Hi Guys, Very very tidy and tend to keep to myself but am looking to flat with fun and friendly people who are always down for casual brews, kitchen experiments and dog videos. Also if you love houseplants then please hit me up as I am trying to improve my houseplant survival rate. I'm a 22 year old recent graduate ( BEng(hons)) intending to move to Melbourne to pursue a second degree. Recently spent a year working in Wellington, NZ as a research scientist and part time bartender. Will be studying full-time and working part time so looking for a private room reasonably long term.
Hey there pals! I'm looking for a private room to move into in late before September 10. I love the Moonee Valley area and would preferably like to stay put around here or somewhere nearby. I just left studies in creative writing at La Trobe and am working as an administrative assistant and developing my own business selling prints of my art. I spend a good deal of my spare time at home in my own space, painting and drawing. Because of that, I might be wrongly perceived as reclusive to some but I always love having a good chat and am always up for doing things as a house. It'd be great to find a place with roomies who are likeminded and also enjoy that sense of company and actually being friends with who they live with. I also love yoga, learning guitar, I'm a tattoo addict and Seinfeld is my go-to show. I appreciate a clean house and am very respectful and I always have money for rent and bills in time. Message me if this sounds like I'd be right for your place :)
Im Marrisah, I’m 29, and moving to Melbourne is my next big adventure. I’ve been living in share houses for the last 12 years so I’m house trained and know how to respect your space. I’m looking for a relatively social house but definitely enjoy my solo time as well. I love music, art, snowboarding, skating, exploring markets or vintage stores and eating new food (I am so excited for Melbourne food experiences). I enjoy heading to gigs or checking out beer gardens/roof top bars. Also looking for a home is my adorable mini lop rabbit, Howi. He lives inside in an enclosure and comes out to cuddle when I’m home. He’s litter trained and super chill. He’s my baby and we’re a package deal so I need a place that’s ok with that. I'm a huge animal person so if you've got animals - even better! I'm not overly fussed who I live with, I can get along with most people. I'd prefer a similar age to myself so 25 - 35 year olds. LGBTGQIA friendly. 420 friendly. Looking to move in the first week of August as I start work on the 13th. I have transferred with my current job so I’m in secure full time employment. I’m prepared to sign a lease and to pay bond and rent in advance. Looking for a long term stay. I’m really looking for somewhere to call home.
I'm enrolling into La Trobe university for my masters. I am a Vibrant, Outgoing, Pretty chilled out guy, love to meet new people as I have been around people with different cultures. You would find me as a safe bet :)
I am a very easy going person. Not the sort to get in a huff about menial things, respect others right privacy but I also have a mean streak for board games and socializing when the time calls for it. You'd be hard pressed to find someone as hard to rile up as me! Id love to live with some well traveled internationals but outgoing people are equally as acceptable! Like all the cliches, movies, playing sport and having a nibble on a parma every now and then. Studying a masters in biotechnology at RMIT. Ideally need a place to move into next week! Looking at being in-between Bundoora and city campus. Closer to the city is preferable as long as there is easily accessible transport to Bundoora.
Private Detached Room for rent Your own private space - a fully furnished private bedroom. it is clean, comes with a double bed, study desk, wardrobe. the location is close to park, transport and high street. The Internet is included in the rent. The bathroom is shared between the tenants and it's the expectation to keep the common area clean. The rent is $195 per week for one person. Female is preferred. bills are shared (water, gas, electricity). Internet is included in the rent.
Hi guys, I'm Wayne, 27 year old Australian, just returned home from the UK and a working holiday. Ideally looking for a room in the inner suburbs or East Melbourne, $170 per week max. I enjoy music, guitar, films, art and travel. I'm easy going, tidy and I've got plenty of share house experience. Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks.
I just acquired this beautiful Villa unit on Clarendon street, Thornbury and hoping to find a housemate to share this legendary house with. Its literally 2 mins away from High street bustling with cafes, bars, pubs (Welcome to Thornbury just 5 mins walk, yipeee!) and all other amenities. Coles and Woolworths with in 10 mins walking distance. Tram 86 just outside the door and Thornbury/Croxton stations within 10 min walk too. 280$/week including all bills unless there is a massive spike in usage :) I have just moved in and furnished the place including your room with brand new double bed, mattress , chest and a lamp. Lounge area has big comfy couch and a 50 inch 4K HDR TV to stare at with YAMAHA soundbar for a bit of cinema feel :) Kitchen has all facilities you would need.
I’m a research academic who works part time and travel a bit, especially to escape Melb winters. I'm fully share-house trained, a resolute socialist, very creative and I love to laugh. I love spiders so I'm happy to escort any unwelcome ones out of the bathroom if needed.
Hey guys, My name's Em. I'm 26, studying part time at Monash University double majoring in Spanish and Latin American studies and Japanese studies. I have two little cats, Xena and Zahra, both names referring to princesses because they so are. I'm a pretty busy person myself, I'll either be at work, at uni, at the gym or studying in my room. But definitely down for a cheeky bevy and dinner with future housemates.
Easy-going lover of all people & pets :) I'm a clean, tidy person (outside of my bedroom at the very least) who loves coming home to a house full of people and plants. Living with me will entail a forever changing lounge room (collector of op shop painting), a kitchen that always has pasta on the stove or garlic bread in the oven, a hug and a big old serve of your favourite vice if you've had a shit of day.
I'm 27 and work as a Speech Pathologist at a school. I love keeping busy and am often out and about during the week with netball, yoga and dinner catch ups but also love a night in where I can watch Netflix or practice piano! (Don't worry - it comes with headphones so you won't have to put up with listening to me practice!) I have a big comfy couch that I can bring with me otherwise I can leave it at my parents. Also, I have a few pot plants that I'd love to bring along and have around the house. I've lived in a few share houses in Aus and in the UK and have made close friends through that so I am used to living with other people. I'm looking to move into a tidy/clean social share house with people who will be happy to share meals, have chats and the odd drink/movie night every now and then. I also understand everyone likes downtime (as do I). So ideally I would prefer to find like minded housemates that share similar values. I like to keep communal areas relatively clean, so would like to live with people who are happy to tidy up after themselves. I am looking at moving around August or September.
Large master bedroom with ensuite that gets heaps of natural light. Split system aircon/heating. Your own ensuite will have a spacious shower too. The window overlooks a private courtyard. Plenty of storage space. It'll be unfurnished but could easily fit a king sized bed, bedside tables and desk. The open plan living/kitchen area is upstairs and has split system aircon/heating also and dishwasher. Laundry with washing machine and dryer included. One secure undercover park (included in the rent) as well as unrestricted street parking, 11 tram at your doorstep, 2 minute walk to shops, cafes and bike trails, 10 minute walk to Thornbury train station. $380 a week for a single person or $396 shared between a couple + bills. This is a lease take-over - not sub-letting.
Hi, I'm Kirat and will be moving to Melbourne for work. I am a Veterinarian and studied/lived in QLD for almost 7 years before moving back to Singapore 2 years ago. I am clean and tidy, and looking for a private room. My working hours may be long but no overnights I hope! I enjoy being sociable and exploring the city, but also like some time to myself. Happy to talk more if you're interested in teaming up or have a room to offer!
Clean, reliable, single, will always pay on time, don't smoke, no other bad habits, great cook and happy to cook and clean for the household. Ok with pets. Love the AFL and am a mad Richmond supporter still in shock we won the premiership last year and are currently on top! Social and happy to socialise with housemates, have a drink (rarely drink) & chat. Low maintenance and only temporalily not working due to caring for a terminally Ill family member. As im not working at the moment, am happy to do all the cooking & cleaning for the household. Have enough savings to support myself in the meantime. Last job of 18 years had been as a Team Leader/ Business Analyst in Call Centres. Currently living in Thornbury with parents and they are driving me nuts! I love to cook & spoil my 2 year old nephew. Looking forward to meeting you!
I'm an IT nerd by day and fairly friendly happy person, moved to Melbourne from Perth and love it here. Love boardgames & books and all things Sci-Fi. I am fairly quiet & keep to myself most days, and always clean and tidy. I like to get along with most people and see myself as a fairly friendly sociable person. I'm currently living in Preston, however with housemates moving out I will either need to find new housemates or find a new place to move into. I also have a large amount of furniture, Fridge / TV, Dining Table, etc. so would ideally like to move into a property where these can be put to use :D Feel free to ask me any questions :)
Hi my names jason, I'm 35, clean and respectful. I work full time in construction 5-6 days a week, I'm out the door around 6 am and home around 4-5pm. I'm pretty easy to get on with, like to chat and get on with the people I live with, also like to relax and do my own thing. I'm house trained and like to live in a clean and tidy house, I allways clean after myself and happy to help keep the house clean. Any question, ask away
Hi, I'm Victor. I've lived down on the Mornington Peninsula my whole life and worked odd jobs in hospitality since I graduated in 2016 and I'm looking to move into the big smoke and continue working in the beautiful city of Melbourne. I enjoy seeing this cities fantastic music scene and reading, as long as my headphones don't break its very doubtful ill be the reason you cant sleep at 11 pm on a Sunday before your early start on Monday.
Hi! I'm Alicia, 26 from the UK and I'm looking to sublet a place/room for approx 1 month, I'm currently working full time as a hairdresser in Collingwood..I'm very easy going, chilled and also like to enjoy my weekends. Hello Flatmates My name is Sean, I am a 27yr old guy. I'm currently a student in Communications (Media) in my final year at RMIT. Ive just returned from a 6 month study exchange in Singapore/China and i'm hoping I can find a cosy place I can call home. To make ends meet I work for a few companies as a subcontractor/casual in the live events/audio visual industry. I'm a quiet natured fellow who likes coffee, making videos & music. I also like going to friends shows and doing yoga on occasion. Previously I lived in Thornbury and held a lease for two years in a house of four, so I know the importance of a clean, functional and cohesive house! I would say i'm out and about a lot, always scheming on some sort of project, however I do value building meaningful relationships with fellow housemates. If you want to know anything else, get in touch! Cheers Sean
Young couple moving to Melbourne looking for temporary accommodation and friends!
ABOUT ME Hi possible-future-housemates 🤗 🏠 . I'm Lane and I'm looking for a happy, healthy, humble Northside home (Carlton, Collingwood, Brunswick, Clifton Hill, etc.). I'm open to short-term or long-term options. I'm a quiet, considerate, creative soul who loves running, good food, good coffee, and great conversation. I'm all the friendlies — gender, orientation, environmental, and more — and I appreciate balanced homes. I lean left, arty, and less-masculine: I'm not looking to live in any variations of Blokes' World... I am looking for a clean, open, honest homely-home; somewhere I feel I'm coming home to and somewhere I feel I belong. I'm well-versed in co-living — I'm currently living in a 7 bedroom converted-convenience-store-sharehouse (which I love); before here I was living on my own (which I also love, in ways; though I love social interactivity more), so I'm pretty adaptable — and I respect my own time and space as much I do that of others. I love the usuals — arts, film, photography, music, people — and I'm fond of the ukulele, Rubik's Cube, and learning new things, because, this is how we grow. I'm trying to improve my sign language skills too so if you can help me I'll love you forever. I don't do TV though I love documentaries and film. I'm an environmentally-considerate car owner so parking is a consideration for me, and I have a small social enterprise I'm about to launch so a room with desk-space would be helpful as I sometimes work my night away — if I have to — or even a workspace somewhere else in the house. PERSONAL QUALITIES I'm an open and honest soul and seek the same in those around me. I believe communication is the key because communication is the key, as hard as it can sometimes be... FOOD, SHARING, & FURNITURE I'm an uber-minimalist and I come furniture-free. I'd prefer a furnished bedroom but it's not a deal-breaker. PETS I love animals but don't have any of my own. I steal all my pet pats when I'm out and about and/or running, stopping to pat and meet every four-legged friend I can.
I am an spanish architect who has been living in Australia for years. I am willing to find a good place to live and cook. About myself I am easy going, clean and respectful of other privacy. Pls don't hesitate to contact me.
