Hi! I'm Tori, 29 and originally from England and making the big move to Melbourne this September. I'm moving over on a Skilled 190 visa and super excited to settle into a new home and city. I've lived in Melbourne back in 2017-18 while studying at Deakin Uni and have finally been able to make my way back over for a (hopefully) permanent move!
I'm looking to live with people who are up for creating a friendly, relaxed, and social home, not just a place to sleep. I'm always up for shared evening meals, post-work debriefs, city exploring, or the occasional wine or bar night (with a cheeky karaoke session if you're game!). I really value a good sense of humour, kindness and good communication. I’m clean and considerate, and always happy to contribute to keeping the space nice for everyone. I've lived in shared houses/with friends for the past 10 years ranging from larger 8 beds down to cosy 2 beds so I'm well versed in the sharing etiquette.
Back in England I have worked in the mental health/youth justice/victim advocacy sectors and am hoping to find similar work in Melbourne. Outside of work, I love music, theatre, and singing (with a lot of passion, if not perfect pitch!). I’ve recently gotten into pottery, and I’m always down for a good Netflix binge especially true crime series. I’d love to live in a home that’s LGBTQIA+ inclusive (non-negotiable), and with people who enjoy a balance of social time and personal space.
