Hi there I am Ho Ho!
I’m a PhD candidate at Swinburne University of Technology, researching how technology can support exercise for older adults living in residential aged care. I’m originally from China and have been living in Melbourne for the past two years.
Outside of research, I enjoy going to the gym (usually 4–5 times a week), hiking, spending time in nature, gaming, and exploring nice cafés around the city.
I’m looking to move into a shared house around 10 July. My preferred areas are Hawthorn, Fitzroy, Abbotsford and anywhere nearby. I’m hoping to find a home where I can experience a different lifestyle, connect with housemates, and maybe learn (or be taught!) how to cook along the way. I’ve decided that I’d like to stay in Melbourne after finishing my PhD, so I’m keen to meet new people and become more part of the local community.
I live a quiet and respectful lifestyle — I don’t smoke or drink, and I’m mindful about noise and shared living spaces. I value personal boundaries, maintain good personal hygiene, and always keep common areas clean and tidy. I also prefer not to bring visitors home, as I like to keep the living environment calm and comfortable for everyone.
I’m a big animal lover and happy to live with any kind of pets. I’m friendly, easygoing, and enjoy occasional chats or shared meals, while also respecting everyone’s personal space. I’m looking for a place that feels like a home rather than just a room.
I’m mainly looking to join an owner-occupied or genuine shared home rather than agent-managed properties.
Cheer!
