I am 59yrs old, ex-Army veteran, ex-security, non-smoker or drinker. I used to own a home in Capalaba, until my divorce 5yrs ago :( Since then i have rented a unit, and been a boarder for last 3yrs. I'm very quiet and respectful of privacy and boundries. Happy to assist around the home - mowing, cleaning, etc. I don't often cook (Youfoodz) and always clean as i go. I own operate a mobile dog grooming van, working a 7 day fortnight - semi retired. I would be paying my rent directly from my Army pension via direct deposit. I am a Ulysses Motorcycle Club member, and mostly only ride on Sundays, (will push the bike down the street before starting it). I am an avid rock 'n' roll dancer, and regular gym attendee and have lived in the Capalaba area since 1999. I am ideally hoping to share a home with the owner/s, and have my own bedroom and bathroom. Prefer to be the only housemate. Separate entry would be great too, and secure (out of sight), undercover location for my motorcycle please. Of course, situations are never "ideal" and i will consider anything on offer. I don't have to move from my current situation until next year, but will, if the right place pops up. You'll be surprised just how big a townhouse can be, plus it's only a short walk to shops, bus stop and a lovely park. 10 mins from wynnum/manly. 6 mins to Gateway Motorway and 25 mins to the CBD. Where do I begin? The house is fully furnished EXCEPT for the bedrooms. I have a cosy living room with an expansive DVD collection. The kitchen is perfectly suited to those who love to cook with loads of bench space, extra wide oven and a 5 burner gas stove! I have a lovely little furnished courtyard which is perfect for sitting outside to enjoy your morning coffee or having a few beers/wines in the late afternoon or evening. The house has ducted air con through out, which I am happy for you to use because I know I sure can't live without it! There is internet available for you to use and there is Stan and Netflix as well. The location is amazing as the townhouse is around the corner from the Gumdale Village, which has the Gumdale Tavern, an IGA and several delicious cafes and restaurants just to name a few. Mayfair village which has a Woolies, is about a 7 minute drive. The house is definitely not a party house, I am ok with you having a couple of friends over for quiet get togethers, but nothing too rowdy will be tolerated. I'm ok with partner's staying over 2-3 nights max a week. Anything more than that and a couple's rate will have to be arranged. If you are FIFO you are also welcome and I am open to negotiation for the cost of rent. If you are a couple looking for a place, please feel free to contact me! I will gladly accept a couple, but we will negotiate a different price and the 3rd bedroom will potentially become a spare as I don't wish for the house to become overcrowded. Hi lovely ladies and gents! I am positive, energetic, passionate and driven! I do love a tidy house, but it also has to be lived in and homely. I also like to find the perfect balance of being social and my own space. I do have 2 beautiful rescue dogs, a red cattle - Ned, and a kelpie cross - Knuckles. They are my absolute babies so my roomies must love dogs! I do have them inside with me whenever I am home, i would also like my roomy to let them in and be genuinely pleasant with them. They are lovely natured, clean and have great personalities! I am not too fussed on the size of the yard as i do walk/jog them morning and night, just aslong as they have a bit of room to move and play. I would love to live near a park/walking track. I loooove to cook, sometimes its great, other times it can be a disaster! :D but hey, thats an excuse to get take out right? I do work full time and am in the process of gaining employment in the brissy area, but i will always have a job, I also study architecture full time, so i dont have too much free time. Hi there, my name is Roger and I've been thinking about teaming up or renting a room in Manly/ Wynnum as well as Lota or surrounding areas. I'm in Perth at the moment selling everything to move to Brisbane in September, just keeping a few things like my car/bed/tv and maybe my large fridge. Renting my own house out for a few years here in Perth, I work FIFO so ill be flying in and out from Brisbane to Perth to fly to work. On my RnR I do photography. I am 51yrs young hahaha & I don't drink or smoke or do drugs, I don't need any of those to have fun or enjoy life. I'll be flying back to NZ a lot more to see my family as well, very clean, no dramas with house cleaning. Very respectful, & no need to worry about rent.
