Hi, I’m Lena! I’m 25 and from Cologne, Germany. I’ve just arrived in Australia two weeks ago and have been in Melbourne for about a week now, after spending four months travelling through Asia. Now I’m really looking forward to settling in, finding a cozy and friendly home, and diving into everything Melbourne has to offer. I’m easygoing, clean, and respectful – I’ve lived in sharehouses before and really value open communication, a calm atmosphere, and the feeling of actually living together, not just sharing space. I have lots of hobbies I’d love to keep up while I’m here – I enjoy cooking, music, crocheting, art, cycling, meditation, yoga, and even karate! I also love going out and having fun now and then – mostly sober, since I enjoy the vibe and people more than the drinks. My plan is to find a job in a café, restaurant, or bar soon and make the most of my time here – pursuing my passions, discovering the real Melbourne, and meeting amazing people along the way. Hello! I am a young working professional working in tech, and currently looking for a place to live as I am moving out of my current apartment. I have lived independently and been paying rent here in Melbs for 3-4 years at this point so very comfortable supporting myself and taking care of shared spaces! In my spare time I like to eat good food, cook new recipes, watch movies/shows, attempt to read, play games and get outside in the sun! Often I like to keep to myself but I’m always down to grab an occasional drink, have some house dinners or movie nights to hang out :)
