I love life, chirpy, outgoing. I get along with anyone. Love company, laughing, joking, making most of life but I really also enjoy and need my solo time. I am respectful of other people's belongings and very trustworthy. Was a gaming attendant for the past 3 years. Looking for work, but i begin a course at Melbourne polytechnic in a month
Hey there potential housemates, I'm a botanist about the begin my PhD at La Trobe Uni Bundoora and am looking for a nice place to call home. In my early thirties, I have partied, I have travelled, I have lived on my own and in student sharehouses, and now am looking for a comfortable place to call home. My PhD project is somewhat cutting edge. I study medicinal Cannabis from a molecular genetics point of view. The research is estimated to take 3.5 years and during this time I will be receiving a healthy scholarship fortnightly stipend. I also have two casual jobs. One is in the medical Cannabis industry itself, and the other is helping out a friend who owns a furniture restotation business. I also do some TV/film background extras work when I have the time. So I'm a bit of a jack-of-all-trades. At home I'm tidy, respectful, enjoy a chat, and cook most of my meals. I enjoy helping out in keeping the house clean and I always clean up after myself. Of course, I'm always keen to do some gardening! In my own time, I'm a regular at the gym, go for the odd bike ride, watch movies/TV series and sports, and explore things online. Outdoor adventures are my favourite but I probably won't be doing much of that while my PhD is going on. I get along best with open-minded, self-motivated, positive, and passionate people. I'm looking to live with one or two (max) professional types who are pretty stable and grounded. A reliable internet connection is definitely required. I also own a small car, so any type of parking is also essential. I have my own bedroom furniture including a desk. I also own a couch and a near-new 520L fridge if needed. If you're looking for someone who is mature but can bring a lot of cheerfullness, laughter and good energy into your home, then send me a msg! Cheers Gianni
Despite being on the wall of shame, for being unable to devour the gargantuan hot dog (see above), I am still a great human being. I promise, even ask my mum. Onto the boring stuff about myself: -- I am 25 years old. -- Working as an audio engineer at Crystal Mastering -- Work in a nightclub on the weekend -- I play the drums -- Quiet but enjoy hanging out with housemates I have 7 years of rental history, with sharing houses with girls and guys.

Hi I'm Ash. I'm 30. Currently living in Thornbury and looking to continue living around there or closer to the city. I'm an Insurance Broker working in East Melbourne. I work normal business hours Monday to Friday. Very secure in my career and reliable with paying bills on time. I'm into health and fitness, going to the gym 4-5 times a week. I enjoy hanging out with friends, a few drinks on the weekend and going to the Football ⚽ I own a car so will need somewhere to park it close by. I'm a pretty social person but also very respectful of privacy. Clean and tidy.
Hey! :) I’m an 18 year old student who is currently completing my CERT IV in Youth Work and Disability. I am looking for a place to stay until I can complete my studies. My rough budget per week is $200 max including bills. Furnishing are not a problem as I can provide them.
Hey everyone! Marina here! I'm a brazilian biologist, currently studying Park Management, and Frazer is working full-time in retail. We are a pretty easy going couple, we both enjoy the outdoors (I'm very into hiking and Frazer loves fishing). We are always up for a beer and a chat, but also value some time alone (mostly me, to be honest). We want to keep a homely environment, so we are looking for tidy people and a friendly vibe. Also we are hoping to adopt a dog eventually, so you must be an animal lover too :)
It’s been 2 years I have been living sharing flat and house. I would love to share a flat with someone who maintains cleanliness. And is friendly and easy to cope up with. I am looking for room of 600-650 $ including bills.... Near to city preferred 20-30 mins . Thank you
I’m 27 years old, male, work full time in Admin/Conveyancing for a CBD Law firm, but my true passion is music. I perform regularly around town, often touring and recording. I also DJ most weekends in bars and clubs so I’m out quite a bit. Other interests include comedy (esp. British), world history and international politics. I’m quite independent and busy chasing my dreams, burning the midnight oil most nights.. but also very friendly, outgoing and approachable. I love a clean, tidy household that's nice to come home to, and I’m ultra-reliable on all fronts. I'm after a room which is pretty large in size, ideally at least 3 x 4m - I have some items to contribute to the house if required, otherwise I’m happy to leave in storage. These include, 2 x couches, Fridge, HD TV, various chairs and tables, microwave, Plates, pots, utensils etc.. One last thing: I have a car, so I'd just need somewhere to park it. Hope to hear from you soon! =)
We’re both friendly, super social people who’ll happily get along with whoever we stay with, enjoying a beer or wine at night but totally respecting everyone’s own space. We may not be the most organised people in the world but we definitely clean up after ourselves. Respecting the house, we would appreciate being able to invite a few people over every now and we are totally ok if the house is a known party house 😼 We like to cook and morning Pilates sessions may be a common sight and at night we are always keen for a boogie 🕺🏽💃🏽 Currently we are both employed full time in fin/banking but also live in Brisbane and are excited to move down!
I have been living in Melbourne for the past year but I have currently moved back to NSW. I am looking to return to Melbourne ASAP as soon as I get a better job. I would prefer to live in the inner north or the city in a studio apartment.
Hi I’m Nicola, and I’m looking for a room. I am turning 24, female, studying social work full time at La Trobe Uni, and working a casual job in retail. I am looking for a place that accepts students, is LGBTQI friendly (I’m the ‘B’), and has housemates who would be happy to share a pot of tea and have a chat. Move in date is flexible as is length of stay
I'm 28, been living in a one bedroom apartment for over a year now but its getting a bit pricey. Looking to live with some like minded people who are happy to share a meal or keep to themselves, can clean up as required and don't mind socializing over dinner. I work full time, recently started playing footy and love movies. I have everything you need to furnish a one bedroom apartment - so i don't need anything but can bring my appliances as required. Cheers, Shane
I am a positive person who like to chat but is also very considerate of other's space. I am considerate of cleaning up after myself, and will do my fair share of household work and maintenance. Bill will be paid on time. Most of all i am keen to maintain a good vibe within the house/ place to keep the good times going :)
Hi, my name is Julian. I work full time with Olinda Springs in Rowville (mon-fri) and on weekends I work from home with the hotels I have in Florence Italy. I moved from florence 5 years ago and live here for good now. Looks like all I do is work but in fact it's not, I play soccer every week, go to the gym at least 3 times a week, like to explore the city, new places, cafe, reastaurants, wineries, hotsprings etc.. I like to do some trips during the year like Byron Bay especially, and overseas for a month, mainly Florence every year as my whole Family lives there. I am a very entreprenour minded person and obsessed with trying to improve all the time, I have finished two Universities of Architecture, one in Izmir Turkey and one in Florence Italy and recently finished a Real Estate Course here in Melbourne. Super easy to get along with, experienced in living with others and I believe theres something to learn from everyone so definitely enjoy interesting coversations over a glass of wine, coffee, lunch, dinner whatever and wherever. I am a father of two beautiful girls 4.5 and 2.5 yo, they mean the world to me but at the moment they live with their mother in Byron Bay (if you think I hate my ex-wife, you're wrong) and the reason I travel there often is to see and spend some time with my beautiful daughters. Looking forward to meet and team up with like-minded people and hope that a healthy togetherness will bring some power. Cheers, Julian
I am a young professional with permanent work teaching high school students. I have a beautiful 4 year old cat. Her name is Snooker. She likes cuddles and pats and has a great loud purr even though she's so tiny. She's never caused any damage to any property I've lived in, though she does shed fur on you if you give her big cuddles. I am an introvert who has a lot of books, likes video games, TV and movies. I like to cook and meal plan. I would like to live with like minded people who have similar interests. I'm pretty much a massive nerd looking to branch out.
I'm a freelance animator from New Zealand, super laid back and friendly. I do work heaps so I probably wouldn't be home a whole lot, will give you your own space but also open to building new friendships and hanging out :)
Easy access to the city and universities; lots of Public transport options - Bus, Train & Tram all within walking distance; Cafes, bars & restaurants nearby; Fairly quiet building; Nice neighbourhood; I try to keep the flat fairly clean - it is an older building, there is a split system air conditioner in the living area; The room does come with a double bed and a desk but I can get rid of them if you have your own. There is a generous closet in the room - plenty of storage space. There is a washing machine in the bathroom, there is also a communal coin operated washing machine and dryer in the building.
I am a creative female seeking a home with like minded people. I have a stable income, clean up after myself and am responsible. I am currently attending a ceramics course. My hobbies are gardening and drawing. I am single and don't have pets. I am social but not a party animal. I enjoy watching netflix and sharing meals with my housemates. Open to team ups I have a rental history and references.
Well, I clean up after myself, pitch in as much as possible to keep shared spaces as clean as reasonably possible. I'm an easy going guy, and you know respect everyone's own space and views. I tend to spend my time reading books with a nice coffee, watching anime, or sci-fi stuff. I'm quite extrovert, and love to share moments with people. I always sleep around 11.00 pm and wake up around 7-8. So that's about it, 30 yo comeback student finished his degree, already working 5-6 days a week and a room these days. Ps: Look I know there are lots of people out there that delays their payments and stuff. I'm quite organised and don't skip stuff mostly. Feel free to call or message. Note: Only looking for houses where at least one native speaker is resident. Not looking for places where the landlord or the guy who collects rent does not live in the house. Hope I'm clear enough.
I'm an ecologist and have just started working at a consulting company in Melbourne. I enjoy yoga, reality tv, and getting out in nature for walks, bird watching and swimming. I'm also a major bookworm. I come from Geelong near the coast. I'm easy-going and looking for a place where I can come home, relax and chat with friends.
Fully furnished room in my Thornbury apartment available from May 14. Rent is $230 pw with bills and internet included, and bond is $500. I'd prefer someone who can stay at least 3 months but all situations will be considered. It's a big apartment and the housemate would be sharing with just me. Plenty of parking available but also only 3 minutes from the 86 tram line. Very handy to high street shops, cafes etc including the wonderful Psorakas fresh food market only 2 minutes away. The flat has a dishwasher and split system to keep it hot and cold as we need it. Your room has it's own heater and plenty of drawer space. Mostly separate food and meals I like sharing the odd meal..
