My name is Leonie, I’m 26 and originally from Germany. I’m currently looking for a furnished room in a quiet and relaxed share house, or self-contained options.

I’ve lived in several share houses before, so I’m very considerate of other people’s space and always clean up after myself. I’m financially stable and reliable with rent payments. I enjoy being social from time to time, but I also really value my privacy and personal space. Ideally, I’m looking for a household where everyone gets along but is also happy doing their own thing, without any expectations to socialise all the time.

What I’m looking for:

☀️ A bright bedroom with plenty of natural daylight, ideally with some direct sunlight.
🛁 My own bathroom or ensuite.
🛏️ A furnished bedroom
❄️ Air conditioning: Built-in AC or a bedroom suitable for installing my own portable AC
🚗 Parking is essential: Either a designated parking space or easily accessible, unrestricted street parking on a quiet street. I rely on my car for work, so properties with limited or difficult parking unfortunately won’t be suitable.
🏡 Quiet household: A peaceful, clean and respectful home where everyone is comfortable having their own space and independence.
💻 Reliable internet as I’m studying and regularly working on assignments from home.
🚬 I'm a smoker, but I never smoke indoors and never will. I'm looking for a place where smoking outside in the garden, on a balcony or in another designated outdoor area is allowed, so I don't have to leave the property every time I want a cigarette

🏠 Also open to studios, granny flats or 1-bedroom apartments! While my budget for a share house is $450/week including bills, I’m happy to pay more for the right self-contained place. However, it must have a proper, fully functional kitchen with a built-in stove and oven, a decent-sized bathroom with sufficient storage, and meet my other essential requirements listed above

📦 Move-in date: I currently have a two-week notice period at my place, so I'd be looking to move in around two weeks after confirming a new place to avoid paying double rent.

Preferred locations:
I’d love to stay around the Northern Beaches, preferably closer to the city. I’m also interested in the Lower North Shore, North Sydney, surrounding areas, the CBD and Inner West suburbs such as Leichhardt.

I'm looking for a flexible lease with an initial commitment of no more than 3 months, but I'm definitely open to staying long-term if it's the right fit
