My name is Shadi Alexander and if you recognize me it's probably because I was on First Dates Australia for 3 different episodes but have given up pursuing a career in acting for something more stable. I work for one of the big 4 banks in the head office located in Melbourne CBD. That's why I am looking for a unit or town house preferably in the the inner CBD or inner northern suburbs but am very flexible. Happy to stay in the right place for 1 year and beyond. I've been living out of home for many years now and I think I'm pretty much the perfect house mate, not too boring but never in your way either and not intrusive at all. I am very neat and clean and I have lived in share houses before so I know the ins and outs. I am easy going and fun to be around but also responsible and respectful of others and their space too. Also I am quite busy during the week as you'd expect working two jobs but always make an effort for my housemates regardless of how busy life gets. If it sounds like we'd get along feel free to drop me a line.
Hi, my name is Steph and I'm a visual art student at RMIT. I'm looking for a place nearing art and music dominant areas to call my home, so I'd like to be there for a while and be able to settle. I'd say I'm easy to get along with because getting along with others is rarely an issue. I enjoy the company of others but I also enjoy being on my own so I can create and do my own thing. Hopefully I'm able to find something soon or at least have a date to move so I can get rid of this account and continue forward. Thanks
Hey Guys :) I'm From Switzerland and I'll do an internship in Melbourne (Thomastown) for nine months as a wood engineer. I'm looking for a nice sharehouse between Thomastown and Melbourne city for at least 8 months. I'm easy going and love travelling and any kind of sports etc... especially surfing :)
Hi there, my name is Melissa! I'm from Montréal, Canada, and I'm a 28 year-old, independent, nature/animal-loving individual. I am typically out of the house; chasing the next adventure, hiking a new trail, riding my bike, and café hopping! In the house, I am tidy and am pretty quiet - I don't "party", drink, use drugs or smoke. I enjoy anything fitness related, and testing out new smoothie concoctions. During my down-time you'll find me nose-in-a-book, or napping in a patch of grass. I am currently preparing my upcoming move to Australia in August on a Working Holiday Visa! I'm looking to rent a room in a clean, cozy, friendly, affordable home with like-minded individuals, so feel free to contact me if you believe us to be a good fit :)
Hi! I’m Dannica, and I’m a Melbournian working full time in HR. I love live music, fitness and enjoying good food/coffee/wine with friends. I’m relaxed, clean and respectful. I'm friendly and social, but also enjoy my own downtime. Always down for good chat over wine and a cheese platter!

I play music locally and enjoy the share house lifestyle. I am independent and reliable and enjoy a wide array of hobbies including music, art, cooking, sports and anything else that’s going! I enjoy people’s company and getting to know people. I also enjoy my own space and so am respectful of those i Live with as well. Give me a message if you’re keen to learn more. Look forward to meeting you! Annie
Hello, I am a teacher living in Alice Springs and I am coming to Melbourne for term two. I am looking for something self contained and furnished. I am quiet, clean and respectful and enjoy the simple life - I love the country and will be spending some weekends away visiting friends in Castlemaine but am also looking forward to sampling the amazing food to be found in Melbourne! If you have a place that might be suitable, preferably with a bit of outdoor garden space, please get in touch. Cheers, Bess
I've been renting and sharing houses for over 10 years and so I'd say I'm pretty experienced at being a good housemate by now. I'm clean and tidy, respectful of others and their things, and although I'll be pretty busy, I like to be social and take an interest in the people I'm living with when the opportunities present. I'm working at the national science agency as a science communicator, which means I get to turn the science into interesting stories, and I'm also studying public health part-time at Uni of Melbourne. I've got lots of travel stories, I speak Spanish reasonably well, I like to be pretty active and to get out and about in Melbourne.
Location is amazing. Walk down High St to all the cafes and shops in Thornbury and Northcote. Not far from Preston market. On two tram lines and 5 mins walk from Thornbury Station. We are a friendly family - one mum and two Prima school aged children. My kids live with me 50% of the week. Safe, trustworthy home environment.
I'm 25 YO from England, I'm a full time hairdresser/barber so do work long hours through the week. I'm a social gal, enjoy going out and attending festivals but also don't mind chilling and kicking back :) I'm very clean and tidy, like to cook when I get the time! Huge animal lover also, all round a fun housemate!
Hello there. I am seeking a home to share with community minded, creative beings who are interested in co-creating a peaceful, harmonious, easy-going, tidy, respectful, loving and nurturing space together. I am currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and as well completing my Kundalini Yoga training program. My hobbies and interests are in : spirituality, philosophy, healing, well-being (meditation, yoga, nutrition, kirtan, natural therapies, etc..), conscious dance, sacred music, films, art, reading, being in nature, eating out, travel, singing and pretty much any workshop or book on self-development that allows me to learn more about myself, others and improve who I am as a person. I am honest, mature and respectful of others space, and also seeking the same from others. I am also drug and alcohol free, and would prefer a home of open, authentic, conscious connections and communication with one another. I am not fussed about living with others who enjoy a wine over a meal, but definitely not interested in a party house. I am interested in a quiet space where I can study, as well as, re-charge and unwind. I would enjoy a conversation, meal or outing with fun-loving housemates every so often. As well as a tidy space, where we all contribute in keeping the environment clean and tidy for all. A home near public transport services is a necessity, preferably train and tram services. An unfurnished room and additional storage space would be ideal. I am vegan and would prefer a vegan and/or vegetarian household. I have lived with meat-eaters before though that are respectful and understanding. I also volunteer in assisting with and marketing events within the conscious Melbourne community, as well as activism for the welfare and rights of animals. I am more than happy to live with cats, and the more the merrier :)
We are a family of three looking for a house to share or accommodation. We are very neat. Easy people, relaxed and honest.
Hi, I'm an Italian guy just arrived in Melbourne, I work as a chef and I'm just trying to get my permanent visa cause I felt in love for Australia. I'd like to find a nice clean place that it could make feel at home, I'm an easygoing, very clean and tidy person. Of course as italian, I love food so much :), music, arts and people. Just trying to find a nice place with nice housemates around here :) Cheers
I’m Gareth, a 34yo working professional. I work full time as a business development manager for an engineering company with a national customer base, meaning I travel quite regularly interstate for work. I sometimes also work from home. I have a great sense of humour, am responsible, considerate and respectful. Ideally I’ll be looking at moving into a 2 bedroom share house with a clean friendly person / persons. Some outdoor space would be ideal as I do have a collection of beautiful selection of indoor and outdoor plants that I would like to bring and may also do the occasional odd repair to my surfboard or convert new furniture into unique vintage pieces. I’m open to being flexible with my living needs so please drop me a line if you think there is something that may be suitable. I do also own my own furniture (bed, couches, fridge, washing machine etc) if needed or I’m happy to put them into storage. Mature but young at heart, caring, nurturing, sociable but respecting of personal space. Conscientious and neat. Love to cook and socialise over food/drink or sit on the couch with a glass of red watching films.
I'm an easy-going person who takes life as it comes. Always up for an adventure and deep conversations about life, whatever. Occasionally like to drink, not a smoker. Love pets but not pet lizards! Like to stay clean and tidy (that goes without saying). Into books, movies, baking, etc.
Hi, my name's Lachlan - studying full-time at La Trobe University and have just moved from Perth. I'm into sport, music, reading, movies/documentaries and keeping fit/outdoors. A bit of everything really (and can cook!). Open to new interests and experiences, or just anything fun. I'm easy-going, respectful and kind, and will help people out wherever I can. Also Like the odd drink or social occasion but balance that with time to myself for studying and relaxing. Happy to fit with whatever vibe suits the place. I'll do my fair share in keeping a place clean and maintained, and will respect any rules. So that's me! Look forward to meeting future room-mates.
Hello. I'm James. I've just moved to Melbourne from Brisbane. I transferred at my job, full-time work. I'm looking for something similar to the experience I had in Brisbane, which is one or two roommates who are easy/enjoyable to live with, very respectful of space/tidiness and good for a chat/drink every now and then. Being new to the city, I'm hoping to find a great location. Things I love: Arts/Music, reading, writing, gym, cooking, spontaneous adventures/exploring the city....
The one on the right. Looking to move to Melbourne within the next few months, preferably into a house but not too fussy! I work in the hospitality industry so will be working mostly nights and love a good sleep in but I will wake up at anytime for some avo on toast. I’m pretty chilled out and love watching trashy tv and having a wine at home, but always up for “casual” drinks and accidentally having 17 gins and staying out until 4am. Have lived in uni accom and shared houses for 5 years so I understand the need for alone time & cleanliness but would like to be pals and hang with any future housemates!
Hi there, We have a nice sunny room in Thornbury, in a nice clean modern townhouse, The house is close to Penders park and to Victoria road, close to cafes, bars, restaurants, 10 min walk to High st. tram stops and Train station. The house comes with a dishwasher, washing machine, central heating and air conditioning and a cute cat, Ninny. Hey, so a little bit about moi. I studied PR and now work full time in social research, I dabble in catching the odd gig, road tripping, burning man outfit ideation and have recently discovered the tranquility of Bob Ross and The Joys of Painting. I'm also into brunching, raw treats, smoothies and broadening my cooking skills: Pasta and Vino forever. I'm constantly on the look out for good avo's across town, I like animals (although don't own any) and am tidy but chilled. I would like to get to know my housemates and share an occasional drink but can also respect others' space! Hm what else... I've lived in share houses before so I'm trained in that. If you think there's potensh for me in your home or to start something, I'm keen to hear from you! Preferably looking for houses or units Northside.
Hi, my is Jack and I'm 30 years old. I'm currently studying at Monash and am half way through my degree in paramedicine. I also work part time for Man With A Van. If I'm not studying or working than I'll most likely be hanging out with friends. I try to lead a pretty active lifestyle, I enjoy exercising, I play touch football, and I'm learning how to play ice hockey at the moment. I am hoping to find a friendly, clean share house that will feel like home. I am an independent person, but also enjoy socialising with my housemates when everyone's in the mood.
