I'd like to live in a similar place. Somewhere new/renovated and clean with lots of light and lots of space. Looking for 2 or 3 bedroom apartments/houses/townhouses. I don't have a preference as to living with males or females. I'm also open to getting together a group of 2 or 3, and looking at some apartments/houses/townhouses. Send me a message if you're interested! Cheers, Mitch :)
Currently studying at Deakin completing my first trimester in Food Science, I'm hoping to look for a full-time job and defer my studies. I'm a vegetarian, I cook and clean after myself. I keep to myself but I can be fairly sociable on my good days! You'll probably see me for half a week and I'll disappear for the other half, I usually stay at my boyfriend's through out the week and go back over to the west to see my parent's on the weekend. My boyfriend may also stay over some nights. Hoping to find a warm, homely place so please send a message if you think I'll be a good fit in your house!
Hey everyone, My name's Tom, I'm 32 years old and I've been living in a share house with three other housemates for over five years and am looking for a new place in the same or surrounding areas. I'm reliable in keeping up with house cleaning and also paying the rent and bills on time. Being relaxed and easy going at home is my thing. I'm happy to have a chat and a laugh after work, but I also respect if you want to do your own thing. Working full-time in the city keeps me busy during the day and going to the gym keeps me busy every other night. Cooking and talking movies and pop culture are my favourite past times. I'd be a great candidate for trivia nights! I'll bring a vacuum cleaner to share and I have a large fridge that is less than a year old and easily caters for up to four housemates, so I'm happy to bring it along or sell the fridge to my current housemates. I'm looking to live with friendly, easy going and like-minded people.
My name is Tahlia, I'm 18 and I'm looking at leaving home (finally!) A little about me, I graduated high school in 2016 and am currently studying an Associate Degree Of Arts at Deakin University Burwood, majoring in Media and Public Relations. I am a music fanatic! I love going to concerts and going out in general. I look forward to making new friends, although I can be a little shy at first. I love to cook! As a roommate, I am tidy, fun, down-to-earth, kind, supportive, a great listener, I little introverted but extroverted when I want to be. and most of all, I accept boundaries and respect other peoples opinions, morals and values. I also do not judge and try to keep an open mind as much as humanly possible in today's day and age! I look forward to hearing from you!

I'm a full time Mechanic at BMW, my love is cars and working on them. Happy to live with all people who would be happy to live with me. I'm quite busy outside of work so I'm not always at home. Hi! I am a 27 yr old from India. I am going to start studying for Masters in Swinburne University starting in July. I am looking for a room to rent. I am an easy going guy who minds his own business. I am extremely neat (i wouldn't say a clean freak, but close enough). I am non-smoker and drink only socially. I enjoy a night out once in a while but am mostly a quiet and homely guy. I enjoy watching movies and keep trying at my life long pursuit of being a voracious reader (i will get there someday). I am a big foodie and love sports! I will be mostly dividing my time between University and a part time job ( i plan to get one as soon as i am in Melbourne) I want to find a simple accommodation with all the basics amenities covered. I prefer to stay as close to my University as possible. Look forward to meeting you! :)
I am a full time uni student at Deakin University studying my Masters degree, and I work part time. I love sport and live a fairly healthy lifestyle. I enjoy getting outdoors when I can and going on adventures and exploring new areas. I enjoy cooking and food in general. I am a focused on my studies and definitely not a crazy party person, although I don't mind some good banter and the occasional social outing! I'm tidy and respectful of others, and I understand the concept of personal space. I'm looking for a comfortable place to stay, that is clean and inviting, where everyone takes some responsibility for the house!

I am a 68 yr old male seeking a place of stay (room in house, share/house etc) in Melbourne for at least two months initially with the possibility of a permanent arrangement if suited. I am based in NZ but I regularly travel to Melbourne, hence the need of a place I can call my 'Melbourne home' and a place to touch down when I am there. I am tidy, reliable, good help around the house, have a sense of humor, and very easy to get along with. I can supply excellent references. I don't snore, fall out of bed, or make strange noises in the middle of the night (or at least I don't think I do). I would prefer a quieter place occupied by only one or two working person/s preferably straight, and a place handy to public transport into the CBD - say a maximum of 30 minutes by public transport. I mostly do my own thing with meals but also don't mind a get-together meal. I make woodworking projects (not at the property) and write about them for my website. That is my fun job and my hobby. Rent is negotiable, however it would be nice if the rent could reflect the fact that I will be away for most of the time after the initial two month. Say up to $160 per week. It would be a place I could call home while I am in Melbourne and would be my Melbourne address.
I've lived out of home since I was 17(so I know my way around household relationships.) I'm a bit of a neat freak, but keep it to my own space (not to brag but I make my bed in the mornings). I help manage a small restaurant near camberwell station and try to exercise once if not twice every day, then come home and play games so really it's the best of both worlds with me! Originally from canberra I hope to join the Melbourne police force in the future, but for now an happy in my little cafe. That's about me in a nutshell, give me a shot and you will find I'm very easy to live with. Low key. If the house has a pet I could play with it would be a big plus.
Both of us are not native Australian, but we are happy to start calling Melbourne as home. We are mixed couple from Indonesia and Russia. Both calm and busy growing our careers
Hi guys! My name is Vivek Vyas. I'm from India. I moved to Melbourne two months ago. I did my high school and bachelors in Perth. I'm currently doing Professional Year in Engineering at Monash College. I'm a social and outgoing person who loves to talk to people. I've lived in Australia for about 7 years now so I've lived with different housemates and I never had any issues with anyone so far. I like to maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness in the house so none of you would face that problem (I know everyone hates that lazy guy). I like to play squash and travel to places around for weekend hikes. I enjoy a drink or two sometimes when I hang out with friends but I'm not a party animal. I'm not a smoker either. If you happen to have a pet, I'm pet friendly. I have a dog back home and I just love him. Just looking for housemates who are easy going, friendly and respect each other's privacy. Thank you!
