Alejandra Mailén and Leandro

LONG/SHORT TERM

Hi! We’re Leandro and Mailén, a couple from Buenos Aires, Argentina - 34 and 35 years old.
We’ve spent the last 10 years traveling and living abroad—starting as backpackers, then settling in Sweden and later Denmark—so we’re very used to shared housing and living with people from different cultures.

Mailén has a background in Tourism & Hospitality and has worked the past few years at a hotel reception. She’ll be studying in the CBD (Monday to Friday mornings) Leandro is a trained chef and has been working in the food industry for several years.

We’re easygoing, respectful, and clean. We enjoy sharing good moments with housemates—like having dinner together, chatting, or drinking mate—but we also value personal space. Over the years, good energy with our roommates has been the driving force behind our experience living abroad.

We’re more into relaxed plans (a bar over a nightclub) and are excited about embracing a more outdoor lifestyle in Australia, even during winter.

We adapt quickly to new environments and always try to contribute to a positive, friendly vibe at home.
