Looking for a fun new housemate to join us in Coburg! Currently there are two of us in the house and we're looking to get one more to join. The room available from the end of September and rent is $190 per week. We are in a fantastic location close to Batman train station (2 min walk) and Sydney Road trams (3 min walk), the supermarkets are less than a 2 minute drive down the road and there's a couple local farmers markets on the weekend. The local Coburg lake and Merri creek trail is a really nice place to go for a run and we are right next to the bike path into the city for those sporty types. Besides all the public transport we also have plenty of on street parking. We both currently work during the week so we're looking for someone who's social but also respectful. Most weeknights we'll chill out out and watch some next netflix or brew our next batch of kombucha. We do a housemate dinner every week and usually end up having a couple beers and playing some board games. We've also got the firepit set up and the bbq ready for a few summer days in the sun.
I am an international student doing postgraduate study in Melbourne uni. I am a clean, tidy, respectful and easygoing person who is willing to share the cleaning duties. Most of the time I am busy with my study and I like to watch movies and do workouts during my free time. I also join a choir and enjoy music a lot. I do respect privacy and personal space, but am willing to have a chat and a glass of wine!
The house is just a 3 minute walk off Bell Street, a 5 minute walking distance from Coburg Train Station as well 3-4 minutes from bus stops and 7-8 minutes to Sydney Road where the number 19 tram stops are. Woolworts, Coles, Dan Murphy's, Bunnings and quite a few other shops are all within a 5-6 minute walking distance. We have a giant back yard which has 2 sheds (we've turned one into our 2nd living room), an actual living room inside the house complete with a fireplace and joining dining room as well as a separate kitchen. The bathroom and the toilet are separate.
The best thing about my place is that the bedroom and bathroom downstairs are completely separate to the bed and bath upstairs which basically means you get the whole downstairs area to yourself. Upstairs is open planned so living, dining and kitchen are combined there's a massive glass sliding door which opens onto the balcony and let's the sun in.
Awesome location in Coburg. 5 mins walk to Batman or Coburg Stations, Tram, Coburg Lake and Park, Safeway, Coles and shops. Boot Factory cafe and The Glass Den on site for great coffee and food. Looking to replace flatmates who are sadly going o/s and hoping to find a chilled, self sufficient person or couple to take his place. Great location, gorgeous huge apartment, secure and lots of space. Big furnished bedroom, linen included (although welcome to bring your own) massive built in wardrobes and storage with drawers and heaps of hanging space. Built in desk area as well so great for students, light bright and airy with lovely city views. Set inside the old Pentridge Prison. We are 1 couple and 1 single and tend to keep pretty much to ourselves as we also have large rooms we hang in most of the time. Must like cats as we have 2 cute ones that live here as well. Share bills but works out at not much between 5 of us. AVAILABLE OCT 18TH short or long term accepted

Hi, I'm Sam, short for Samuel.... Nah it's Samantha haha I'm 28 years old, I'm a happy homer. Meaning I am a massive granny. I am always working and editing and making Art. I am a Photographer and Swimming Teacher. What I can offer... I come with everything some furniture, cooking appliances, plants and my green thumb and friendship and a call away to rescue you in any situation and I'll beat down anyone hurting my roomies. About me, I'm not home often because I go on several adventures and drives and do shoots. I work during the day and night shooting gigs. If I'm home I'll be editing and probably cooking. I'll always reach out and love to catch up and hang and have a tea. I don't mind pets or smokers, pets make everything so much better. I am looking for a place with some storage and built in wardrobes! Looking forward to hangs, good times and making a peaceful home to come to after a long day.
I'm from Brissy and have just been offered a new role in Melbourne and will be looking to move into a room for 6 months. I work fulltime in aviation and will be working in Tullamarine, so looking to base myself in easy distance to the airport. I am social, but also like to have my own down time and respect everybody's space. Love wine, cheese and coffee so will happily fill the kitchen with these goodies at any chance. I will often be flying to Brisbane to be with my partner, and every few weekends he will fly down to stay with me for two nights so we get to see each other, happy to discuss this with potential roomies.

Hello! I'm Flo, from Scotland and Michael is from Perth, W.A. We are looking for a fun and friendly new share house. We are vegan, ethically minded folk who have 3 adorable pet rats so our new home must be rattie friendly. We're happy, mindful, laid back, respectful people. Home is important to us and we are looking for a place to be proud of. Both of us have had plenty share-housing experience and understand the necessities of being a topnotch housemate. We love cleaning, sometimes we play rock paper scissors to see who gets to do the dishes, really. Also we are pretty dedicated dumpster dive masters so there's often plenty of savaged food up for grabs! I really like plants, gardening, music, and a good old chill sesh, Michael is a keen photographer, cyclist and d.i.y'er. Both of us enjoy cooking and spend a fair bit of time creating taste sensations in the kitchen, totally up for sharing meals now and again. We both work full time day jobs and enjoy getting out amongst nature for camping trips when we can. Feel free to send me a message if you would like to know anything more.
