G'day! I'm excited to be looking for a long term rental in Bris and I'm hoping to find a nice place to call home :)
I just finished my PhD at Griffith uni and have accepted a postdoctoral researcher position at the University of Queensland. I was in Melbourne for work and to finish up the last part of my PhD, so I left my place in Bris. That work finished recently and I have been doing some traveling since. And it's great to be back! It would be great to find a house that I can settle into for a few years.
I'm a quiet and respectful housemate. Early bird, non-smoker, non-drinker, very active lifestyle, plenty of time spent at work, and keen to help out around the house with cleaning and chores. I'm easy going and get along well with everyone. I'm keen to live in a fun house with good vibes, and hopefully some roommates to hang out with!
I wake up early to run or climb most mornings. I will work from the office at UQ, so it would be rare for me to work from home. I also enjoy camping and travelling, so there will be plenty of weekends where I'm not around the house.
I'll be around Brisbane until December 3 and then I'm going to travel for the next month, so I won't be around for viewings until the first or second week of January. But I'm flexible on my move in date.
