    $260/week31 year old woman

I’m from Korea and will be staying in Melbourne for one year on a working holiday visa. I’ll be arriving in November and I’ve joined Flatmates to find a place to stay. I don’t smoke and I’m not a fan of drinking. I’m not into loud conversations or parties, and I don’t talk on the phone all day. If any friends or family visit me, I’ll make sure to get your permission first. I’m a calm and tidy person. I'm also bright and positive.😆 The space I live in is always kept clean and organized. I will keep your home clean and treat it as if it were my own. I value following rules very much. Since I also value good manners, I’d really appreciate having housemates who think the same way. For example, not being too loud at night, and avoiding cooking or running the washing machine too early in the morning or too late at night. And don’t worry—I won’t scratch your frying pan or damage your furniture!😆 When I first arrive in Melbourne, I plan to take walks around the neighborhood to get used to the area. Once I find a job, I plan to work full-time. On my days off, I enjoy watching Netflix, visiting cute cafes, reading a book, or taking naps. I respect the personal time of my housemates and landlord. If you like Korea or want to learn Korean, I’d be happy to help you. I also hope you don’t mind me cooking Korean food. I’m really hoping to find a great place to stay. Thank you in advance!😊

    $500/week23 year old non-binary

Hey! I'm Beth, 23, AFAB been living independently for 7 years Some people call me a maximalist, but ask anyone else? I just like my things , I've lived in Adelaide, Agnes Water, Bundaberg, St Andrews Beach, Dromana, Dandenong, and Mount Waverley. Originally grew up on the Mornington Peninsula. I was out of home for 5 years before and throughout COVID. I was supported on Centrelink's Youth Allowance at the highest possible rate As I was out of state and did not have familiar contact. I lived in multiple shared situations with housemates from all walks of life. I was the head tenant at a Youth Sharehouse in Bundaberg in 2019, paying $175pw for 7 months before relocating back to Melbourne (just in time for COVID) Luckily, I landed a hospitality internship through my job pathway provider just before the lockdowns in 2020. I worked in food service as an essential worker through to 2021. I was boarding/couch surfing with my distant relatives I had on the peninsula, before finding other shared situations to live comfortably in. I returned home in 2022 after finding the housing situation difficult and having no concrete rental history with a real estate. I took some of my savings from COVID aside and purchased myself a small caravan that had one previous owner before being restored for The Block show a few years back. I am unlicensed, simply for the fact I didn't exactly have to opportunity to have regular lessons, although I do hold a learner's permit, and am very keen to drive with someone willing to teach! At the moment, I am in survival mode, so hobbies are at an all-time low, but when stability and comfort are up I enjoy gaming, music, film, and just chatting shit over a smoke n beer, I am a little apprehensive to nicotine as of recent simply because it is dangerously unaffordable, although, throughout my life and travels I have grown quite 420 friendly and have been consuming it medicinally rather than recreationally for around 3 years now. I am extremely lightweight, so you never need to worry about the grog with me. Summertime, I enjoy a good beer or two, and in Winter, I love whipping out dark liquors to warm me up or even a nice hot toddy. That said, my tastes are more attuned to culinary delights and sweet beverages. You'll always find me sipping on something overly sweet or caffeinated, anything I can whip up with any type of milk, instant coffee, and sweetener is my go-to! Hospitality is a hell of a business, and I won't say I love working in service, but the food is something I like to stay close to! Oh Pets!!! I have a small 3-year-old Holland Lop, A bunny rabbit!!! He is crate-trained and absolutely adores his cage when it's adorned with all his favourite fresh food. I keep his enclosure clean, and if you have a green waste bin that you're not using, you can bet I'll be making use of it! Compost is king.
