I am clean and sonewhat tidy, but not over the top. I am responsible and honest. I like to live my life, my way so I have no issue with how you live yours - unless it impacts on me. I am friendly but not needy. I like my own time and my own area but am happy to sit down for dinner, chat and go our own ways. I also have a fur baby named Louis. He is a white maltese shih-tsu, who is very much house trained and very much a lap dog. He loves people and cuddles and is great with other dogs of any age. He is really easy going and he usually comes with me everywhere as he loves the car. I am looking to share a home with someone who has similar views on sharing a house. I would prefer to have only one or two housemates max and my own bathroom is preferable but not a necessity.
Hi, I'm Kelsey :) I'm a bit of hippy/goth hybrid, but friendly, down to earth and more approachable than I look. I'm mindful and respect others when it comes to privacy, personal space and lives; but am also sociable, love having a laugh over a beverage or two, and sharing meals. When I'm not working full time, I like to spend my free time with art projects, enjoying the company of my cat, or out visiting friends. I love cooking vegan cuisine, and am a pro at cleaning up after myself! Due to current housemates looking to move out, I am looking for somewhere relatively local, so I don't spend all my free time commuting to work. (We work to live, not the other way round, right?!) Looking for housemate/s that are down to earth, have a great sense of humour, and don't mind the concept of sharing a roof with someone a little bit nerdy and odd :)
Looking for a place where I can keep to myself. A granny flat or studio flat would be ideal, out the back of an existing residence or a one bedroom apartment. I am tidy, enjoy cooking, singing, working and socializing.
Hi! I’m Lauren, I am 21 and I moved to Melbourne from Adelaide earlier this year. I’m currently stuck living with my sister, her husband and their 3 children! I love them all but YIKES.....time to go get my own life 😜 I work on average 6 days a week, I am pretty quiet but I certainly still like to fit in fun and laughter as much as I can. I am a lover of animals so I would secretly love the possibility of a house pet but not essential. Send me a message if you’d like to grab brunch or a drink so that we can get to know each other ☺️ Lauren
I'm very easy going . I have a small dog. I love to cook, and i play tennis. I keep busy. I'm very tidy and always clean up after myself. I enjoy a chat but also understand when you need your space. I'm often not home as I have a partner I spend time with (at times, he stays over) .
Hi there :) I am working full time in a beautiful day spa in the Yarra valley, commuting 45 minutes one way is getting a bit tiring so I’m looking to move a bit closer! I have share housed before and been living out of home for 4 years (minus the last 6 months, which have been spent resettling in to Melbourne after a few years traveling/working around Aus). I am easy going, friendly, relaxed and respectful. Love to have a chat, shared dinner, movie night etc but understand we all need our space too :). Ideally looking for a house that isn’t huge on parties as I work full time and work every weekend, but don’t mind a wine night here or there! I am clean, tidy and pay bills/rent on time. Sadly I am allergic to cats so need a cat free home. I am flexible with moving dates but wouldn’t be available till sometime around mid July. Would also be interested in teaming up to start a new sharehouse If you think I sound like a good fit, shoot me a message! Thanks in advance. Rose
Never home because of work when I am love to cook have a dog that can come with me or stay elsewhere have plenty of my own things I'm into fourbying camping anything outdoors self proclaimed pit master I'm from Mornington peninsula I work as a maintenance fitter work when I am home I still tend to keep busy looking for other people who are tidy and respectful I come from an open doors home and family so I will always be willing to help and get along love having music in the background usually on triple j I'm new to this sorta thing but I'm pretty easy going and go with the flow also love meditation and being mindful
This house is super cute and cosy with an awesome deck with views of Diamond Creek! We are a short walk to all the shops, walking trail and parks! Greensborough Plaza is only 10 minutes away and the city is close too 😊The lounge is big and furnished with a couch, desk and TV and we have an outdoor setting and everything you need in the kitchen! There’s also plenty of room for you to decorate the place with your own things and we are sure you’ll feel perfectly at home and comfortable! 😊
Hi! I’m a music teacher at Eltham College and I’m looking to move closer to work. I want to make a difference in the world so I try to educate myself about the environment and current events and practice sustainability. I want to get fit and strong. I enjoy doing body balance (Pilates/yoga/tai chi) and walking. Unwinding in nature is very important to me, so living near a reserve with a creek or river would be ideal. I enjoy growing my own herbs and veggies and baking my own bread. I do try to eat healthy but my job can be stressful so I like to chill with a glass of red at the end of the day. I have a 15 yr old son who is moving in with his dad, who I will have 2 out of 3 weekends. We own an old mudbrick home in central Vic that we will stay at on most of those weekends. I’m usually up for a chat and I’m happy to share cooking. I can cook lots of different cuisines, eg. Italian, Indian, Chinese and Mexican and I like living in a tidy house so I clean up as I go. I have noise all day every day at work (drum kits, keyboards, xylophones etc) so escaping to a quiet room in the evening is something I crave. That said, I do have a Netflix subscription and I’m happy to share it! I’m easygoing, I love a laugh and a meaningful chat about an interesting book, movie or idea. I love a long bath with aromatherapy to unwind in. I make one day a week my ‘homebody’ day so on Saturdays I’m usually in my pjs or trackies catching up on reading, gentle excercise and sleep. I emerge from this on Sunday with renewed vigour ready to get organised and hit the week! If you want a fun loving, kind hearted house mate, you’ve found one and I’m looking forward to meeting you. 🤗 Ps I have 2 fur babies, Shadow and Dynon. They are outdoor cats that are gentle and friendly and chilled around dogs. They love a pat and a rub under the chin. They usually sleep on my bed at night. Dynon is very shy and comes in for food and disappears again, but Shadow is keen to show you his affection and if you like cats, he’ll sit with you and purr loud!
My name is Jaime - 39 year old male. I am Portuguese and have been living in Australia for 30 years I have a 12 year old staffy called Tiago. He is gentle, quiet, loving and very well behaved. Hi guys Set on 6 acres with plenty of shady trees and space to relax and enjoy the wildlife that passes by. There is plenty of parking, wood and gas bbqs. I have one room to rent out and it faces out to the back yard. The bus is 800m away on Yan Yean Rd and its a short trip to St Helena shops or the Greensburough complex .The house has ducted cooling and a wood fire in the lounge room. Prefer males.
I am fun easy going reliable and friendly. I pay rent on time and like to keep a clean house. I work full time in childcare and enjoy a bit of wine every night. Not a party animal but does enjoy a night out. Looking to move into a house with someone or people who are my age and are up for a chat every now and then. Looking to move to a new home ASAP.
Im very sadly leaving this place, as a backpacker I need to venture off to go and get my farm work completed. Otherwise I would have very happily stayed in the house for much longer. A nice spacious house, with a great lounge area plus a large garden for when you want to invite people over. The house is located just around the corner from a bus stop and the train station. Plus your supermarkets and pubs/bars are just down the road from us aswell. we have a fire pit in the garden for those chilly nights, a pool table in the front room, air conditioning throughout the house and some gym equipment (pull up bar and some weights) available if you wanted to use them. The monthly rent is $681 and the upfront bond is 950.
The Humpies is the old Major property, just off Church rd in Panton Hill. It's 3.5kms from Hurstbridge station so it's still an easy commute to Melbourne. The local community is great, and it's close to St Andrews and Smiths Gully, too. If you're a cyclist, there are great country roads or mountain bike trails close by. I bought the property a few years ago at auction - the first time it was sold in 80 years. It was a very humble weekender - never a "house"! Check this out for pre-reno pictures and the story: Now, a few years later, the interior renos are complete. It's a warm & cozy home that I have put all my creativity into - all bespoke with heaps of character! There are veggie gardens and fruit trees which are maturing - apples & pears finally! I have a menagerie of animals: 2 dogs, a cat, chickens, ducks, and a pony (my daughter's). Don't worry - I won't expect you to take care of them - unless you'd like to! Lots of stories!
