Hi there! I am currently based in Warrandyte, I moved out here from Carlton with a few friends for a tree change but after 6 months I'm kinda over it so I am looking to come back to civilisation. I am 36, currently undertaking a PhD at Monash, I also teach there once a week. I also write for various online and print publications, usually on body modification and tattoo. I am a very good housemate! I am clean, respectful of space, I tend to spend a lot of my time writing at my desk but I also like to spend evenings with a glass of wine or beer too. I have an espresso machine! (I also have a really nice fridge. I don't have much in the way of lounge stuff, but happy to purchase if need be). I also have a pooch, his name is Scribbles and he loves everyone. He is 5 and a heartbreaker. He is very well trained and I like to keep him clean. He doesn't go on couches and I take great of him. I am in a long term relationship so I would likely spend some days away from home on a regular basis. Note: only looking to live with one other, or maybe two others!
The house is located on a quiet street in Thornbury. It is about a 10 minute walk from High St, where there is an abundance of cafes, bars, grocery stores, tram stops, etc. It’s a two story, modern townhouse that has the following: - two bedrooms (bedroom available is a decent size with a big built in wardrobe) - two toilets - one bathroom (separate from the toilets) - nice open lounge room/dinning area - modern kitchen - low maintenance courtyard - garage for one car (heaps of on street parking) - heating and aircon
Very easy going, respectful and clean. Just moved back to Melbs from Sydney with everything in storage so flexible on furnishings. Enjoy a relationship with my housemates though at the same independent and respectful of personal space at home. Keep fit at the gym, running and yoga. Have shared many times in the past always end up making friends. Love heading out for a beer or sharing dinner at home with housemates and/or friends though not a party animal, flexible but like a relaxed environment at home. I’m away a lot for work so will need the off street car park for those times away, hoping to start studying part time, and I’ve put down three months though stay lengths are flexible. Also I’m an animal lover generally, I have no pets myself so a place with pets is actually better for me :) Cheers!
I'm moving back to the big smoke to study fine arts after some out in the bush. If I'm at home I'm probably painting or drawing, otherwise I'm out hiking or making coffee to pay the bills! I love a good bottle of pinot noir over a good yarn and a couple of gags :)
Hello! We're a couple from NSW. I'm (Tess) a PhD student at Wollongong, studying Creative Writing. I love plants and homey hangouts. I'll be writing a lot for my studies. David's looking to work for an NGO that's making significant social changes. Both of us love a drink and tastey food. We're both grimacing into the future and wondering what we can do to prepare for a climate-altered planet.
I’m Matty - I work for a food rescue charity 4 days a week and into sustainability. I like to spend my free time making music, spinning vinyls, hiking, bouldering/rockclimbing and taking photos. I also enjoy meditation and yoga, and attend workshops regularly. I also thoroughly enjoy making things from recycled timber. I love to party and have a wholesome boogie too! I would ideally like to live in a conscious household that encourages a sustainable lifestyle. I am not strictly vegan or vegetarian but try to reduce harm as best I can in my dietary choices. I’d like to live with some chill people who can communicate openly and honestly and aren’t afraid to bring up anything that they need to bring up. I love a good conversation so ideally you will be social people that like to hang out and spend time together. I’d like to get to know my housemate/s well, and spend time enjoying each others company, however I enjoy time to myself and having my own space also.
I'm a very tidy person and keep any house I live in looking great. I'm commencing study at Swinburne in August to complete a Bachelor of Health Science, and will be keeping myself busy. I'd love a house where everyone gets along as I enjoy cooking with my housemates in the evening and getting into shows together. I like to make my house a home and won't be confined to my room all the time as I like to socialize and decorate. If you're looking for a friend as well as a housemate, chuck me a message!
Hi! My name is Asta, I'm a 20 year old woman working full time as a security worker. I am am a musician and play gigs in Melbourne when I can, and the occasional interstate show. I have a cat called Buddy who is completely toilet trained, very friendly but doesn't demand attention from others. I am looking for a room in a house with a backyard as soon as possible, somewhere close to Bell street so I can get to work easily. I spend what little time I have free at home catching up with laundry, practice and socialising. I enjoy spending time with friends and housemates, so I'm looking for somewhere with people who are interested in getting to know eachother, not just live in the same house. I'm pretty flexible about pretty much everything, though, and interested in whatever interesting experiences (good and bad) a new sharehouse brings.
Beautiful light filled room with built in robe. Ground floor recently renovated unit with new amenities including a dishwasher and all the things you need. Small backyard and a quiet lazy indoor cat named Moon. House currently has washing machine, fridge, couches, etc. 2min walk to the 86 tram and about 20-40mins to the CBD.
Hi, I'm 35 years old. In my spare time I like to exercise, catch up with friends and family, go out for meals or shopping. I also enjoy travelling on holidays overseas or here. My field of employment is in admin. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have :)
