I've moved to Australia from Scotland (aye, I can actually play the bagpipes!). As a flatmate, I am friendly, responsible and considerate. If you have pets, it'd be great to have their company as I'm a country boy and love animals, so long as they aren't noisy after hours, as I'm a light sleeper. A room that can either take or is furnished with a double to king-size bed for my height at 6'7 and with nearby parking for the medium to long term is what I'm looking for, before I settle properly in Aus.

At 34, I enjoy the odd beer or wine but am not a party animal. It'd be great to live with people who like to share an occasional social get-together, be it a games night, some sport or a meal out.

Work: I normally work away 2-3 weeks a month as a FIFO engineer, but I'm currently doing Monday to Friday in Maitland at the company office. My work can be stressful and hours long, so it's important I can come back to somewhere where I feel I belong and am not stepping on anyone's toes - you shall be given the same respect :)

Life: I keep fit and active, am a keen reader, and want to use my base in Australia as an opportunity to visit places across the Far East. Kick boxing, rock climbing, running, rugby, freediving, and skiing are some activities I enjoy. I am musical but don't currently have an instrument due to too much work, and not much life!
