Professional female working in the communications and marketing, looking to find a cheaper place than my current unit. I have a great sense of humour (quirky), fairly neat and tidy sort of person, good with money and enjoy films, books, and art and culture around Melbourne. Can also cook! Would like to share with a similar sort of professional female/s, not really into the party scene any more but wouldn't pass on a good night of wine etc. every now and again, and am dog friendly too (allergic to cats unfortunately). Like my own space, including cooking etc., but also would like to share with someone friendly to catch up on the week/day :-) I have a large-ish queen sized bed and matching sides and tallboy so would need slightly larger room rather than smaller. Possibly 3m x 3.5m ish. Would also need broadband internet or availability at least for computing, Tv etc.
Hi my friend: I just bought this brand new townhouse on Normanby Avenue, which is only 2 min walk to the Tram 11, and a short distance to train station. Downstairs there is only your bedroom and laundry, you will have your own ensuite. And the kitchen and other bedroom are all upstairs. So its quite private. Everything is brand new. Would be very enjoyable for you I guarantee. What a great present for you during the Christmas to live in a new private house with your own ensuite. Looking forward to sharing this fabulous living place with you soon. With kindest regards, June P.S. I won't have the keys till the 16th of Dec if the vendor can finish the paper work as scheduled, photos are from real estate agent.

I'm friendly to pets ( except spider or snake ). I also hope that you are LGBT friendly. I'm from China. I have 4 years share house experience in Melbourne. 🤓I'm a easy going man and not a party animal. I don't drug or smoke. I always keep my room clean or tidy. Btw, I'm good on cooking. Sometimes I will keep quiet stay in my room or hang out with friends. Hi everyone! Sadly my lease is ending and i need to find a new home and new housemates by the 10th December! I am 22, work full time at a hospital and obviously, pretty terrible at about me's. I've rewritten this whole thing 4 times but my internet keeps crashing, so i am going to give up. Until i find some more energy to write this again. I like going for walks and i really like puppies. I also like good conversations but i am asleep most of the time unless it's festival time. On top with rent/bills/cleaning i promise. Message me!!!!
I'm Canadian on a working holiday visa in Australia for a year! I love being busy so truthfully, I won't be home too much. And when I'm home, I'm usually sleeping, listening to music, or watching Netflix! I love music and work in the industry, so shows and concerts is where I'm usually at! Living with me would be easy-- I'm nice, clean and fun, but also laid back at the same time!
Hey team So I've been living the dream over in Canada for the past two years. Doing a bunch of cool things like skiing, horse riding, travelling around, drinking etc etc. I'm studying Youth Work full time next year at RMIT so looking for somewhere to rest my head every night. I will most likely be working as well cause I'll need to afford life. I haven't got a job yet- but I'm not worried About that just yet- I'm a decent waitress so the right job will probably present itself. I'm 25 (26 in Jan 😫) I've been waitressing, travelling and ski instructing around the world since I left high school and now keen for something new. The music scene/ creative and chill vibe of Melbourne has definitely attracted me to this city. I'm down to earth, social, very much into gigs and live music- music in general and being around people but also love my down time and respect people's personal space. I've been living in staff housing and share houses throughout my travels so I totally respect different lifestyles, living arrangements, personal boundaries and the big one... being tidy 🙂 I've also been known to have killer dance moves and I can show you my ways if you would like. I'm actually from Coffs Harbour and not looking at moving down until January some time (pretty flexi) but thought I'd get the word out and see if something might present itself. I will fly back down early/mid Jan to have a look at places and meet people if that suits as well. I have references as well if my blurb didn't satisfy you at all!!! Thanks so much!!! Look forward to hearing from some people! Aimee
Small two bedroom flat to available. The common areas are fully furnished with a big TV. Your room has built in robes. The place is in a fantastic spot to live, five minute walk to Thornbury train station, and the 86 tram is pretty much on our doorstep. Great local cafes to hang out and grab some yummy brekkie or a great coffee. Best of all, the place stays cool for about 2 or 3 days in a heat wave (i'm talking 40 degrees) :) Females of a similar age preferred, no couples Fellow friendly introverts strongly encouraged to get in touch :)
A spacious two bedroom, newly renovated light filled townhouse located on Gooch Street (lols). The bedrooms are very generous with built in robes, separate toilet and bathroom, large open kitchen and living area, and a cute little courtyard out back – enough room for a small herb garden if that’s what you’re into. I have furnished the place pretty well, but still missing a few bits and bobs – you would need to furnish your bedroom and we could collaborate on anything else we needed. If you have a small dining room table that would be awesome! I have a gorgeous ragdoll cat who will live with me sometimes, and with my sister sometimes. The place is right near buses 251 and 552 on Victoria Street, 15 min walk to Thornbury station and 10 min walk to the 86 tram on High Street. It is close by to Northcote Aquatic Centre and Northcote Plaza. Included in the rent is unlimited internet, water and a secure garage car spot if you want it. Electricity and gas to be split evenly between the both of us. Plenty of storage around the place!

Currently looking for part time work as I want to go back and study (Diploma in Counselling). Generally get along with everyone, like being around people but also like my quiet time too. 😊

Large (approx 28m square) private room suitable for a couple in a surprisingly spacious cottage with large backyard in Thornbury. The room is available for 2 months and can come furnished (queen mattress, clothes hanger, shelf and bedside table). It has a big window looking into the front garden. $300 per week, $320 including bills and internet. Short term welcome. 1 room available in a 2 bedroom Victorian house at Thornbury/Northcote border (2 seconds off High Street/86 tram and a 10min walk to Croxton Station). Hardwood floors in every room, high ceilings and located on a beautiful tree lined street with loads of on street parking. Right around the corner from loads of great cafes and bars like Brother Alec, Short Round and Trumpy. Bedroom has a huge window with loads of light and can come with a bed if you are willing to purchase it off the previous housemate. I have advertised the place as max 4 months but there is a good chance of the lease being renewed in April. No pets unfortunately.
Hey everyone, I'm Nick and I'm a sociable, well traveled guy who loves nothing more than to meet new people and share stories of good times. I'm a travel agent , I work set shifts between 6.30am -11pm on any given day of the week. I love sports, "trying" to cook, dinners with friends (at home or out) and just socialising in general. I do enjoy the odd beer or wine but my bender days are most definitely over so if you live in a place that is the place for after parties, I'm not your guy. I'm a clean and tidy bloke that's looking for a nice place to call home.
This a new townhouse in a popular part of Thornbury with great transport links. It's the last in a row of 4 townhouses so has great privacy. The house has new appliances, a seperate additional toilet, large bedrooms, plenty of space and a fabulous courtyard/deck! The house (minus your room) will be largely furnished, but there are still some items I need, so it's a bonus if you come with a fridge or washing machine! I take possession on the 21st December but will be off to NZ for a Christmas break so won't be setting the house up properly until the 2 Jan. I am around to meet potential housemates until 22 Dec but can only do viewings of the house itself on either the 22 Dec or when I get back in Jan. *Please note the photos are from the property manager but the house will look just as fab I promise!
Hi I'm Andy, working full time at a fun tech company in the city. I like to work hard and keep my head down during the week, but of course love the freedom of the weekend. I like finding new cafes (although I never stray from my favourite!), good music, gigs and in my downtime a good book to read. I'm neat, tidy, responsible (for the most part) and looking for similar flatmates to live with.
I am easy going, work full time, cook, cyclist, I keep it quiet. I am looking for a private room and private bathroom. I am also looking for a parking spot/garage. Cheers.
Hey, I'm Megan and I'm 24. I work as a Nurse and Midwife. I'm in to health and fitness and enjoy going out for food and drinks. I'm an easy going and friendly person. I'm clean and tidy and always clean up after myself. I love to socialise but still like to have my own space.
HI guys! I 'm Elisa, a 27 yo Italian and emphatic girl. I 'm going to spend my Second WHV in Australia, from December 2016: indeed I'm planning to stay in the wonderful city of Melbourne (Where I've already got hips of friends, happy to introduce 'em to my flatmates) at least for 4-5 moths. I will start soon an University Short Course in RMIT as well, so I definitely need to find my place in this City. I consider myself a calm, ordinate and clean person, but always ready to share. I simply looove to cook, and I would be more than happy to hang out and create a positive environment and relationship with my flatmates.
Hi there! I'm looking to create a cosy share house in Brunswick/Northcote/Thornbury etc but also branching out to some of the leafier Northern suburbs such as Ivanhoe, Heidelberg, Rosanna, Watsonia, etc. A little bit about me: I'm in my 20s in my final semester of my undergrad degree at La Trobe, majoring in Anthropology and English. I spend my time hunting out new vegan brunch spots, sipping cups of chai tea and hanging out with friends. I work as a nanny for several families in the inner North and work in mental health advocacy/policy which sometimes takes me up to Sydney for the day. I'm a feminist, queer friendly and environmentally conscious, so if these are values that you relate to/respect/are interested in, that would be excellent! I'm a clean person and considerate of shared spaces. I enjoy a chat in between life's up and downs but also need time out to unwind (doesn't everyone?). I have an extensive collection of homewares (enough to furnish a whole kitchen) but very little major furniture such as a fridge, dining table etc. so if that's something you could contribute, let me know! Zara :~)
I am a great housemate! Tidy, respectful, friendly and love to cook. I come with a Cocker Spaniel named Dougall who is fully trained. He just lost his sister and is very attached to me but loves people. I am looking to share with down to earth, busy people or a person. I love to socialise but also like my own down-time as I am in the process of writing a book about my juicy life so far. Lol. Hope to hear from you.
Hey guys, my name is Julia. I just moved to the big smoke from the lovely Gold Coast thismorning. I have always wanted to live in Melbourne and now I am here! Life is good. I am looking for a room in north Melbourne, no further than Coburg. I'm cool with a big house with lots of rooms or somewhere small. I have a cat named Sage. She's an inside girl, low energy and is desexed and twelve years old. She spends most of her time sleeping. I'd love for her to feel safe and at home where we go. I'm an artist who is looking forward to all of the creative opportunities Melbourne has to offer. I'm not a 9-5er. Hit me a message because my hearing is crap (ish). I am super friendly, relaxed, accepting, open minded and LGBT friendly. It could be rad. 😊
Hi! I'm looking for a sharehouse in Northcote/Fitzroy North and surrounds, ideally from late December-early January (when my current lease ends). I will be working full time as a junior doctor, so will be busy a lot next year but would love a happy relaxed house to come home to, with housies who are up for a chat and a shared dinner now and then. I am neat, I swim and play tennis, I love wine and cheese and coffee and brunch, and I do some work for a charity in my spare time. Let me know if I sound like a good fit!
Small room to let for short term from 11th Dec til 21st Jan 2017, approx 6 weeks. 130 per week. Bills are not included. 2min to 250/251 bus route- 45min to CBD on bus, 15 min walk to thornbury train station(25min to CBD)/high st where there are plenty of food/shops. Street parking available. Room comes furnished with double bed, drawers, wardrobe and bedside table, easily ready for moving into. Standing fan is available. Kitchen is well appointed and spacious, toilet is out of the house, separate from the bathroom. Nice plot in thornbury with huge breezy backyard that comes with bbq, picnic table, pool table, fireplace good for chilly evenings, garage with space for storage, bike rack(outdoors) and laundry rack that will never run out of space. Moving dates and room rate is negotiable, we could forgo the bond if rent can be paid fully upfront. Too easy if you need a short term spot.
Heya! I'm a full-time teacher in the western suburbs looking for a new place to call home. I already live in a flat in Thornbury but I am looking to get into a bigger place with some outdoor area, closer to the public transport on offer in the same area. I can cook basically, always do my dishes and happy to contribute to cleaning etc. I prefer not to live with cats...
I live just outside of Melbourne, so im looking for a place thats closer into town! I have 2 jobs and i am studying full time at La Trobe Uni. I'm an easy going person, who can get along well with everyone but i also appreciate quite time during the week if i have to study. With time off, i am a brunch enthusiast, love going to gigs when i can, hanging out with friends and seeing what Melbourne has to offer! I'm looking for 3 - 4 house mates and i am looking to pay no more than 200 per week! Looking for a place to move into with people who don't have a huge age gap. (preferably 18 - mid to late 20s) or making a share house with 3-5 people. Thanks, guys
