Hi,

My name is Shota, and I moved to Brisbane in 2025 to study at the University of Queensland. I am a dedicated part time worker and student looking for a home long term for the remaining years of my degree, or at least some of it, as I will be moving out of my student accommodation to look for something more personal and clean.

My hobbies include cooking, camping, reading, diving, going to the gym, fishing, watching sport with mates and more. I wish to enjoy these activities with peers so hit me up if any of these interest you :)

As a former kitchen hand and current home cook, hygiene and neatness is a strong value for me. Keeping things clean and tidied up in accessible places is a must, so I’m sure I’ll never disappoint when it comes to keeping the space in good shape (ask my previous property manager,I always had good feedback on inspection days).

As mentioned above, as well as being a student, I am also an employee, at a warehouse distribution centre. With a combined income of my job, scholarship and student welfare that I’m fortunately privileged to, I am more than capable of keeping ahead of all payments, and promise to do so.

Finally, I’d like to leave an early greeting to my new landlord/property manager. I am excited to a new start at my future home and this includes meeting you; maybe we can share some home cooked meals and chat about our interests, work, and life.
