I’m Mustafa from Hamburg, Germany, and I’m currently doing my PhD in Psychology. I’m already in Brisbane and I’ll be here from early April until 4 June for a research stay at the University of Queensland. I’m 29 years old and will be working at UQ during the day, so I usually keep fairly regular hours.
In my free time I enjoy reading (mostly psychology and travel books), going to the gym, listening to music and learning more about espresso machines and coffee. I also like to travel occasionally and I’m slowly learning to play the piano. I enjoy cooking and baking and I’m looking forward to living with friendly, considerate flatmates – I’m always up for a chat or a shared meal, but I also respect everyone’s privacy and quiet time.
I’m looking for a room in a place or nice share house for the duration of my research stay at UQ. My girlfriend from Germany, who works there as a psychological therapist, will visit me from 24 April to 23 May and stay with me for about four weeks. We are both very clean, tidy and respectful of shared spaces, we are non-smokers and not big party people. My research stay is funded, and I’m reliable with rent payments and happy to provide proof of income or references if needed.
