Hello there! If you're after a housemate who's tidy, respectful, and practically lives at their computer, I'm your guy. I am fairly social in my own introverted way, so if we have similar interests, I'd be keen to hang out. Some of my interests and hobbies: - Game development 💻✨ - Digital art and animation 🎨🖌️ - Video games, mainly Nintendo stuff 🎮 - Japan! I used to work there, and it's such a great place 🇯🇵🍣🗻 Looking to move somewhere in Sydney, but I'm pretty flexible about location. Ideally somewhere quiet and laid back. If it sounds like we'd get along, feel free to get in touch. Bonus points if you include a fox emoji in your message so I know you actually read my profile. HOUSE/ROOM REQUIREMENTS: I need enough space for both a double bed and a work desk. If it's just one bedroom, then realistically I'd need a room with one wall at least 3.4m long to make that work, depending on the room layout. My livelihood depends on having a proper computer setup, so this isn't something I can work around. I'm sensitive to noise. I need to be able to sleep at night, and focus during the day. Bird noise, traffic, and being close to train lines are all things I'm wary of. Aircon is important, even if it's just in the living room. I'd hesitate to rent a place without it. I play a lot of console games, so having a decent couch + TV setup in the living room is pretty important to me. I wouldn't use it all the time, but I'd want it to be available if I have friends over. I'd like to have some influence on the shared living spaces. I have plenty of my own stuff, and some of it that I'd like to be able to display (and consoles to setup near the TV). I don't want to live somewhere where all the changes I suggest get vetoed, or the shared spaces are being used as someone else's work study... HOUSEMATE EXPECTATIONS: As a baseline: I clean up after myself, I'm not noisy, I contribute to chores around the house, and if there are any issues, I can talk them out like an adult. It's basic stuff, but I'd expect the same from the people I'm living with. I really value people who are friendly, helpful and generally keen to do stuff, even if it's just having tea and catching up every now and then. I'd feel weird living with people I never interact with. There are a lot of people on here just looking for someone to pay rent and stay out of their lives, and honestly I think that's super lame.

Quiet Flatshare Wanted by Remote IT Pro | Gym + Pool Access preferred, WON'T be living there full-time most likely, also I am outside the unit a lot (both night and day). Hey there! I’m a remote/hybrid IT Cloud Engineer & Web Developer looking for a med-term flatshare (to begin with) in Waterloo, Zetland, Hurstville or nearby areas, may be soon working hybrid in the North Shore (Chatswood). Ideally, I’m seeking a place that’s quiet, clean, and health-conscious. I frequent tech meetups in the city, so being nearby helps me dearly. 🏡 What I’m Looking For: - A calm environment with 2-3 flatmates. (4 may be acceptable too). - Access to a gym & indoor pool (or nearby aquatic centre). - Open to me working quietly some late nights at my laptop, I do a lot of async work then and snack a bit. Mostly a night owl when off work. - Close to public transport (train - not required if inner city) & supermarket. - Own room preferred (private bathroom a bonus, but not a dealbreaker). - No car parking needed; bike parking a plus. 👨‍💻 About Me: - Remote/Hybrid worker, passionate about gym, swimming, e-biking, tennis, and badminton. - I’m health-focused, enjoy simple cooking (mostly microwave or delivery), and love Asian food. - Cat lover (don’t have one, but would love if you do). - I work from home, often attending tech meetups in the CBD. - I value peaceful vibes and like my space but enjoy a clean, shared home with flatmates who are easygoing. - Occasionally stay at my partner's, but still need my own space. - Big fan of saving for travel or just a generally longer runway for a startup or life's plans; looking to cut rent costs for more lifestyle flexibility (dreaming of Southeast Asia 🌏). Bonus: - I can share a great green energy deal offering credits and competitive rates (ask me about it or check it out here https://switch.ovoenergy.com.au/?utm_source=RAF&utm_content=stefan1446, have since switched to other $200 off promos at Energy Australia). - I have the cheapest NBN plan (it's $28/pm, 25Mbps down/5up, does the job and I'm in IT), we can switch it over. You won't find anything cheaper. - Also, bike-friendly, I commute via e-bike or e-scooter 🚲⚡. If you’ve got a room available or know of a good place, feel free to get in touch! Looking forward to finding the right spot and people to call my next caring home. 🏡
