Currently looking to move into a larger home, either joining an existing share house or teaming up with someone to find a new one.
I work in the film and TV industry, so my contracts and workplaces change every few months. I come with Archie, my Great Dane cross (about the size of a German Shepherd rather than a horse 😅), and Lily the cat.
Alongside my film work, I run a small cat rescue. So ideally, I’m looking for somewhere with a detached studio, granny flat, garage conversion, or unused room out the back that could be dedicated to my cat rescue work.
All foster cats are housed separately and managed professionally as part of the rescue. They would be contained within their own dedicated space and wouldn’t be free-roaming through the house. I don’t expect housemates to help with the rescue in any way, although cat lovers are always welcome to enjoy the occasional kitten cuddle. I’m a qualified vet nurse (my previous career) and manage everything myself, including foster carers, adoptions, and veterinary care. Because I’m currently self-funded, I have a cap on how many cats I take care of so you can be sure I won’t have some crazy amount 😅
At home I’m pretty relaxed and easygoing. I’m not a big party person, but I do love live music, concerts, and festivals. Happy doing my own thing, but also enjoy shared meals, game nights, or the occasional hangout.
I have some furniture available if needed, including a quality couch, coffee table, fridge, various kitchen essentials and a washing machine.
Looking for housemates aged roughly 25–38, any gender, preferably without pets. Unfortunately Archie isn’t always comfortable with other dogs, and Lily has decided she doesn’t like other cats despite me running a cat rescue, so additional pets may not be practical unless they can be kept completely separate.
I don’t have a fixed move date and only need to give 21 days’ notice at my current place.
Any questions for me, please ask! ☺️
