I am a happy go person, easy to chill with and very flexible in nature. I love to dance and cook. My weekend getaway will surely be a glass of wine and Netflix. Would love to know new people and about their culture so always up to share a space.
Hey! I'm a Canadian girl working as a bartender at a pretty cool pizza cocktail bar in Preston. Current share house is ending and am looking for a place to stay for the next 3 months (until the end of April). I enjoy long walks on the beach and any other cliché people put on their dating profiles. The outdoors, wine, you name it. I'm pretty social and am down for a nice glass of wine on some nights. But I also like my own personal space and respect others. I am also properly house trained and am pretty tidy. If you think I could be cool feel free to message and potentially home this vagamond.
Hi everyone) I'm Rick from The Netherlands. I'm on exploring tour, looking for a better place to move from the rainy and cold Dutch ground. My goal is to organise my life in here, learn the system, culture, people in the country it self. Openminded, relax and active person(in a few words about myself). I do speak a few languages and try to learn some others everyday. I always have my own food) and will never take something from the others. Used to live with different people from countries all around the world, so yes, i do respect everyone's privecy and any cultural differencies are not the reason to show inappropriate behavior.
Hi, My name is Ram Babu and I'm 19yo. I'm originally from Darwin but currently in my second semester at RMIT. I'm a very friendly person that understands privacy and I love soccer and music. I'm just looking for a nice room to move into that's fairly close to the RMIT building in the city or fairly easy to get to from.
Current sharehouse lease ends in 3 months, looking for a new place. I work full- time in sales at Airport West, in my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, creative pursuits. I go to the gym regularly and i'm into healthy eating. Would prefer to share with women only thanks.
Hello, my name is Hien! 🙂 I'm responsible, considerate and communicative. I always pay rent and bills on time, clean up after myself and work to keep common areas clean and comfortable. I do my best to be accommodating and am always respectful of other people's needs. I value open communication and compassion. I'm seeking long term rentals as I'd like to settle somewhere for at least a couple of years, preferably more. The place should take 40 minutes or less to travel to University of Melbourne/city using public transport. I have good rental history, can provide references from previous real estate agents and housemates, and prefer to go on the lease contract. I prefer areas with a lot of diversity and good community vibes. I come with my own bedroom furniture and not much else, but I can chip in for big household appliances (fridge, washing machine, dryer, etc.) if needed. I'm 22, currently studying an undergrad in Criminology and Philosophy at University of Melbourne, and hoping to get a career in social work/advocacy. I do have a lot of commitments and keep my own schedule so I might not be around much, but I'm happy to be social when possible. I like to try out Vietnamese recipes, make smoothies or other types of drinks and bake sometimes. Hope to hear from you!
Hi, I'm Aspen. I am a 3D Artist by trade, doing my Masters in Software Engineering at RMIT. I have two cats, Eleanor and Rigby! They're very friendly, and everyone who meets them adores them. I spend most of my time on a computer doing something, whether that be making/playing games or watching docos about space and physics. I love to cook, and am always up for a good meal with friends or housemates :)
My current housemate Anna and I are looking to move out of our established houseshare and find a new place to live and some like-minded people to share it with! A bit about us: Anna: Is from Bateman's Bay, NSW. she is a full-time student studying Interior design at RMIT while working part-time. Lara: Is from the Gold Coast QLD. She is studying Media and communications at Swinburne while working part-time. We both enjoy cooking meals together, chats over wine... you know how it goes! Basically, we're both full-time students and workers so while we enjoy the odd night out and fun around the house together, we still enjoy our solitude as well and respect each other's privacy. Our potential housemate/s is someone that is self-sufficient, mindful, clean and easygoing. We are friends rather than housemates and genuinely love the experience of living with supportive and fun housemates. We are accepting of all genders and sexual preferences as well as food preferences. If this sounds like a Household you'd enjoy chuck us a message :)
Been in Melbourne for about 2 years now still kinda fresh off the boat feels, Im 23 ~~ studying Business Masters degree and working part time as a bartender well not sure what more roles I might be doing later, quite easy to get along with people but I'm also good at staying out of the way. mad respect to everyone's private space(idgaf✌). Im clean tidy considerate person who has great sense of humor, watches lots of netflix plus some drama but no time for it anymore uni is killing my inner soul already. Rent can be negotiable from 130-160, My only request is to make sure the house is nearby train station or trams because Unfortunately, I don't have a driving license to own a car any sooner:(
Hey I am student at la trobe University studying a bachelor of creative arts, majoring in theater. I am in my last year of University so I will be trying my best to knuckle down and get it done! For work, I am with the YMCA (I also volunteer for them) and also the platform sidekicker. At home, I'm pretty chill; love playing stategy games either on PC or on a tabletop (I have a nice set of board games I'm building up) as well as playing music (I sing and play guitar). I'm reasonably clean, especially in communal areas and I'm looking for people with the same attitude (not an extremest though). I'm pretty friendly, love a glass of red or a beer, so if you down for chat, give me a buzz :)
I am a Patient Transport Officer (non-emergency Ambulance Officer) and am seeking 'granny flat' accommodation. Requiring furnished/partly furnished 'self contained accommodation' including fridge (Not house share). Access to a laundry is preferable. A 58 yo divorced 'gentleman' who has been a home owner in the past and who is clean living, quiet and respectful. My son is an adult and lives with his wife overseas. Term could be longer than 6 months if it is the 'right' place for me and I am the 'right' tenant for you :) References available on request. Michael
I have just moved to Melbourne about 6 months ago from adelaide for work! Currently in an apartment in Moonee Ponds but I am a shift worker so struggling with the contstruction noise! I am super laid back and very clean and tidy! I like my own space but am also very sociable so up for a chat and drink every now and then :) I would love to team up with two like minded people and hopefully get a townhouse/house somewhere! Not really looking to rent a room as I have lots of furniture. I have all furniture required to fill a house (couch, tv, table, fridge, etc) so just looking for two housemates to share a home with! Let me know if you’re interested! :)
My name is Callum, I'm 24 years old, I work part time. I'm an actor, cosplayer and gamer in my free time. Whenever I can actually get any of that. Tend to keep to myself for the most part, but am happy to socialize and have dinner. Pretty easy going. Looking to ideally team up with some people, probably max four (including me) to find a place where we can live together with ease. - Geez, that sounds cliche. Otherwise, I'm always up for renting a room somewhere. Can't really think of anything else to write, so that'll do.
Hey Flatmaters! I'm Emily-Rose, a 30-year-old Communications professional who likes counteracting all the chocolate I eat with gym sessions and pole dancing classes. I'm a Melbourne local, and have a big and varied group of friends so I spend most weekends out socialising. I adore pets, and would ideally like to adopt a 'lil kitty or puppy in my future place, but would be fully responsible for the important things like keeping it alive. I'm looking to move in early February, and am fully house trained. I've lived in both great and awful sharehouses in the past, so I know exactly what I'm looking for in the housemate department. Hopefully that's you! I'm quite a social person but also really value my alone time (I'd say like a 70/30 split): I'd love to live with people who love a chat and to share a tv series or a trip to the pub for a drink, but who won't take it personally if I go straight for my bedroom for a nap after a long day. Likewise, I'm really respectful of others' space and things, so I won't bug you if you also need some solo time. My future home will be relatively new (i.e. mama wants a dishwasher), with lots of natural light, and preferably close to a park. I have minimal household stuff outside of my bedroom, but would happily invest in some big-ticket items if needed. I'm also very interested in hiring a cleaner once every 2-4 weeks to take the biggest burden off the household stuff. If this all seems good to you I hope to hear from you soon!
Hey, I’m Lachlan. Just finishing a Creative Arts degree at La Trobe and looking for a casual, comfy, creative household to live in for the year. I’m pretty easy going. I like to keep a clean environment and I respect my housemate’s boundaries. I’m looking for somewhere to live ASAP. So contact me if you’re keen!
Hi people! I am an Indian student studying my Masters at RMIT Uni, City Campus .I am looking for a chilled out and relaxed place to stay. I work part-time and working full time for the summer break. So, I am mostly at work 6 days a week. I love meeting new people and would prefer a neat and tidy place to live. Looking for like-minded people to stay along. Cheers

Hello, I'm Valerie 30, Irish and looking for a sublet for 3-4 months. I work full-time during the week and like to socialise at the weekends. I'm fun, friendly, clean and tidy and happy to hang out with housemates or do my own thing 😊
I'm Ali from Belgium and my partner Dane is from England. We met while traveling in New Zealand, living in a shared house (10 people!) I'm in Hospitality management and Dane is a scaffolder. We're very relaxed; we like socializing but aren't loud party people. We're both active and like to go out for hikes, running, etc. We're definitely outdoorsy folks so we want to spend some time in the Yarra ranges and down Mornington Peninsula. Dane plays guitar and likes to goof around with people. I love writing, drawing, learning new things like Spanish or fiddling with Dane's guitar for the millionth time and giving up. We like to keep busy and do new things, and are always up for taking flatmates with us. We enjoy cooking and baking, so you'll probably be rewarded with treats randomly left on the kitchen counter :-) We've been together for over four years and have lived in several countries together. We worked as Chalet Hosts together in Morzine, France last winter. We appreciate living with people who clean after themselves (doing their own dishes instead of leaving it to their flatmates ...) We're not very fussy with our accommodation. We lived in a literal shed while in the UK last year and are comfortable in small living quarters. We'd love to have our own place, but are also considering shared housing as long as there's only 2-4 people in the house. We've done the 10 people shared party houses in NZ and are getting too old for it ;-) We are not in Melbourne until the 23rd of January so we cannot go to any viewings before this date. Thank you.
(I'll be in Melbourne from the 18th February, just setting this profile up now so I can get straight to business in flat hunting when I get there) New to Melbourne, trying to set myself up in a new city and everything that entails. Moved over from Auckland, NZ to study at RMIT towards a post-grad library qualification. I like going to comedy gigs, music, theatre, museums and art galleries. Looking for a room in a share house with a homey feel and some character, with a good group of people. I've lived in share houses for a number of years and been a head tenant as well, so I'm well-versed in living harmoniously with other people.
Hey! I'm Orla, and I am moving to Melbourne to start a trainee-ship program with a small ballet company, while also looking for part-time work. I'm a friendly and clean person to live with. Interested in exploring nature, travelling, reading and writing. I would love to be able to socialise with my future housemates if we get along, but also enjoy being independent and doing my own thing.
The house is located near Station Street, where there is a nearby bus stop which will take you to either Fairfield or Northcote train stations - depending which bus you catch. It is also 5 minutes drive from Northland shopping centre and High Street (or a 10 minute bike ride). The house is tucked away from the street, so it is very quiet and has a nice alfresco area. There is air conditioning and ducted heating. Very modern house in a comfortable environment.
I am an open minded guy. I have 7 years experience to live with flat mates. I like to cook and I like to share food, stories and beer/wine. I am looking for a nice flat during my stay in Melbourne. I just finished my studies in Germany and atm I am on working holiday visa in Australia.
hi i'm Lane 🤗. - i crave community, culture, & creatives - i believe housemates make a home; and - the more the merrier - *these are a few of my favourite things-i-look-for-in-a-home... 🏠 i'm looking for a happy, healthy, humble inner north or west home; somewhere in/near the brunswick, thornbury, carlton, collingwood, fitzroy, footscray, north melbourne, abbotsford 'hoods. i'm a clean, considerate, creative kind who's also all the friendlies — gender, orientation, environment et. al. i lean left, arty, literaturely, and non-binararilly, and i'm house-proud, house-happy, and open to short-term or long-term options. i'm looking for a warm, welcoming, inclusive, clean, open, and honest home; i co-live well and respect my own time and space as much I do that of others. I'm looking to live with people who *want to live* with other people, and share life and laughs together when we can and/or care to. i love the usuals — books, arts, film, photography, music, people — and i'm fond of the ukulele, rubik's cube, and learning new things, because, this is how we grow. i'm trying/dying to improve my sign language skills too so if you can help me I'll love you forever. i rarely do tv though I love documentaries and film. i'm an environmentally-considerate car owner so parking is a consideration for me, and i have a small social enterprise called SAYSO I'm about to launch: social causes are close to my heart.
