Hello!
I’m Annabel, 25 y/o, she/her. Looking for a new place in Melb’s inner north!

A bit about me: I’ve lived in shared spaces since I was 18. I’m Aussie but was born in the USA and grew up in Sydney. I’ve lived in share houses in France, Japan, Torquay and Northcote. I am still friends with all my old housemates and have good feedback on how I am to live with. I would describe myself as clean and considerate. My energy levels fluctuate a lot so sometimes I am super chatty and others I am a little more introverted. I am an outdoorsy & active person - I surf, ski, swim, run and dance. I am inbetween jobs at the moment, moving from casual work at a hike shop and looking for full-time 9-5work. I intend to be in full-time employment shortly. My passions in life at the moment are dancing, music, being barefoot (I do love an intentional bush doof), therapy, sleeping, meeting new people, reading and overthinking. This year I really want to do more hikes so be prepared for me to invite you. I do cook a fair bit so I am in the kitchen frequently.

What I am looking for in a share house: I want to be friends with my housemates! That doesn’t mean we live our lives together but it does mean we chat in shared spaces, have a silly time occasionally and make an effort to ensure the house is a welcoming and comfortable shared environment. I would love to live with people around my age 22-35ish. I like living in houses where housework is shared equally and discussed often, massive fan of chore rosters. I like a balance between hanging out when we all just happen to be in the house but also have our own things going on. I like as much communication as possible -a group chat is always helpful but I think a frequent house chat can really help create a homely and friendly vibe. I am also a fan of Splitwise for shared essentials: TP, oils, spices etc.

I would not like: A kick-ons house (unless we are ALL partying). Living along-side rather than with people. People who have very late schedules.

I have a car, a bike, bedroom furniture and a small selection of living room stuff if needed.
