I'm Darcey, 29, originally from the country town of Broken Hill, NSW. I currently work full-time with Samsung and am looking to move closer to the office to save time commuting. I am well versed in share house etiquette having lived in share houses since moving out of home. So while getting to know each other is important it's equally as important that we have our own time to relax, unwind and do our own thing. I'm quite a relaxed kind of guy, uneasily offended, enjoys a good laugh and rather than partying on the weekend would prefer a quiet environment to rejuvenate, maybe head to the gym (a new found hobby), catch up with housemates and cook. I'm a great cook! Every now and then I do enjoy a good outdoor activity like hiking so a housemate who also loves to get outside and see what nature has to offer is a definite plus (I'm trekking Everest Base Camp at the end of the year so I'm kind of in training) Moving with me will be Noah, a 4-year-old British Shorthair (cat). He can be shy at first but quickly warms up to others. Quite the independent character, entertaining himself and napping away the day. He is completely house trained and is an indoor cat. He has lived with other pets before, both a cat and dog, so he does get along with other animals. Ideally, you'll have lived with a cat before so you understand how they think. When it comes to cleanliness, I'm a 'clean as I go' person, mess is one thing I'd prefer to live without, especially when it can be cleaned up in a few minutes. Ultimately I take great pride in my home. I am looking for a spacious home, with lots of natural light. and with quite a modern finish. If you need help furnishing your place or would like to upgrade some of your stuff I can also help out with that.
