Heya. I've just moved to Melbourne by way of Brisbane and before that, Canberra, for work with the APS. I'm clean, tidy and bill-punctual, chill, tall and nerdish; a longtalker, deadpan and absurdist banterer, dank meme connoisseur, humanities graduate, reliably good for drinks, games, generating food, dumb jokes, and making hay out of city loife. Pets are a life goal; big, sympatico, gender balanced share-households (4+) are a longstanding preference. I’m looking for the premium Melbourne sharehouse experience with some harmonious characters, somewhere colourful, inner-northish, with a bit of a garden and within reasonable riding distance of the CBD. I'm currently staying in Northcote with fam so I can move whenever, or even get on board with a team-up with other cool interlopers. If you've got a space to match and think that we might gel, don’t hesitate, shoot me a DM and let me know. No roomshares pls. Thank
I am a clean person especially in shared areas, I love to cook and I like to share what I cook (for a gold coin donation). I paint and am quite a recluse. I like to watch horrible tv shows and listen to indie music and chill. I like some wine and a movie. I am not a party animal, or a smoker. I keep to myself but I do like to have a chat and a giggle with my house mates when I'm home. However university and work keep me quite busy so I only really have one day off a week. I would potentially like to get a cat. As a side note though i am looking for a large room. Preferably around 4x4ish. Thanks for reading.
I'm looking for an unfurnished, spacious room where I can easily fit my queen-sized bed and my desk. About me, I'm a software developer working on a full time basis in the CBD. My working hours are usually crazy, so I'm not home until 8 or 9 pm everyday. I'm a chill person who enjoys chats over a meal or a few drinks, and I definitely enjoy a good movie. My partner lives in Sydney and he visits every 2 or 3 weeks for the weekend. So leave me a message if you think I can fit into your house or apartment :)
I've recently relocated from Brisbane to Melbourne to pursue creative endeavours (bit cliche but...y'know). I'm tidy and reliable but also chilled out and enjoy a homely comfortable environment that I look forward to coming home to. I mostly like drawing, reading and exploring places on foot as well as checking out galleries whenever I can. I've lived in sharehouses since I was 18 so well and truly sharehouse broken (respectful of other people's space and privacy and know the ins and outs of living with others). It'd be sweet to find friends in my new housemates but I'm also pretty independent and enjoy doing my own thing as well as hanging out (I have a few friends here so you don't have to worry about me being a stage 5 clinger). I'm looking for somewhere where I can get settled/feel at home and stay longterm. If you're interested in creative stuffs that'd be sweet but not a requirement. I also have a fridge as well as other kitcheny/house stuff if needed but if not that's cool too. Mostly just looking for a rad new house with some rad new people! PS If you have any pets I'd be proper happy to have some furry friends around!
This Anna and Corrado. We are looking for a nice place to share with other people. I am an archeologist working in Victoria and Corrado studies cinema. We always lived with other people that soon became our family. After long time, we are going to live in the same city so we would love to live in the same house! We love music, music, chilling out and relax watching a movie or reading a book.
Hiya I'm 32, female and studying Social Work Masters and also working full time. I'm pretty active, I do yoga a few times a week, mefitate, run and like to get outdoors when I can. I'm pretty considerate of others, clean and dont really have parties. I like to read and listen to music and I don't watch TV. I'm looking for a chilled and respectful home. Cheers! Fallon
I am 24 and am looking to move into a place around Preston/Thornbury/Northcote area. I work in Myer and study Psychology online. I'm considerate, clean, and mostly keep to myself. I enjoy reading, discovering new music, and learning new recipes. I do most of my partying outside the home and would like somewhere to call home, rather than a 'party' house or just somewhere to stay. If you think we'd get along, send me a message and let's meet for a coffee.
I am a researcher at the University of Melbourne. I've spent the past year undertaking fieldwork in Europe so I am looking forward to settling back down in a friendly share house.
Hey! I'm Yasmjne but everyone calls me Yas, unless I've done something terribly wrong. I'm currently working part time until I can start studying again next year. I find myself to not only be more of the silent type when pottering around but be more of a person to not be seen much but I will do a lot of cleaning normally and some cooking; so in that regard you'll see a lot of me, otherwise you won't see much of me. I like to believe (and from others) that I'm a nice down to earth person. Working part time as a bartender and nanny my hours are insane, hence my silence and not being around often, but according to those whom I have lived with previously, they don't even hear me come in in the mornings. I like dogs (I have a puppa myself who lives elsewhere but I constantly vist), books, cartoons / anime, travel and cups of tea. I'm not sure what else to say, besides I do talk a lot when you do catch me and I'm a fairly open book. Some of this stuff is super corny and cheesy, but I guess that's just who I am :) On a side note I'd trade a puppy for a kid any day, I love kids, that's why I nanny, but I'm more fond of puppies. So if you have a dog that's an extra bonus, I'll love it like there's no tomorrow. My ex's cat tried to kill me 3 times in one night, so, cats aren't my thing but I'll try love your cat if you have one.
My name is Patty, I'm 23, I am a full-time student studying business and keep really busy with uni. I am a pretty independent person, down to chill and have a chat over weekends but during the week I keep to myself and focus on my uni and work. I love to do some cooking or baking on weekends with some wine or a cider to chill. Not into big house parties unless its a rare and special occasion. I like to live in a clean house as I feel it creates a happy place to come home to and its soothing to the mind so I like to keep things neat and tidy! I'm half Australian and half Balinese so I've grown up all around the Asia and I am currently in my second year living and studying in Australia and I absolutely love it. Don't have any pets, kids and am non-smoker. You can trust me to keep to myself for most of the time, always happy to have a chat and appreciate and respect personal space. Happy to live with like-minded people. Cheers :)
Hi! My name is Cathy, I'm 19 and two years ago I moved from Sydney to Melbourne and have been living on campus at La Trobe University since then. Studying Prosthetics and Orthotics, and as the university holidays are coming I'm looking for a place to stay for 2-3 months. I work part time (mostly evening/overnight), pay my bills on time, neat, keep to myself but know when to socialise. Few things, I love cats, interested in improving my cooking skills, and binge watching netflix shows will be very major. Gotta be near tram 86 or near the south morang train line - completely dependent on PTV. I can move in around November and just need it until late January or mid February. Furnished room with just a single bed or something would be fabulous. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hi there! I am 24 years old fresh Economics graduate from Poland. I am coming to Melbourne in November as I got Work and Holiday visa. My plan is to stay there up to a year, working full time, overally having fun and gathering good experience. I'd love to share a space with friendly, chill people around my age, as I am super easy going, sociable person. But at the same time, I sometimes like to spend time on my own and I'm happy to give you same opportunity. As for my spare time - I love music, enjoy watching series (compulsively), doing sports (at least trying), being out for gigs or other cultural events. What I'm seeking to is a private room in a tidy sharehouse or an apartment with 2-3 flatmates at most. Available from 24th Novemeber. Team-ups also welcome! I prefer rather female or mixed company. Rent duration is 1 month at least, up to 6 months, generally flexible, according to how it's gonna work. My long-distance plans are quite unknown as I'm willing to travel around Australia but 3 months stay in Melbourne is total minimum. If you feel that we could get along well living together, please feel free to text me :)
Hi, I'm Elya! I've been in Melbourne for almost 3 years, originally from Malaysia. I'm currently an Arts student and will be graduating soon. Looking for a place to stay over the summer (but hopefully longer!) while I figure out what's next. Dates are sort of flexible. For potential roommates: I'm clean and tidy, still learning how to cook, not much into parties, here to listen to you vent over a glass of wine after a long day, and always up to binge watch tv shows. That being said, I will definitely respect your privacy and if you want to keep to yourself, that's cool too. If you're interested / want to know anything else, feel free to contact me! Bonus points if you have a cat.

I'm clean and respectful person who enjoy having a chat and a laugh, sociable and looking forward to meet new people. This is a beautiful house located in a fantastic area. We'd love to meet you and see if you're the perfect fit. There is unlimited wifi here $20 per month All bills are split 3 ways Off street parking available. It's a 2 minute drive to High St, 5 minute drive to Northland shopping centre, there's a Safeway and Aldi on this street so everything is right where you need it. There is a bus stop at the front of the house and if you are a public transport user, it's a 20 min walk to the nearest train station.
Hi everyone, I am 22 years old and i work full time at a hospital. I am travelling back home to Argentina in December, so i am only looking for a room for short stay. My current lease ends on the 8th November, and i am looking for a room in the areas of Heidelberg, Preston, Reservoir, Northcote etc. Shoot me a message! 🙂
The apartment: It's on the first floor and has two bedrooms. The spare room is unfurnished, has a good size (about 2. 7 m X 3. 7 m), would easily fit bed and side table, has a big window, is carpeted, no built-in wardrobe. The rest of the apartment is furnished. We also have air conditioner and gas heater. You're welcome to bring your furnitures as well. The apartment is a bit old, which is why the rent is so low for this area. But it is cute and comfortable, and everything is working perfectly. Street parking is available. Location: really good location. 350m to High St (Tram 86), 10 mins walk to Croxton Train station (south morang train line). Close to Northcote shopping plaza and 'Welcome to Thornbury'. Close to Northcote aquatic centre. Rent: The rent is paid monthly, 730 dollars/month (internet bill included, unlimited TPG). Bond 700 dollars. Long term stay preferred. We'll share the gas/water/electricity bills, which comes every two or three months. You: are able to pay the rent on time, generally clean and tidy. Extra points if you treat renting place like home. Feel free to drop me a message if you're interested. Say something about yourself, what you do and what you like, and we can arrange a time for you to come and have a look!
Hey guys, I am looking for a room ( it's fine without bed, I got one ). Please don't too far to La trobe university cause I study in there and I don't have car. I'm friendly to pets ( except spider or snake ). I'm from China. I have 4 years share house experience in Melbourne. 🤓I'm a easy going man and not a party animal. Sometimes I will keep quiet in my room or hang out with friends. I'd like to chat with new mate and learn new culture or language from them :) I hope we can be good friend. I respect my roommate and I know how to keep privacy. Most important thing is, I pay rent on time. Btw, I'm good on cooking. Have lived in a shared household before. If you want to know more or have any questions feel free to ask. Much appreciated for your reading. Alex
I'm a law student at LaTrobe, orginally from country Victoria and I work part time at Crown in the city! I play baseball throughout the week and on the weekends, too. I absolutely love to read and go to the theatre and I also quote The Office a little bit too much as well. I'm generally pretty quiet during the semester and spend a lot of time studying at the library (I go stay with my boyfriend a few times in the week, too) but I won't object to having a bevvy or three with roommates. I have all my own furniture, linen and all that jazz. I am also vegan but I promise I'm not mean and I pretty much do my own thing with food. I have my own knives and pans and all that, and I'm even happy to cook a vegan meal for everyone on occasion.
Large private room for a couple or single in a surprisingly spacious blue and brown cottage with large backyard. A 90 second run from Thornbury Station, 5 minute walk to trams 11 & 86. Markets and necessities nearby. Note that the room is not suitable for light sleepers with the train and crossing is nearby. The room can be semi furnished if needed, or left empty. The rest of the house is furnished and has very little storage space. There are four resident fish and sometimes one neighbourhood cat. Pets welcome. This place isn't a palace, but is a bit special if kept clean. A knack for counteracting the slopes in the floor with plants or wood pieces is handy, as is the inclination to pull weeds every now and then to keep the gardens under control. The affectionately named 'Ski Lodge' or 'Clap Hams' house will be demolished no earlier than February/March 2017 to make way for more apartments. And a sad day it will be. Rent for the room is paid monthly at $1386 ($693 each per month), not including bills and internet. Short term welcome. Travelers welcome.
I'm an international student, 32 years old, ex-graphic designer, now getting into early childhood education. Easy going, working and studying, quite busy, tidy and organized, love to learn about everything, movies, comics, respectful with personal spaces.
I am no fuss guy who gets along with people well. I like to do my share of duties on time and maintain cleanliness in the place.I can share couple of beers with anyone but respect personal space of everyone. Also I am student at University of Melbourne and work in a telesales company so rent will always be paid in time upfront.
Hi there! I'm an easy going, clean and mature housemate looking for a room to call home from 27 October to 12 November. I'm originally from Tassie and have been renting in Melbourne for the last five years. I currently work full-time in marketing and merchandising. I enjoy a laugh and a chat but also value and respect personal space. I'm an active person and a big foodie, so in my free time I'm often eating out or exercising. I'm very mindful of energy use and recycling. If you think I could be a good fit for your home, please get in touch!
Quiet, not really the partying kind and teetotaler. I mind my own business. Good engager in conversations. Comfortable with pets if you have any. LGBT friendly. Very clean and tidy. I speak 5 languages and like cooking, music, horror movies and working out. I move to melbourne in February and would love to hear from you if you feel i fit the description of an ideal housemate/tenant.
I'm a full time nanny, animal lover and spend my winters snowboarding whenever I can! I love to cook and enjoy an after work whiskey and netflix with friends. I'm very open minded, respectful and understand that we all need our own space at times. I enjoy keeping a clean and tidy house hold, I'm a non-smoker and I believe I'm an absolute pleasure to live with!
