Jaye
$250/week•55 year old non-binary
I'm Jaye, a somatic movement educator, restorative yoga teacher & creative arts therapist. I'm self-employed & work part-time. I'm calm, friendly, mature, self-aware, creative & fun. I have plenty of experience in 'grown-up' share housing & have what it takes to create a positive, functional & joyful experience of shared living! I value a clean, tidy, organised & aesthetically pleasing, homely space. So I am keen to live with others who share these values. I like a share house that is a peaceful, well-loved, shared sanctuary, but also a social space where friends/partners drop by for cups of tea & there are some regular shared meals. I love growing vegetables & cooking wholesome, delicious vegetarian (dairy-free) food for my housemates. I'm over 50, queer, non-binary (AFAB) & live with a chronic illness. So I'm looking for a queer-friendly space where people respect & accept different ages/genders/abilities. I'm a non-smoker, & I'm definitely looking for a non-smoking household. I'm also looking for an environmentally-aware household, (where we make eco-friendly choices, when possible within our capacity). My family: I have a bonded pair of Devon Rex cats. They are indoor cats (they only go outside on lead or in their portable enclosure). They are sweet, silly, sociable creatures & love human company. At home I like listening to music, watching sci-fi, reading, cooking & gardening, doing yoga, napping, dabbling in various creative hobbies, deep diving into somatic research, playing with my cats, spontaneous kitchen dancing & making bad puns to (hopefully) amuse my housemates.

Dedevi
$350/week•23 year old woman
To the Property Manager, My name is Dedevi Afi Agbali and I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself and my family to you. I’m a single mother, my son Desmond was born on the 7th of August 2020 and we are now looking for a new house to call home. Currently, we are renting a property privately located in Semaphore Park. We have been living and caring for this home since November 2024. Prior to this we lived with family in their rental property located in Woodville North 5012. I currently pay $630 weekly towards rent and have always paid my bills on time, I am confident that my current property manager has given me a glowing review as I am an ideal tenant. I have been working casually at Creativ Minds as a Mentor earning roughly $800 fortnightly depending on availability while enjoying my role as a full-time parent. I have been actively job seeking to increase my current employment to part time. My son is due to start school in 2026; it is my intention to gain full time employment once I have increased availability. I worked full time previously at Community Nursing SA but stepped back into casual employment to focus on parenting, on occasion I receive shifts from them as I was a valued full-time employee and have built a strong foundation in the community services sector. When I return to working full time I am looking forward to working in a role that aligns perfectly with my values of dedication, compassion, and advocacy for people with disabilities. While working casually I am also receiving Centrelink with a single parenting payment allowance and family tax benefits. My payment from Centrelink is currently $1530 fortnightly, this income adjusts alongside my fortnightly working hours and can change if they increase therefore my primary income would become my salary. In my free time I enjoy reading and crocheting, I’m passionate about keeping a clean home and work diligently to maintain and safe, tidy environment. We are very conscientious people, and I understand the responsibilities of being a reliable tenant. As a single mother I take pride in our home environment and work hard to maintain a clean, safe place for Desmond to grow. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Warm Regards, Dedevi Agbali

Aviation nerd with a tarot deck seeks leafy sanctuary with good vibes and good humans. (Bonus points for pets!). I’m a full-time professional working in the aviation industry, looking for a quiet and respectful place to call home. I’m a woman and would prefer to live with other women or LGBTQ+ folk. In my downtime, I enjoy nature walks, beach trips, tarot, reading, movies, and the occasional spontaneous adventure. As a housemate, I’m clean, considerate, and easygoing. I mostly keep to myself, though I always appreciate a friendly chat or shared meal. I value mutual respect and open communication in a home. If there’s a sense of community in the house, that would be a lovely bonus. Looking to move in around November 2025. Preferably a 6 month lease as there’s potential for a move to Melbourne after this time.

Josselin
$500/week•33 year old man
Hi, I’m Josselin — a postdoctoral fellow in space law at the University of Adelaide. I’m considerate, clean, and easy to live with: quiet on weeknights, sociable over a coffee or shared meal. I work mostly on campus, run most days, and keep common areas neat. I’ll be joined soon by my dog Darcy. He’s calm, well-behaved and house-trained; I exercise him daily so he’s relaxed indoors. I follow building pet rules, won’t leave him unattended for long periods, and can provide references, vaccination records, and quarantine release paperwork. I’m looking for a 6–12 month stay in a respectful, drama-free home.
