My name is Maria (28, she/her). I'm PhD student studying water management for wildlife at the University of Melbourne, start date is March 2026. I don't have pets, don't smoke, and I only work from home 5% of the time. Born and raised in the USA near Detroit and very excited to be exploring Melbourne and hopefully more of Victoria! This is not my first time living abroad and I love to explore. In my free time I like to cook, hike, and visit museums. Fun fact about me: I can't keep a houseplant alive, despite my best efforts!

Hoping to be within a 30-minute bike ride of the University, but closer is better. Budget of 250-400 pw. Looking for housemates of a similar age who are open to being friends, or at least open to chatting. I've lived in shared housing all my adult life and know how to communicate well about shared housemate responsibilities.
