Hi, I’m Aravind!

I’m 26 years old male from Kerala, India, relocated from Bengaluru, India to Sydney to continue my role as a Cloud Operations Engineer II (L5) at Amazon Web Services (AWS). I’m currently in temporary accommodation provided by my company and plan to move into a house or apartment by 20th February 2026. I’ll need to give one month’s notice before leaving my current place.

What I’m looking for:

Ideally, a furnished room in a peaceful, respectful household with reliable internet, as I work in hybrid mode and may work from home or the office on different days. My budget is up to AUD 500 per week including bills, but I’m flexible for the right place. I’m also open to teaming up with like-minded people to find a new home.

Calm, patient, tidy, grounded, and very easy to live with

Respectful of all genders, cultures, and dietary preferences; I enjoy diverse company from working with global teams

I eat both veg and non-veg (only chicken), have no allergies or restrictions, and am happy to adapt to vegetarian or vegan kitchens

I don’t smoke, drink, party, or do drugs; I’m not into loud scenes but enjoy chill conversation and warm company

I don’t mind if others drink or party occasionally and can tag along for company, but I don’t partake myself

I value cleanliness, privacy, and mutual respect in shared spaces

More of a listener in groups but love meaningful one-on-one conversations

I adore golden retrievers; my own dog, Miko, is back home in Bengaluru. I’m happy living with clean, well-trained, vaccinated pets

I’ll be working Sydney morning shift hours (9 AM - 5 PM), adjusting from my previous Bengaluru afternoon shift (1 PM - 10 PM)

Hobbies & intentions:

I enjoy swimming, cycling, gardening, exploring new cuisines and places, playing badminton and football. I plan to stay long-term in Sydney and am looking for a stable, respectful home with kind, communicative, and easygoing housemates.
