My name is Leo Duan, but you can simply call me Leo. INTJ，I'm 27 years old and hail from the southern region of China. Owing to work requirements, I have traveled to approximately fifty or sixty cities throughout China and six countries.I'm a university graduate. Recently, I also got a 6.5 score in my first IELTS test without much preparation (including a 6.5 in speaking).I recently obtained an Australian WHV visa and will arrive in Melbourne on April 9th. I plan to settle in and adapt to life in Melbourne first, in order to prepare for my future work.
I have been working in the football industry for nearly a decade, holding various roles related to technology, brokerage, management，and media. In recent years, my work has primarily focused on technical management and youth scouting. Over the years, I have collaborated with people from Asia, Europe, Africa, Latin America, of course Australia too, and I have always enjoyed learning English and related cultures. Therefore, adapting to life and culture abroad is not a problem for me.
I am passionate about exploring and experiencing new things.I hope to gain a deep understanding of Australian local life and culture through this experience, and of course, I am not stingy about sharing my stories and culture.I have always been passionate about understanding the social culture, history, and politics of different countries and regions. I also enjoy reading books and watching films and TV series, and I take great pleasure in discussing various topics with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. When I am alone, I tend to be quiet, respectful of others' privacy, and mindful of keeping public spaces clean.
Thanks to my many years of experience in youth football, I am quite good at communicating with children and teenagers. Similarly, I am a very animal-loving person, and my TikTok algorithm is full of various cat and dog videos. Since I was young, I have hoped to have a dog, but unfortunately, because I live in an apartment building and my parents are busy with work, there are not enough conditions to give a dog a home.
I have recently become obsessed with electronic music festivals and concerts. I will be attending the Melbourne Ultra Music Festival on April 12th, and I have already purchased tickets for Katy Perry's concert in Melbourne in June. I also plan to buy tickets for Hans Zimmer's concert in Melbourne on April 30th. Additionally, I have always been a fan of video games, but experiencing new things in real life is even more important now.
