My name is Ali, I'm 36 and a student. I'm currently obtaining my Diploma in Youth and Community Services. Although I'm not home most times, I do enjoy good company (I love to discuss any topic, controversial or otherwise), cooking and maintaining a light mood all around. Most of all, I take great pride in keeping my immediate living quarters clean and presentable. My current conundrum is that the house I live in will be up for sale and thus, I have to vacate no later than September. Hopefully I'll be in a new home by then :)
Hi, I'm Kimberley! I'm 20 years old - from Tasmania, into arts and food, currently working in the city as a kitchen hand. I like to cook and live tidy. I'm laid back, easy to get along with and will respect your personal time and space. I enjoying having drinks with friends and exploring the place as i'm still fairly new to the beautiful city of Melbourne. Close public transport is necessary as I don't drive. I'd like a private room. Looking to move asap, hoping to hear from you soon. :)
We have 1 medium-large sized room available in a cute house in Thornbury, between Station St & Victoria Rd. The house is a 1 minute walk to the 250 bus (which goes to the city and La Trobe university) and 510 bus, the 251 and 562 bus are a 4 minute walk away away and the 86 tram, Dennis and Croxton Station are 25 mins walk away. Ivanhoe Station and Northland Shopping Centre a 10 min bus ride. The room is medium-large in size, the coolest in the house and would suit a couple or someone who likes their own space. There is a lot of space, with a room that serves as a hobby room and library, a big lounge room, a massive backyard and a large garage. If you have a car there is a driveway, as well as on street parking. Outdoors smoking is cool and we have a gorgeous cat. Additional pets will be considered if they can gel with the existing animals, and Belle is considering adopting a dog or cat. Rent is $760/month ($175/week) for a single, or $850/m ($196/w) for a couple + internet, gas, water, and electricity. The room is unfurnished. The rest of the house is furnished but there is plenty of space if you would like to bring additional furniture etc. We have ducted heating and an air conditioner in the lounge room. Move in date is somewhat flexible but we are ideally looking for someone to move in between the 27th May and 9th June.
This is a great house with a veggie garden, tons of storage space, amazing housemates and cheap rent. Perfect location: Tram 11 just across the road ( 10 min from Fitzroy and 20 min from CBD), train station is 3 min from the house and woolworths 15 min away. Neighborhood is very calm.
Large room available for a couple in Thornbury for 1 month. Furnished (mattress, linen, heater and basic furniture necessities). Older style 1920s two bedroom house with cozy 70s outfit. Super easy access to public transport with the train station 100m away, 300m to 11 and 86 trams. $300 per week, $350 including bills and Internet. You'll be living with me, mid 30s female creative type, outside smoker. Big backyard, huge living spaces and Netflix. Pets welcome.
Hi, since my landlord recently decided to sell his place I'm looking for a new home. I'm Aldo, a 33y old guy, toilet-trained and in my 5th year of being abstinent from chasing mailmen. Oh I wish sometimes I could be a dog, my life would be so much easier! Ok, back to the humans. I think I'm well house-trained, I've shared places ever since turning 19 and I've learned to clean up after myself in communal areas. I'm aware with things that might bother others and up for a chat and socialising most of the time, I like people I can trust and that try to find a collective solution to arising household problems. I understand sharing a place means we share the responsibilities that come with it and I'm mature enough to do my part for a functional household. A proactive communication for example is a good way to avoid issues. I'd like to hold myself to the same standard as I hold others, trying to find empathy, self-criticism and integrity around me. In more simplistic terms, I am happy if I can contribute in making people feel more at home and treat each other as friends rather than just housemates. Interests: I go out and chase balls sometimes (soccer), riding my bike around, beachtime, going to as well as playing gigs (I play guitar and occasionally bark to it). I also like to read and educate myself about things, cooking & eating in and occasionally out. I try to live environmentally conscious but without forcing my lifestyle choices onto others. Job: I am currently applying for jobs with my Master of Science and work experience in medical imaging. I'm financially stable and reliable and not dependent on finding a job straight away, so paying rent/bills and having other expenses for socialising will not be an issue with me (proof and references can be provided). If you think we could get along or have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thanks for reading and have a good day :) Woof.
I'm looking to find a nice place to live, where I can invest some time and energy, and be a part of a lovely home. I'm 27, working full time, passion for natural therapies, plants and herbal medicine. I'm respectful, a good communicator, easy going, sex positive, enviro conscious and have been living in share houses for many years and come with references!
I'm an LGBT nerd that enjoys reading, comics, video games, art, music and science. (My personality could be described as 'ISFJ', if you believe in that sort of thing). I work full time, running admin at a circus store near Melbourne. I'm a night owl, but not a partier; I make so little noise that you might not even notice that I'm awake. I'm well traveled and love exploring new places. I am easygoing, super reliable with bills, and like being "socially antisocial" with my housemates and selected friends. I need to live in a clean and well-maintained environment. Currently in need of one or two new, interesting people to live with once my current tenancy ends*. Unfurnished rooms are a must, as I have a desk and a couple of bookshelves to fit into my space. I also have a washing machine available if needed! As I have bad knees and no car, proximity to trams and trains is very important. This is the first time I've had to look for flatmates that aren't already friends, so I'm unsure what kind of information people like to know up-front. I'm intersectional, queer-friendly and trans-friendly. Happy to answer any questions that you might have. My name is quite unusual so I haven't uploaded photos, but I promise I'm a real person and not a bot! I'm looking to live with conscientious and considerate housemate/s long-term, in a place that feels like a home. * There's been a lot of noisy construction in my current area that I'd like to get away from. My current housemate is moving into a small apartment with their partner, so I need to find new housemate/s.
Hi I'm an easy going fun tidy girl looking for a new place . looking for something close to transport as I don't drive. I work part time and have some furniture if need be otherwise I can put it in storage. Hope to hear from you guys
Looking for a room in the north to move in preferably around the end of May, but flexible with dates. I'm a music grad working part time in retail plus doing a bit of freelance work. I'm pretty tidy, reliable with cleaning up after myself and paying rent before it's due, and am a left wing meat eater. I'm after a fairly chill/quiet place, but totally fine with the odd party. A house where I could practice when housemates are out would be ideal. Also some type of heating during the winter months would be lovely - but not a deal breaker. A
Brand new 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment on St Georges Rd in Thornbury. The apartment is on the ground floor and comes fully furnished except for your room. There is an open plan kitchen and living area which has air conditioning and heating. The living area opens onto a big outside courtyard (bbq to come). The route 11 tram is right outside and Thornbury station is only a couple of minutes walk away. The available bedroom will easily fit a double bed and bedsides. It has great built in wardrobe space and there is also a big storage cage in the basement if you want to store anything. On street parking is available. I'm 28 years old, originally from Canberra but have been living and working in Melbourne for four or so years. I work full-time in the city and am friendly, easy-going and tidy. I have an adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel pup called Darcy who lives in the apartment too. So you will have to like dogs and be happy living with one. I'm looking for a housemate who is friendly, relaxed and knows how to clean up after themselves and pay the bills. Rent is $999/month excluding bills. Bond is $500. The bills include electricity, hot water, water and internet ($30/month each). Send me a message with a little about yourself if you are interested. (Sorry no smokers or couples)
A good size double story duplex townhouse located in a quiet street back from the road.Location is walking distance to Fairfield train station and Main Street. Unlimited internet available with bill being split. In terms of house rules, I'd like a housemate that pulls their weight with maintaining a tidy house. REQUIRMENTS: Due to the reasons requiring me to seek a housemate, I need someone who is willing to have their name on the lease with me, and sign the tenancy agreement with our real estate agent. Bond of $1,200 to be payable to real estate agent. Lease isnt up until November so you must be willing to stay until then.Lease may be renewed depending on rent and personal circumstances etc. Bills are split equally.
I am a happy, friendly, easy going housemate who loves a chat and a coffee, but also loves to do my own thing. I'm trying to get myself into cooking more, and love to draw. I am independent, neat, organised, and I come with a turtle, who doesn't get up to too much mischief...
I'm a young relaxed guy that has recently moved from the middle of no where in country South Australia (in the Flinders Ranges) to the "Big Smoke". I make Coffees for a living and enjoy dogs, drinking, going out for a dance and venturing aroud this new city I call home. Looking for a long term house for myself and my dog Zephyr or Zeff, he is an 8 month old Pure black Shar Pei. Extremely well house trained, toilet trained and can sit pretty well. He enjoys dressing up, going for lengthy walks and collecting 1 of every pair of shoes in one room (this isnt a joke, if you meet him you will understand). I'm 75% sure you will fall in love with both of us but understand that taking on a guy and his dog is a huge undertaking. If you think we could both work please contact me. He is currently staying at my mums back in SA and I would really love to have him over here with me :(

Hey! I'm Emma. I'm currently In the states but looking for a new room to move into when I get back to melbs. I'm super chilled and work full time in a child care centre in the city. I'm looking for an awesome house with some chilled and Amazing vibes. I love to travel and see live music, have a drink and head to music festivals. 420 friendly ! Look forward to having a yarn!
I have two jobs at the moment one is my career and I do bar work on the weekends as I missed it after 5 months of not slinging drinks. I'm a pretty chill housemate that hates dramas, will cook dinner for anyone hm when I'm cooking and love to find crap new shows to sloth on the couch binge watching with wine or beers.
Hey babes! I am really really keen for a new place to live. Somewhere with at least 1 other girl; I’d be keen to live with 2 housemates ideally but open to 1 or 3 :) Love to find some folks who are into creative and/or arty things, who have their own busy lives like me but also enjoy sitting down with a cuppa or a wine at the end of some days for a chat. <3 My current place doesn’t really have that family vibe and I’d really like to be somewhere a bit more social & cosy. Keen on art & houseplants? I have lots of both to bring! I’m 27 (soon 28) and have been renting since I was 17. I teach singing and do assorted other things for money (music & art, modelling, occasional cafe or bar work, etc) I’m very careful with money and have never been late on rent or bills. I’m super clean & tidy. I’m an omnivore but wanting to start eating less meat (so if you van teach me sweet veg recipes that’s a bonus!) Apart from arty stuff I’m into psychology, philosophy, anatomy, humans in general :) I don’t smoke, I don’t drink much but enjoy a nice glass of red or whisky sometimes. Not so keen on: televisions (especially ones that are on all the time or playing reality TV/commercial TV), furniture covered in pet hair, smokers, conservatives/bigots, party houses, people who can’t clean up after themselves or help with regular house maintenance. Open to: Kitties, bunnies, birds, queers, 420-ers, friends over for potluck dinners & movie nights. My budget is around $800/month or $200/week. Looking Northside (Brunswick+East+West, Coburg, Pascoe Vale South, Fitzroy+North, Collingwood, North Melbourne, Parkville, Northcote, Thornbury, Carlton+North, those kinda places). I teach my voice students from home, so need other a large bedroom which i can split with my Japanese screen to make a semi-professional space, OR ideally a house which has an additional nice shed/sunroom/study which I could teach from (and am totally open to making this a shared music+art studio when I’m not teaching). OR… if the rent is somehow miraculously cheap enough, I might be able to be fine with finding a studio to rent and not having to teach from home! (I would need to be able to set up my desk & instruments/equipment in this space permanently.) If I sound like a good match and you have a room opening up let me know! I’m not in a lease situation where I am now, so can leave any time (just need to give 2wks notice) and am not in a rush, I want to find the perfect place, so if you have something becoming available in a month or two do let me know still! <3
Hello, I'm currently working in the film and Telly industry and work long hours. I won't be home much expect over the weekends. I don't smoke or drink and enjoy running, swimming and keeping active.
