Yes, I am a guy in my 40s, but please keep reading.....
I promise I'm not your stereotypical male housemate - I'm more than well house-trained and can provide female referees who can attest to that. I'm also more mid-30s at heart and in lifestyle - fairly social, but nothing over the top.
I work freelance in disasters and emergencies, and in training people who want to do that work - mostly for an NGO and a Uni. Working freelance means I mainly work from home, but then also am sometimes away for 1-2 week blocks. Outside of that, I volunteer with Red Cross and play a bit of social team sports.
I'm pretty well-travelled and love languages and reading, as well as getting into nature when I can.
I'm a very easy-going and adaptable person, and am very respectful of housemates, communal spaces etc. I've got my own friends and life in Melbourne, but always appreciate a good relationship with housemates and am generally up for a shared meal, drink, movie, game when inspiration strikes.
I've got a bunch of furniture in storage that can either stay there or pieces can come out as needed, so I'm open to furnished or unfurnished places.
I also enjoy living with pets, but don't have any of my own.
So yeah, that's me. I'm currently only looking for somewhere up to early July, but also open to long-term for that special, dream house scenario....
