Hi! My name is Gemma, I am 21 and am just arriving home after spending a couple of months in Outback SA, 10 weeks in Europe last year & 1 year living in Queensland. I have had the travel bug for the last two years and am now transitioning into a stage of my life where I’d like to be in a comfortable and consistent environment for 2024 and potentially onwards. This includes beginning to work full time, find a happy, welcome share house & becoming settled in Adelaide. I am applying for properties I think suitable for me, preferably around the city or coast areas with easygoing, fun, and friendly housemates. I keep my space clean and tidy, and enjoy having communal areas the same. I spend a lot of time outdoors, whether it be by the beach or in the Adelaide Hills, I thrive in the sunshine. I love Pilates and am hoping to go on some more camping trips and hikes this year. I have been in hospitality since I was 17 and worked in basically any role you can think of, but hold a very special place in my heart for being a barista. A long term goal of mine would be being open to the idea of opening my own cafe one day. Outside of work, I love being social, cooking/baking, taking care of plants and enjoying a simple, healthy and fulfilled lifestyle. I do own a beautiful dog named Nala, and I’d love if there was a possibility of her being able to stay with me sometimes, but also understanding to rentals and pets. It would never be full time as she has been living with my mum while I’ve been travelling. I have applied because I believe I’d become well suited to your household!
