Summer in sunny Thornbury house. We are looking for a couple for our house! For a sublet from 1st of December until 19th of Jan. (7 weeks exactly but date can be flexible!) We are a 3 bedroom house in Thornbury, just over the Northcote border and on the St George’s side. About the house: Your room would be the biggest room of the house, at the front with large windows. The sublet amount would be $2,275 which equates to $325 a week. It will absolutely be the coolest of all the rooms over summer and will be empty when you arrive. (I can arrange a queen bed if needed) Washing machine and dryer with the ol’ separate toilet which we love and large sunlit living room that backs on to our decent sized backyard. We have a producing and cared for veggie garden which will be all yours to eat, as well as compost that we would love you to be aware of! Outside tables and a fire pit are also bonuses for the summer season. We have a few friends in walking distance so there might be people popping over to grab the mower or have a cuppa or a meal, always room for everyone but it is a welcoming place. Location Lewis St Thornbury, just a street away from the oval, a 5 min walk to Merri Creek, 5 min walk to the 11 which the couple that are in the room now do every morn, 10-15 walk to the 6/1 on Nicholson. Bike to Ceres in like 6 mins. Bike to Thornbury station in 4 min. Psarakos in 4 min too.
I'm 27 years old, just about to finish my music business degree, and currently work in a bar and for a digital distribution company. I love music and footy (AFL), and when I'm not busy I try to get to as many gigs and games as possible. I'm pretty easy going and I like to have my own space, but I am looking for a house where I feel comfortable and get along well with/can socialise with my housemates as well. I'm clean and tidy, friendly and always respectful of other people. That's all I really ask for in my housemates as well. I'm looking to move after the 10th of December, and I don't have my car in Melbourne so I'm after a house that is close to public transport. Preferably a place without pets due to allergies - most dogs are probably worth it but definitely no to cats.

Relocating to Melbs from Adelaide for a new job. I am looking for a place to stay until my boyfriend moves in Feb and we find our own place. I am used to communal living. Up for a chat and hangout or will give you your or own space.
Available between 1st and 15th December 2019. The room fits a queen size bed, small desk and bookshelf or bed side table comfortably, but not too much else. It has a (west facing) window which looks out onto the back garden. The room will be quite warm over the hotter months, but for this reason it has its own split system (AC/Heating) in the room. As well as a built-in robe, there is extra storage available to the new room inhabitant with an additional cupboard located just outside the door. The room is upstairs (one flight of stairs) and is situated next to the bathroom. Although we are conscious of noise, the room may not be the best fit for you if you have a high sensitivity to noise. The renovated townhouse is equipped with homey living and dining spaces, a shiny kitchen with dishwasher and gas stove, separate laundry room, two toilets, and a courtyard with potential to be a herb and flower garden. There is also a communal front courtyard which is shared with our neighbours. You would be living with 2 other people, Ash and Stef, and one affectionate kitty. We are a 4 minute walk to Aldi and Woolworths, 6 minutes to High Street and its attendant restaurants/shops/trams, and a 13ish minute walk to Thornbury Station. The bills are for internet, gas and electricity (but not water!).
I'm Lily. I'm from Newcastle, NSW and have been here in Melbourne for 3 years. I currently work for myself as a Freelance Illustrator and Dog Walker. I also do a lot of house sitting and for the last 6 months I have been house sitting full-time so I'm ready to have my own space again! I'm looking for a relaxed home environment that is clean and tidy. I don't have a preference for who I am sharing with but it would be nice to meet some like-minded people that I can hang with as well as be respectful of each others space. I enjoy day trips away and going to the beach. I do lots of cooking and would be happy to do communal meals. I like to stay active so I walk A LOT, do yoga/pilates and other activities such as futsal. I like to think I'm easy-going and very considerate. I'm a good communicator and like to be organised. I also find cleaning very satisfying so consider me a tidy house mate!
I work in a high secured psychiatric hospital, as a People & Culture and Learning and Development Administrator as well as Reception. I have a new found love for Jiu Jitsu. I enjoy having a few drinks and a good laugh. I work Mondays to Fridays and train 4 days a week and spend Saturday mornings catching up on sleep! I am currently living with my parents in Reservoir, and ready to move out!

Hi, I`m Bia, Brazilian, been living in Melbourne for the last two years working full time in hospo and planning to start uni next year. I’m very easy going, most part of weekdays I’m out but on my days off I love to hang out with friends, going out for a drink or a morning brunch on a lazy Sunday. I’m also trying to push myself to exercise a bit more and the occasional running ... Im very responsible with rent and house chores, not looking for a house but a place where I can call home, looking for something nearby my work and school. If you feel like we would get along I would love to come for an inspection and have a chat. Cheers, Beatriz
Friendly, tidy and respectful of privacy. Finished up my degree recently and currently working full time until I go back and complete a JD. Generally quiet but I do open up after getting to know people. Enjoy a variety of things from soccer to video/board games. Always jumping between hobbies and things to keep me occupied so not afraid to try something new.
** move in date late DEC to JAN but flexible for the right fit** Footscray, Ascot Vale, Kensington, Flemington, Moonee, Essendon, Pascoe Vale, Coburg, Preston, Brunswick, Thornbury, Fitzroy are all easily accessible to my full-time job so I won’t stray from these areas. After living alone for the past year i’m excited to jump back into sharehousing! I’m positive, light-hearted and i’m all about making the day brighter. I’ve got a multitude of interchanging hobbies that i’m always chasing down but what never changes is my love for cooking, music, tending to plants, writing, reading and, above all, the simple pleasure of enjoying a cold beer at the end of the day. I’m environmentally and socially conscious/considerate and would appreciate living in a household where others are aware of their individual impact on the world and people around them. This of course is not an essential thing but just so you know what tangent i’m riding. I enjoy cleaning as part of a routine and I know how to look after myself. I’m really not the type of housemate whos gonna get reproachful if I have to wash someone else’s dishes that were left in the sink. I don’t mind helpin’ out. IMPORTANTLY I’ve got a big sweetie named Pocket (cattledog X lab) who’ll only be with me ~part time~ cus my mate and I like to take turns in helping him live his best life so we share custody. He doesn’t have annoying hang ups; he’s receptive, obedient, funky, a huge character, does NOT destroy things and gets along well with dogs, cats, birds, horses and mice. Pocket is great, trust me you’re gonna love him. If you’re ready to take on this gal, her pooch, can do attitude, a heavy collection of unlabelled spices and the greatest books I’ve had the chance to read (which you’re undoubtedly always welcome to) hit me up! I’m keen to meet you!
