Apart from being a beautiful, renovated apartment with a rooftop terrace on the eighth floor in central Toowong, it has wonderful bus, train and ferry connections to the city, UQ, Indooroopilly shopping town and is one station away from the Wesley hospital and the newly opened private hospital at Taringa. A bus stops outside the building to go to UQ. This is an unusual rental arrangement in that we are retired teachers who like to travel. We go away for 2-3 months at a time and like to use the apartment as a base to see family and friends when we come home. We are looking for a responsible single or couple who are easy to get on with and would care for our home while we're away. Last year we traveled to the UK, Eastern Europe, Italy, Greece and Indonesia. We lived in China and Hong Kong for many years and still have itchy feet. Although we are retired we are flexible and friendly. Last year we ran an airbnb backpackers for a few weeks and had return bookings as they enjoyed staying with us. The bathroom arrangement is flexible. There is a large bathroom with two basins and the main bedroom has an ensuite. The price is negotiable depending on whether you are a single or couple and whether you require a shared bathroom or ensuite. We are flexible on this.

Utilities and all kinds of facilities (such as 24/7 gym, a big roof terrace with a community kitchen and a swimming pool, video games room, study rooms, community space for board games or ping pong ) are included in the price, so you won't need to have to pay for an extra gym or swimming pool in Brisbane. There also two or three events with free food every week. There is an aircon is the bedroom, in the living room and in the kitchen. Living here is both better and cheaper than the residential student colleges.

The location could not be any better, I could literally throw a stone at the citycat ferry terminal from my balcony that overlooks the river. Toowong shopping centre is a 5min walk where the train also stops. The bus stops 10 steps from the driveway depending on destination, if not it is also a 5min walk to the next stop.
