📍 Looking for a room or team up in inner north — late Nov move in📍
Me and my cute little floof ball winnie are on the hunt for a place around Northcote, Collingwood, Abbotsford, Brunswick, Fitzroy, Thornbury areas of Melbourne.
I’m 35 years old, queer 🌈 , single, work in marketing in the events / music and startup space. Have been working for myself full time for the past 10 years.
What I’m looking for:
Queer friendly housemates who genuinely love dogs and would enjoy the occasional play and cuddle with winnie so she feels the love ♥️
A calm, warm, communicative household.
A home big enough where it doesn’t feel like we’re living on top of each other, with a backyard or courtyard with some low maintenance grass / gardens.
A spacious bedroom that can comfortably fit a queen bed, desk and bits of furniture. Or place for a desk outside of bedroom. Private ensuite with walk in wardrobe / extra storage a bonus that im willing to pay extra for. Will need a space to park my car.
I am generally a bit of a homebody and love to relax in my own company. But I’m also at a stage of life where I want to get out a bit more and socialise.
I’m after a place that feels like a home - where we’re not just people who happen to be living in the same house, but who share the same values, sense of community and lift each other up to be our best authentic selves.
I’d love the occassional dinner, drinks or movie night together. ✨ I love the idea of creating a sanctuary with warm mood lighting, plants, records and cosy furniture. Not looking for a ‘party’ house, more of a pre drinks / dinner party kind of vibe.
I love listening to music, taking winnie for walks and a good bed/couch rot sesh here and there with a tv series. I tinker around with various hobbies. I recently did a 6 week pottery wheel workshop and really enjoyed it. I plan to join some sort of group fitness when I settle. I’m looking to get more into reading and seeing gigs.
Budget looking for around $400 per week for the right fit. Happy to chip in for a weekly cleaner to keep things easy. Otherwise a loose rotating cleaning roster would be great.
