We are a family of 4 and have a granny flat for rent. This is a big room however suit only one occupant. We are a very quiet family so we expect the same from you. This would be ideal for a student as this is separate from the main house and you are left alone to do your studies. The granny flat has cupboards, a student desk, bed, arm chair, a microwave, kettle, fridge and a washing machine. En-suite 6 mins walk to the Watsonia station and the shops Separate entry. Reverse cycle air conditioning and heating Double glazed windows, insulated walls so keeps very warm in winter Carpeted floor LED lighting Shared kitchen Water included. Electricity is on a separate meter, however the first 50KW (per each calendar month) are included in the rent. anything above will be calculated at 35cents a KW, which is what I pay to the electricity company. In my view 50KW is enough for a month for a single person. This is to ensure that do your part to conserve energy.
I work 25-30 hours a week in Doncaster. I'm a part time student at La Trobe Uni. 29 years old, non-smoker. I am fairly quiet, I enjoy video games, movies, rock gigs, playing chess and training taekwondo. Looking for somewhere that I can easily get to work and uni. I have my own bedroom furniture. I have a girlfriend who I spend weekends with and who would stay with me a few nights a week.
Hi, my name is Jen and I am a nurse. I am a friendly, down to earth and social person. I respect other people’s space and like my own space at times. I also like a clean environment but it doesn’t have to be perfect. Looking for 1-2 housemates :-). I am looking to move out the end of May, start of June as I don’t have much time to move out with work commitments. if you would like to know more or are interested in meeting don’t hesitate to privately message me! Thanks😊
Hi everyone :).. im moved to Melbourne from Adelaide a few years ago to study archaeology at La Trobe uni and im currently working part time in sales. I am a fairly tidy and organised person who would love to find others to live with who i can get on well with and interact with as room mates, but also have space to do our own thing. Im always up for a chat and to have fun doing whatever, possibly watching a movie or having a drink or two and im very friendly and easy going.. so if this sounds like you or someone you would like to live with then send me a message :)
I'm a 20 year old art student, working part time in hospitality. I'm quite easy going and love to have fun whether it be going out drinking and dancing or staying in watching movies and playing board games. I'd like to live in a home where we're not just roommates but friends! I like cooking and would love to have sit down dinners together now and again. I can also be a bit shy and timid though and like my alone time :p I'm looking to move out sometime in September definitely before the 20th.
We're looking for a place to call our own while we work at La Trobe University as an intern for our Forensic Science degree. We're originally from Holland, but traveling has always been second nature to us. We like our privacy, but do enjoy hanging with friends or going out for some fun activities (be it drinking at a bar, or going diving). We both do appreciate cleanliness, and do our best to keep a tidy room. Otherwise we're pretty laid back, enjoy reading books and walking dogs (P.S. If you have a dog, yes please!) and enjoy cooking as well as traveling. The ideal living situation for us would be 2 rooms in the same house/apartment, as soon as possible!
Hi and Namaste! We are a couple looking for a room to move in on January 2019. I know we are listing it too soon but we can't wait to be living together. We are both students who work part-time and have great interest in travelling from time to time. Both of us are clean, outgoing and fun to hang out with..hopefully! :) Preferring to stay near La trobe university as we are students. so do let us know. thank you xx
We are three girls from the country moving to the city for University. We are tidy, can cook and all enjoy our peace and quiet and our downtime. We love animals so if you have a pet even better! Although we are students we are still aiming to have a part time job as well so that we are financially stable! We are all down to earth and easy to get along with!
Hello everyone. My name is Jay. I recently moved back to Melbourne after staying with my parents in Country Vic. The house I'm currently in is up for sale and I am looking to move again. I need to move by the 6th of September. I'm on Centrelink and have a part-time paid volunteer role so there's no need to worry about rent or bills. I'm currently looking for another part-time or full-time job and preparing to study. Before I moved back with the parents I was living in Pakenham (on a lease) for 2 years while I was working as a firefighter and a security officer. I am quiet and keep to myself often. My partner and I mostly just watch movies in the bedroom. I will come out for food, movies or drinks if invited. I'm quirky like that. :) I'm perfectly house trained and don't make much of a mess anyway. I'm not too fussed about the room so long as I can fit a queen bed, a desk and somewhere for my clothes. I'm not allergic to any animals and if your dog needs a walk I'm happy to do it. I do smoke but only outside and not very often. I mostly smoke at work. so that's me in a nutshell. Hope to hear from you soon!

This townhouse is located along a busy road in Macleod, in a private estate. The parking space in a private double garage is gated for extra security. The townhouse is located 20 mins walk from either Macleod Station or Watsonia Station, approximately 30mins train ride to the CBD. A bus stop is located right outside the house which can take you directly to Greensborough Plaza and Watermarc. La Trobe University and RMIT Bundoora campus is close by. Both rooms available have 3 windows each, letting in plenty of sunlight. The house is fully furnished and has whole-house heating and air-conditioning, as well as access to Telstra Tv as part of the Internet package. This gives access to Netflix, Stan, Foxtel and other Tv amenities. There is a medium sized courtyard with a BBQ, which also gives access to the garage. A large open planned living space is included, as well as a laundry with a washing machine and a powder room downstairs. Upstairs is 2 bathrooms, one which is shared with another housemate, and one that is apart of the master suite as an ensuite. Both rooms have built in wardrobes and lush carpet. There is a large communal kitchen space, with a large fridge and pantry to share. I am looking for 2 females that I will be comfortable living with, and will in turn feel comfortable living with me. I wish for someone who is tidy and cleans up after themselves, and is easy-going and chill. Preferably someone who is either studying/ working part time/ working full time. There is space for 2 cars in the garage and plenty of space for personal belongings. Searching for a housemate who enjoys movie nights and the occasional coffee or hot chocolate hang out. I lead a busy schedule of work and study, so would like someone who doesn't mind too much that I might not be home all the time and is comfortable being themselves.
House is fully furnished apart from the room you would moving in to. Unlimited cable internet also available. We also have a fair sized backyard, with outdoor setting. We have one older labrador who is a very peaceful boy. He is 13yo and sleeps most of the day. Room is 3.2 x 3.2 metres including built-in robe.
