Hi! I’m a full-time software engineer in my early 30s (female). I don’t have pets or children, and I’m a non-smoker. I’m an early riser and generally keep things quiet and low-key at home. I prefer brief day-to-day chats but am always happy to have a proper conversation if we both feel like it. A few things about me: * I mostly work from home—usually 5 days a week, from 9 to 5 (or sometimes 8 to 4). I have online team meetings 2–3 times a week and always wear a headset during those meetings. I can also commute to the city and use the office space if needed; it’s just that working from home is very welcome in my team. * I have two 27-inch monitors that sit on the table (no need to mount them on the wall). I just need to make sure there’s enough space in my allocated room, either with my own desk or one that’s provided, so I can set them up side by side. * Not a party person—at home, I wear sandals to keep things quiet, and I use earplugs or a headset to focus (mostly on workdays). If things ever get a bit too noisy, I’ll gently let you know. * I like pets of all kinds and am not allergic. I’m happy to help out with feeding or care as a favour now and then, but I might not be the best long-term pet-sitter if you’re away for several days. * I always pay rent on time—preferably by BPAY transfer (happy to do this in front of you), rather than cash. * I’m open to discussing anything important, whether by text, notes, or face-to-face. Happy to have regular housemate catch-ups at a time we both agree on. * I’d appreciate knowing your routines (e.g., shower/laundry/kitchen times, housekeeping preferences, etc.) so I can fit in and follow along. * I’m totally fine with you having friends, family, or partners over—just let me know in advance if anyone’s staying overnight or hanging out in the shared spaces for a while, so I can plan my routine (and remember to say hi and be polite!).
