I am currently working full time in the UK but in May I leave to go travelling through Asia and will end up in Sydney around the middle of August. I currently live in the countryside in a small county called Suffolk and I live on my family farm. I have traveled quite a lot and been to around 19 different countries. I love my music, there isn't a day where I don't listen to some! Once in Sydney I seek to get some bar work or office jobs depending on what I can get, I plan to stay for just under a year and then head North to gain my second year visa. I am a very active person and would look to join a hockey club but I also like going on a night out in the town once a month or so. Most of my friends would say that I am very out going and not a bad cook either, so if you're lucky I'll make you my signature cobb salad and profiteroles! I am a very tidy person I hate mess but I'm not a control freak either, I am also pretty domesticated I know how to clean, iron, wash, cook etc so I am happy to share the house chorus. My ideal housemates would be people that want to once a week or so have a night in cooking and watch a movie but also have our own lives! While I am full of positive energy I’m also very considerate of others space and quiet around home as I have two little dogs so am busy with them from the minute I get home to the moment I leave again. I’m looking for a place where my dogs will be welcome and safe in an outdoor area during the days, and ok to be in the house when I’m home. They’re toy sized Italian greyhounds- they don’t malr or bark, are trained and are very cat like in temperament and size. Everybody that has lived with us has fallen in love with them and stays in touch with us, wanting to catch up with the dogs probably more than me. I’ve taken a break to study between work contracts and am hoping to move as soon as possible so I can get started with next project having the move already taken care of. I have a car but I rarely use it so street parking is fine. The most important thing to me is that my dogs will be safe and secure and welcome dogs by other people living with them.

23 y/o Dutch Cultural Studies student, looking for a place in the Eastern suburbs. I'm passionate about my studies, digging vinyl, thriftstore-treasure-hunts, finding gems in little, hidden bookshops, visiting museums and just enjoying everything nice that Sydney has to offer. I'll be doing my own research at UNSW, so I'll be a busy girl reading about history, philosophy and critical cultural theory. As for living, I'm looking for a shared house with calm and open minded people who have their shit together (or at least semi-together :-) ). I love a little creativity and social spirit around me, but at times I also need my own space, just reading a book or finding new recipes to try out in the kitchen.. Apartment feels more like a house. In the building is only 4 apartments. Right from doorstep is a Vauclause park, from where you can walk to Watsons Bay and Rose Bay. In the neighbourhood is plenty of coffee places and restaurants to choose from. Commuting is very easy. You can take ferry from Rose Bay or Watsons Bay to Circular Quay, or jump in a bus to Bondi Junction or Edgecliff. All the beautiful beaches are nearby and coastal walks. If you enjoy outdoors and nature, Vauclause is perfect spot for you. It is safe and quiet but still with in 10- 15 minutes from all activities that you can have in eastern suburbs.
