I'm currently living in Alexandria and looking to move further north for cheaper rents and to be closer to family and friends. I'm generally busy 5-6 days a week working and studying tourism in the city so I'm not around too often. I rely on public transport so I would ideally like to live within 15 mins walking distance of a train station and supermarket. I'm clean, tidy and considerate and not really up for house parties but happy to share the occasional dinner, daily catch up or beverage of an evening. That said, I also value my own space. I have all my own bedroom furniture but nothing extra however I'm happy to contribute to purchasing other furniture if needed. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, Netflix, reading the occasional book and hanging out with friends.
I'm from Cairns, I have just graduated from school and I have deferred my course at Medical school for 12 months, so I have decided to move out from my family and just experience something new and different this year. I'm a pretty easy going guy and likes almost anything, I also can do chores and errands and know how to cook a little. I'm a non-smoker with no pets and looking for a quiet place to stay. I am still currently living in Cairns, but I am intending to find a place to move down in early April.
My name is Emma, I am 18 and a qualified hairdresser working 6-7 days a week. I'm a hardworking, neat and highly organised person. Active and a Vegetarian, who's big on cooking. Friendly, easy going and reliable.
One bedroom available for rent in a two bedroom apartment. Within walking distance to both a Pymble and Turramurra stations. The room is decent sized with a mirrored built in wardrobe and Juliet balcony. Ducted aircon throughout the apartment and you'd have full, private use of the main bathroom Open plan living and dining flowing out to a large balcony. The propert is already completely furnished so would suit someone with minimal furniture. There is a storage cage available in the basement garage which only has a few items in it and would also be available to store belongings if needed
I am friendly, considerate, responsible, tidy, trustworthy and fun! I am a 2015 graduate geotechnical engineer from the University of Queensland, that has travelled Europe, Scandinavia and recently returned from working abroad in the UK. I have just secured an awesome permanent junior geotechnical engineer offer, which I am very greatful for, at Macquarie Park, Sydney which begins on the 20th March! Having to relocate to Sydney from Brisbane I am looking for shared housing, apartments, etc. Note: I am required to drive into work, so I will have a Kia Rio to park either off street or garaged. I love Salsa dancing, playing guitar in bands, volunteering at youth groups, keeping fit, engaging with new people and making friends. I am looking forward to settling long term into Sydney and sharing a new home locality with a great bunch of people.
Qing and I are are both easy going, all accepting lovers of life. I am a skilled massage therapist of over 13 years and Qing is a highly attentive part-time Yoga teacher and full time translator. If there are any health concerns for our family and friends, one or both of us will have ways to help (if we are asked), that said, if anyone wants to live an unhealthy lifestyle, we support that too! Life is meant to be enjoyed, what ever that means to you (so long as your not hurting anyone else). I'm also a mild adrenaline junkee. I used to ride motorbikes but one too many accidents has lead to interventions by my family and friends. So, I'm banned from motorbikes. Fair enough i guess, I always say "enjoy life however you please, so long as your not hurting anyone else", and it sure does upset my mum and a few others when I get busted up. So, trampoline parks seem to be my most dangerous activity these days. Qing is a very active (and very small) young lady with a thirst for knowledge and always keen for a laugh, even at her own expense (or mine). She will try anything once, but usually doesn't give up until her skills have been honed. She is a terrible cook, but her determination is paying off as her skills are improving. Her family owns a tea farm in China, so she can tell you all kinds of amazing things about tea. she also enjoys studying with Coursea, so she know all kinds of stuff about all kinds of things. She is also a talented belly-dancer. Her father instilled a philosophy quite deeply in her to never show off or try to draw praise, so she is very humble and unassuming, only expressing her knowledge when its necessary or if asked.
Im fun, quirky and love a good show to binge watch on Netflix (hibernation style). I also love a good chat after work and becoming friends with my flatmates. I know how to cook, i'm tidy and happy to help with anything if needed.
I'm a friendly, sociable and approachable person. I'm a high school English and history teacher. I have a great sense of humour, I am tidy, clean and organised. I love to cook, read and go for walks to unwind.
Looking to move out of home, moving out for the first time but have boarded at school so I have a good understanding of sharing space. Studying psychology at the moment, working part time in retail and childcare in the Hornsby area. would also be able to support myself through centrelink's youth allowance as a student living out of home. Always happy to chill out and chat after work or uni, not a massive party animal but also don't mind meeting people if roommates like having people over. would prefer to be close to a train station or bus stop.
Hi, I'm from the Netherlands and I am coming to Australia for an internship of nursing. Because I'm working in shifts I like to live with someone who is considerate about this (of course I'll do the same for you!). I'm friendly, fun and good company! I love to eat and to socialize, so I will always be up for an nice evening of cooking and wine! But I'm also fine by watching some series in my room by my own. I've been to Sydney before but I would love to discover some new spots there!
Hi, My name is Ingrid and I am a 25 year old teacher currently living in St Ives. I am looking to share either an apartment, house or townhouse and am looking for a room with an ensuite/own bathroom. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hey there ! Darren and myself are a super easy going pair who both have full time jobs in the North but, don't mind the train trip as we love the CBD! We're low key during the week and go and explore on the weekends. We like respectful people & a clean place and a cheeky glass of wine and chat every now and then and love all Sydney has to offer ! :D flick me a message if this sounds like a good match !
Hi there, my name is Jane, 25 year old and I am an ICU nurse working in a private hospital on the north shore. I am looking for a place to relax after work but also to have a chat and hang out. I am outgoing, friendly and love to travel...plus I can make a mean coffee! Perks of trying to find a way to keep awake after long hours haha. I don't smoke and I am always up for teamwork when it comes to cleaning. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
I am an ex New Yorker whom works as project manager in a large bank in Sydney. My girlfriend is from Indonesia and works as a book keeper. We are both mature, fun and respect others privacy. If you require any further information, please feel free to drop me a line
Hi, my name is Josh. I have just moved down from Gold Coast into the Sydney area and am looking for a place to rent close to work. Originally grew up in the Blue Mountains, and then moved to gold Coast at around 18 years old. Work and study has brought me back to Sydney now. Very clean, respectful, reliable & punctual. Rent will always be paid on time. I am working full time within construction Monday - Saturday. With what spare time I have left, I spend it studying my Paramedicine degree which is being done via correspondence which I am almost 2 years into. I also play football on the weekend :) Feel free to send me through a text if you feel I fit the description with who your looking for.
I'm easygoing and friendly, but I respect other's space and privacy. I'm tidy, quiet and clean - and happily do my share of the house and garden chores. I'm looking for a peaceful, friendly house, maybe sharing a glass of wine, even a meal every now and then, but I don't want to live in a party house. I like to socialise with my housemates, but also like my own space. I watch the odd program on TV, but I'm not glued to it. Also, I'm a non-smoker and my preference is to live in a non-smoking house. I have two beautiful pets - a 5yr old border collie called Mr Finn who is super friendly (everyone that meets him falls in love with him!), well behaved and I keep him clean and well groomed. I also walk him at least 2 hours a day and take him sheepherding now and then (!) so he's quiet and relaxed when he's home. I also have a 7yr old cat called Kitwe (named after a small town in Zambia) who pretty much sleeps and eats and has a playtime every now and then. They are inside/outside pets, so they need to be allowed into the house. I'm currently working part time (online from home as a VA) and studying part time, as well as building my own business, so I will spend a fair amount of time doing my own thing. I'm looking for either a share house with only one or two other housemates, or a garden cottage/studio. I also need a garden that is fenced so my pets can spend time out there safely. I have great references, both in Australia and overseas. I've lived in my current place for 18 months, and previously in my own place for 5 years (overseas) and in Australia before that. I have shared before (I'm sharing now) and I'm still great friends with some of my ex house mates. I'm originally from the UK (a long time ago!), but I emigrated to Australia nearly 30 years ago, after spending many years mostly in South Africa. If you want to ask me any questions - send me a message and I'll reply as soon as I see it! Thanks!
One fully furnished bedroom available for rent in a lovely house and garden. The house offers WiFi and features an outdoor balcony with BBQ. The room comes fitted with a TV outlet for personal TV use. The property is in a great, highly-sought after upper North Shore location. It is directly opposite the Eastern Road shops which include an IGA and chemist. Bus stops are located right outside the door with services to Hornsby, Turramurra and Macquarie University. It is also a comfortable 15 min walk to Turramurra Station. Room is available from 17 January 2017.
We are quiet, we clean up after ourselves and we tend to a low profile. I'm a support care worker and my husband works at Aldi. We like watching movies and English soccer, going out and spending time with family and friends.
I'm always friendly and up for a chat. I'm a little OCD so you don't have to worry about mess or cleaning up after me. I love all things music, I sing and play guitar - but if you need some quiet that's completely fine with me too
I am working full time in Gordon, and fly in and out of WA, 9 days in Sydney and 5 in WA. Quiet, non smoker, working long hours so really just need a good place to sleep and relax. I am 46 and married but family is staying in WA.
Hey! My name is Tahlia. I am clean and don't drink or smoke and am a full time student at Kuringgai High School. I work casually at a local cafe and I am studying a nursing course at St Leonard's Tafe. I am very easy going and friendly and would put in my fair share of housework and cooking. I would love to learn and gain experienced advice from my roomates to help me achieve my dream career and living situation. I hope you consider me to take up the position as your roommate and get back to me as soon as you can! Thank you for your time, Tahlia xo
