Just back in Sydney after a year away climbing mountains all around the world – and now very ready to have an actual home again. I am returning to my full-time role at a non-profit research institute in Surry Hills, so I'm here for the long haul: stable job, reliable with rent.

The trip got the wanderlust out of my system – these days I'm the tidy, easy-to-live-with flatmate who's happy to cook a big group dinner on a Friday and equally happy to leave you be on a weeknight. During the week, I'm in the office 3 days a week and work from home the other 2 days. Most weekends I'm out in the mountains. I'm also at the climbing gym many weeknights, so while I'm around during the week, I'm pretty low-key.

Looking for a room in the inner west – Marrickville, Newtown, Dulwich Hill, Enmore, Alexandria, etc. – with people who are sorted, considerate, and good company. Non-smoker, no pets of my own, and I don't own a car.

Keen to move ASAP, but with no firm deadline pressure as my folks are generously hosting me while I search around. I am after something long-term (12 months and beyond), not a short-term let!
