Rent paid on time, a neat, tidy and hassle free flatmate/tenant. An easy-going fellow. Sense of humour. I like my own space and sociable too. Looking for a nice somewhere for possibly up to 6 months, as a homebase: Hometown Adelaide is definitely on my radar (perhaps Wollongong too). To start asap as I'm living out of a suitcase these days. Sometime up the track (no fixed date yet) I plan to relocate to England. But for the time being I'd like to be more organised, settled and productive here in good old Australia. And have a home base to launch from for an occasional few-day trip (over to Coober Pedy in the mid north of SA for example, to do a video and poetic documentary on that interesting place -- the opal capital of the world). Currently working at career changing from teaching (and numerous other roles I've had over the years, such as a bus driver between Melbourne Airport and the CBD where, as my passengers and I trundled along the laneway into the Southern Cross Bus Station, the terminus for the journey from the airport, I would sometimes recite Shakespeare etc. for my passengers), to fulfill some long term goals. E.g., photography, varied research projects, and street poetry (23 times published...). I'm an outdoors person, active, and have various interests -- I won't bore you with the details now, I'll bore you later lol... . Best regards, Craig T

Hi I’m Rik; a friendly, considerate housemate who gets on with most people, I love a wide range of music + film, a good conversation and a laugh, and a nice quiet place to escape to. I'm a lifelong professional writer/performer. I work on climate + social projects when I can, and I'm currently studying Counseling. Tidy and clean, I love food prep too so (unless you're sorted, in which case it'll go into storage) I come with good kitchen gear including a nice espresso machine. I enjoy an active life, walking, hiking, cycling, body surfing, and mostly traveling by bike or motorbike (though I will be picking up a van soon too, to prepare it for touring shows). Making things and fixing things is something else I enjoy for work and fun: designing + making sets, props costumes or shelves; servicing motorbikes + bikes, fixing a screendoor, lock or cabinet, or ceramic pot. Though I don't watch a lot of TV, I have one and an Apple 4K TV too. I'm looking for a place near the coast, somewhere between Sydney and Wollongong; or to team up with someone to find a place. If you think we might get along, lets chat and see about meeting. Cheers, Rik
