Angie

My name is Angie (Anna), I’m 21, from Finland, and coming on exchange to UNSW.

I land in Sydney on February 4th and I’m planning to stay for at least 7 months (until the end of August, maybe longer if I fall in love with the city!).

I’m looking for a place where roommates actually like each other and can be friends: cozy dinners, chats, movie nights, board games ☀️ I also really value privacy and quiet time and always respect other people’s space ❤️

A bit about me: I’m plant-based, I care a lot about inclusivity, openness, and creating a considerate household vibe. I love music (from rock to techno) and I do enjoy the occasional rave, but I keep my home life calm and need a quiet space to recharge (I never bring the party back home). I study neuropsychology and am taking courses in forensics and criminology!

I’m super social and friendly, very easy to get along with, and I’ve lived with roommates for years — so I really value communication and keeping things peaceful at home. I’m tidy to the point that I actually enjoy cleaning hahaha.

I love being outside and with friends — bars, picnics, walks, that kind of thing — but I’m equally happy at home watching movies or reading (huge movie freak!!). I’m into bouldering, yoga, running, and the gym. I’ve lived abroad most of my life in Tunisia, London, and Amsterdam, so I’m used to international environments and meeting new people!!
