Hi, my name's Justin, I'm a 38 year old barista, and musician in my spare time. I'm pretty quiet around the house, but like to make a little noise with my guitar when no one is around (I have weekdays off, so this usually works out pretty well). I've been renting with a married couple in a house they own for nearly 4 years, and moving on due to upcoming renovations of my room. Always considerate, tidy, clean, think communication is important (like to know if I'm doing something that annoys others around the house, yet pretty tolerant of other's quirks). Always on time with rent, and like to keep on top of my share of house chores. Friendly, love a chat, but sometimes keep to myself for a while to rejuvenate after a day of working with people in hospitality. I'm looking to move within a month, and am free to move pretty much as soon as something suitable comes up. Thanks, Justin.
Am looking for a place to move out to for the first time. i think i would be a good pick to live with, have no bad habits except for the occasional drink on the weekend. i work full time worker for a tree removal crew. mostly keep to myself and trustworthy.
Hi! I moved to Melbourne in February of last year and have lived on campus for the past two years. This year I moved into an apartment with some other students, and we've had a great time living together. I'm clean, happy to do my share of cleaning and housework and pay my rent and bills on time each month. I do tend to keep to myself sometimes, but I love a good chat over some TV or while cooking. I'm friendly, considerate and clean up after myself. I'll always respect your privacy and leave you alone if need be. I understand that everyone needs time to themselves sometimes. I'm currently studying nursing at La Trobe and will be finishing my final year of uni in 2018. My classes are at the Austin Hospital, and so I'm hoping to live in a suburb nearby thats easily accessible by public transport. I also work casually at Big W, but am hoping to get a second job in the next month or so. I'm excited to finally live off campus and move in with some friendly roommates!
Hi, I'm a freelance journalist and post-grad student at La Trobe and my partner is a Disability Support Worker and part-time Philosophy and Gender Studies student. We are looking for a room in the northern suburbs, close to shops, and public transport. We have a beautiful German Shepherd that loves pats and meeting new people. She doesn't bark, except for the occasional grunt when someone is at the front door. She's primarily an inside dog, she has no destructive behaviours and is completely toilet-trained. She can stay outside while we are out, so long as the courtyard is secure. We take good care of her, and always clean up after her. I have a whole household worth of furniture and modern appliances I can contribute to the household. Including a massive fridge, washing machine and dryer. A brand new, ritzy microwave, and appliances including a rice cooker, slow cooker, George Foreman grill, toaster, the works. I can bring them all, or sell them off, it's up to your housing needs. We will likely spend a lot of our time in our room. I freelance from home, so I can go days without leaving the house. I'll be looking for a second job upon moving. I would like to live close to shops and public transport, as I don't drive. We smoke, but only outside (undercover area is a plus). My interests are varied, but my passions are film and TV, I studied media at uni. I love art and music. I write for a sex and relationships publication. So that's a lot to talk about. My partner is great for late-night philosophical conversations. Although we're homebodies, we don't have a problem with people of different persuasions. Noisy parties, or anything like that is fine with us. We would like to live with some fun, hilarious, creative, cool and interesting people. We're LGBTIQA friendly and disability friendly, if you're not, eff off. Send me a message if you have any questions, or need a reference. We are looking to move in April. But I need to give notice sooner than that. We would prefer to live somewhere for a minimum of 6 months, and could easily stay over 12 months.
I'm 26 a carpenter I've got a 9 yo labXbordercollie who is very well trained stays outside or comes to work with me occasionally and comes inside to my room of a night. Hi there. I am a professional single woman, no kids, 60 year old, looking for a quiet non-smoking, pet friendly mature independent female to half-share a 3-4 bedroom home in the Ivanhoe, Heidelberg, Heidelberg Heights, Rosanna, Macleod, Watsonia area with a rental range of $600-$800 a week ($300-$400 each). I am fit, active, loyal, reliable, trustworthy and honest, clean and tidy. I have a small dog and cat, both well house trained. I enjoy the theatre, the arts, movies, catching up with friends for a walk, Sunday brunch, going to the markets. Love to walk. Walking/hiking is my thing. On the home front I live quietly, potter around the home, gardening, reading a good book. I am enjoy clean food, although I indulge when the occasion is right - Christmas...and love my hot cross buns. Looking for someone with similar lifestyle and interests to share a home with. I work full time in the CBD (Melbourne) in an executive administration role in the Victorian government. I have all furniture and whitegoods but can easily put into storage if needed.
Hi, I consider myself quite independent but I don't disclose the social aspect that comes along with being a young adult. Interested and always up for meeting new people. I suppose partly comes from travelling and living overseas. When you learn to accompany yourself as well as get involved with what other people are doing. I personally spend majority of my time outdoors whether with work as a landscaper or finding some new, cool or thrill seeking spot to hike, climb or ride. My tendency of living is generally clean and tidy. I've lived in my own shared house in Canada, I shared rooms or lived in a house with as many as 10 people at once. I respect other people's privacy as I would expect some what of the same in return. I can cook, so I am self sufficient. I don't mind cleaning the inside of a toilet either, nor the entire shared bathroom in general. When we first meet, I might be shy at first, but come round a week or so and I'll drop my guard down and be super chilled. I am honestly after a place with people who are like minded, between ages of 22-30 mix of female and male. Down to earth but up for having fun too. All rounder not completely strict. Although I am a non-smoker.
I am an international female student from Sri Lanka. Currently I am pursuing my studies (Masters in Accountancy) at Charles Sturt University. I am doing a part time job at a retail store. I'm a La Trobe Uni Student, studying Maths and Statistics. I work as a Barista in Montmerency. I'm quiet and tidy, and make a mean coffee if you have a machine available! My main hobbies are card games and Warhammer (a bit of a nerd in case the Maths and Stats didn't give that away). Currently, I'm looking for a place with a bit of extra space and comfort, ideally with my own bathroom. The two locations I need to be somewhat near are Bundoora for study, and Montmerency for work.
I am a single mother, with two teenage girls, 18yo & 15yo, both still in high school and we are very clean and house proud. I love to meditate and just be surrounded by calmness, tranquility and warmness. We are in transition of buying our own home and just need to rent two rooms somewhere cosy and quiet temporarily. I am of italian background and love to cook immensely, so you can be sure that dinner will be one of my best contributions to our living arrangements. And yes, l do like a glass of vino now and then. :) My girls and l are peace loving souls, just needing a place to make our own for the moment. Am looking for an all female household if l can. I do Hope to find somewhere nice real soon!

I have two rooms of differing sizes available from late March/early April. Both rooms have a lot of built in wardrobe space and come with a bed and a few pieces of furniture like chest of drawers, lamps, etc. if you want to keep them. The house is located in Watsonia and is walking distance to supermarkets, Watsonia shops, the 513 and 566 busses and Watsonia Station (Hurstbridge line). La Trobe University and Greensborough Plaza are a 5-10 min drive away. The house has everything you'd expect in terms of washing machine, dryer, stovetop, microwave, fridge, oven, etc. as well as air conditioning, heating and a wood fire. Fairly big backyard with some nice shaded spots if that's your thing! I also have a cat so you must be animal friendly!
3 br house located in Watsonia, very close to busses to LaTrobe Uni and RMIT Bundoora, greensborough plaza and Northland. About 10 mins walk to Watsonia trainstation and the cafes and shops on Watsonia rd. The house has an open plan kitchen/living area with polished floorboards and lots of natural light. The kitchen is modern with a gas stove and a dishwasher. The bathroom/toilet has also been updated and the bedrooms are all carpeted with large windows and built in robes. There is also a separate laundry, however I do not currently have a washing machine (Laundry can be done 24/7 at the local laundromat in Bundoora until I organise to get one for the house). There are 2 medium sized bedrooms available to choose from and some furnishings can be provided if necessary. The house also has a large, grassy and fully fenced back yard with a number of fruit trees and a shed for storage. Cat friendly pets will be considered Smoking/420 ok outside only. Now for all the nitty gritty stuff: Rent is paid monthly in advance, directly to the real estate agent and is $858 per month, due by the 14th of each month, and this arrangement is not negotiable. Bills are not included in the rent and monthly installments of $130 will need to be paid by the 14th of each month also. $60 of this will cover the cost of unlimited adsl2+ and monthly lawn mowing. The remainder will go toward monthly installments on the gas and electricity. These 2 bills will come in at the end of each quarter and any additional charges will be split equally between us. The first months rent ($858) plus a bond of $858 will need to be paid prior to moving in.
