Hi, I'm a 26 yr old female, part-time student of Social Science, musician and work part-time. Looking for a homely place that's not a party house but also with sociable people. I come with a sweet record collection :)
Looking for unfinished bedroom and a small share house. Sharing with 1 or 2 other people, no student accommodation or multiple >4 people places. Adventurous and active. Gym daily as well as gymnastics and acroyoga. Non smoker, occasional drinker. Tidy, hygienic and health conscious but love a treat too. Childrens dentist.
The location of this weatherboard is amazing and the house is super cute - but the giant north facing deck and BBQ has to be the highlight! (Photos are coming this week!) This house is a total bargain, the low cost is not at all because it's in bad shape. The owner may be renovating it mid next year, so it's only a 12 month lease, and he just wants someone in to fill the place for now. The bedrooms are carpeted with built ins. There is a big living area with reverse cycle airconditioning -and floorboards, a sun room, a gas stove in the kitchen, and an outdoor kitchen on the deck. There is a driveway and a shed which is half used by the owner. I will be bringing my furniture, I have enough for the lounge and dining area, but if you have furniture as well we could negotiate what goes in the shed and the house!
Heya, I'm currently working casually at a pub and about to start uni doing open foundations. I'm looking for my own unfurnished bedroom or if anyones keen to find something together that could work too! I love the beach, like to keep healthy and don't mind a few bevvys on the weekend :)
Fulltime worker. Reliable. Respectful of others. Positive and outgoing. Healthy lifestyle. No drugs or parties. Outdoors lover. Clean and tidy. Single with a closeknit of quality friends. My ideal housemates would have similar values, love food and maybe a glass of wine, for when we catch up. If it's great weather, I'm generally out roadtripping with my dog. If it's raining, I'm keen to curl up with a book and a cuppa. Every other time, I'm at work or sleeping. Looking for a home closer to town and one or two female housemates. I have a big beautiful old dog who is an outside, well mannered girl. Dry area in yard is a must as our current home retains a lot of moisture in the backyard and it is starting to give my girl skin irritations. I'm adamant about keeping tidy after her, so please don't worry about that. I'm flexible on budget if the home has lots to offer. I would love to find somewhere that can be for at least 6 months and hopefully more. Move dates are also flexible and can easily be moved to suit.
Im very clean and tidy and pretty easy going, i enjoy a quiet drink at home or out with my friends and/or house mate. (No party house). I work full time in insurance study part time interior design. Im looking for one other house mate to live with me. I have all the furniture for a place, u would only need your bedroom furniture. I enjoy being active, i go to the gym, bike ride, and scuba dive. Im from newcastle and my lease runs out in june so im looking for a new place. Looking for someone like minded clean tidy and respectful. 😊
I'm Adam, I'm 18 years old, and I am currently studying Fitness at TAFE. I've recently moved into the Newcastle area to increase the chance of getting a full-time job. I am hoping to later get work in the fitness industry but for now, I am aiming for an apprenticeship of some sort as I have a few contacts around this area. My partner, Sara is also 18. She is working part-time at a physiotherapy company as a receptionist. She's also studying flexible hours for a business course. We're both non-smokers and non-drinkers. We're both quiet, neat, and live a healthy lifestyle, and enjoy the beach and the gym. We'd love to make some friends but also happy to keep to ourselves and enjoy our privacy. Together, we're able to pay anything around the $300-350 mark
Hi. My name is Vaughan. I'm 38 and a mature age student currently living in the Upper-Hunter but wanting to get back down to Newcastle for a change of atmosphere and lifestyle. I am mainly busy with my studies but am open to forming friendships and am very respectful of all people irrespective of class, colour and creed. I am clean, tidy, quiet and endeavour to respect the space of all other housemates. I enjoy the company of others, young and old, am a social drinker and love music and losing myself in a good book.
Hi, We currently have one room available in a very large 6 bedroom sharehouse in a great central Hunter St location. Easy walk to the harbour, bars, Markettown shopping centre and public transport. All rooms are large in size, fully furnished and have their own bathroom. Rent of $170 per week includes all utility bills + internet. There are 6 other house mates at present with a mix of males and females and in their mid 20's. All housemates work or study full time so it is not a party house. In saying that though everyone in the house is very friendly and outgoing. Looking for similar people who are also tidy and considerate. No pets allowed sorry. Limited offstreet parking exists. A bond of 2 weeks rent is required with rent to be paid 2 weeks in advance (so 4 weeks rent required the day you move in which includes your first two weeks rent). Bond is fully refundable when you move out if room and bathroom left clean and no damage done to the property or furniture. Minimum lease period is 3 months. Happy to answer any other questions you may have. Or if you'd like to take a look through please send me an email or message with a bit about yourself. Please send a text rather than call during work hours. Thanks very much. Clayton
I am looking for a potential sharehouse in Cooks Hill, Newcastle, the Hill etc. with one other person, either 2 or 3 bedroom, shared or 2 bathrooms, I have a large budget but rental companies won't rent to me as an individual! I am a shiftworker so I work a rotating roster which gives housemates and myself a chance for alone time. I am fairly active but love to chill out in the backgarden and play with my pet rats (absolutely LOVE any kind of animal) and don't mind a cheeky beer. I don't even own a TV so I keep myself busy in other ways! My perfect housemate would be someone who keeps the common rooms tidy, is relaxed and social but not a partier in the house, wants to be nice to the environment that loves animals and can be respectful when I have to sleep during the day after nightshift (only 2 days every 8). I have a fully equipped kitchen set up (microwave, fridge, coffee machine and cooking utensils etc.) brand new washing machine and that's it! No lounge or tv but some floor cushions! These items don't have to come with me but the option is there. I compost all my veggies to use in gardens etc. active recycler and nature lover, love the outdoors and am obsessed with travel.
Moving to Newcastle second semester to start uni. Have lived out of home for the majority of the past 2 years following winter as a ski instructor so I have experience living in all kinds of accommodation with both males and females. Easy going and adapt to most living situations. Love to chill out with room mates over some beers on an arvo. Social and enjoy a night out as well. Tend to be tidy and clean up after myself too. In my free time I love anything active, surfing, skating, skiing, basketball, toss a footy, you name it I'm there. All in all I'm moving to Newcastle to start uni and have fun along the way. shoot us a message if I sound like the guy for you, I'd love to come round and say g'day. Cheers p.s. if you have pets thats a bonus
Hey I'm Joel! Currently looking for a room to rent somewhere close in town, currently live in cooks hill. I work full time and also study full-time at UON, I love meeting new people and traveling as most people do, very easily to get along with, clean and respectful. Also open to leasing out a place if its decent, any question hit me up. Thanks!
We're a couple from around Gloucester/ Forster area, we're both currently studying full time at the university of newcastle and looking for a new place before the start of second semester. Mason is an all round top bloke, He studies civil engineering and surveying and can pull off a mullet and a moe pretty well. He's pretty great to live with because can hold a friendly conversation but won't be in your face at all. He likes playing the Xbox and drink of choice would be a ice cold schooner of tooheys new. Jasmin is alright herself, she's studying writing at the uni and is a bit of a creative sort. Loves live music, bushwalking and reading. Pretty good to live with as she can talk about pretty much anything and is always there for a chat if needed. Drink of choice would be a double shot tequila sunrise when she's feeling loaded but lets be real, usually you'll catch her with a bottle of harddys charddy. We're both pretty good at keeping to ourselves or having a cheeky chat in the kitchen, whichever you prefer. We're both clean, tidy and love a good netflix binge. We've listed ourselves as looking for a place near the city but are open to suburbs close to the uni. We both have a stable income rolling in and the 280$ a week is our maximum rent SPLIT not each.

I am friendly and social guy, work full time as a project coordinator (Mon-Fri) and Marriage Celebrant on weekends! I am pretty busy! Love to have a few beverages now and then.
Dave is an Aussie from Fremantle, W.A. and I am an American from Chicago. We are just getting done with a year long trip around Australia and a trip to Japan. I guess you could say we like to travel. We are relocating from Fremantle to Newcastle and would love some chill people to live with while we get sorted. We are pretty easy going, enjoy our own time as well as socializing and Dave is always down for a surf. We are thinking three months at least and then go from there.

I turn 18 in July - and will have to move out around then. I'm pretty chill, go to TAFE 2 days a week - doing a certificate IV in Community Services. I also work at Domino's 4 days a week. I am gay (and have a girlfriend) - so hopefully this won't be an issue. I love music and art, and will listen to pretty much anything. I also love live music and go to a fair few concerts. Though I am young - I am mature, responsible, clean and tidy. Not a big partier - and I don't smoke or drink. Looking to live anywhere in the Newcastle or Sydney areas. Hoping for easygoing flatmates, that don't mind a chat every now and then. I do have a puppy so must be pet friendly!
Mate, where do I start? This house has got soul. It's a spacious single-storey place in early 1900's style that the owner has added to over time in keeping with its theme - wood and stone with tiled and carpeted interiors. Just some of the perks of living here: * Front porch and pergola at the rear * Huge kitchen * Shower and bath * Lush green yards * A thirty-second walk from the main road w/ a bottle-o, grocer, bakery, pubs, and the best tacos in Newy * On-street parking and a bus runs just around the corner * Park/running track along the river * A short walk over the bridge from Wickham/Honeysuckle * Foxtel * NBN/wifi Most of the house is furnished except for the vacant room, which is at the front of the house with built-ins and a window. There's room in the kitchen to put an additional (medium-sized) fridge if you'd prefer to keep your own. The backyard is shared with a house on the same property but it is quiet and private. Smoking is permitted outdoors. Most bills included in rent except internet.
