I’m a proud disabled and neurodivergent composer and performer with degrees in music composition, and psychological and behavioural sciences. I’ve worked many jobs, but mainly as a piano teacher, barista and composer, and volunteered many hours to the Western Australian Charity Orchestra and Cat Haven. I’m heavily involved in the Perth community music scene and play percussion in concert band, brass band and orchestra. I enjoy spending my down time crocheting, reading, playing Switch, or visiting friends and family. Usually keep to myself most of the time but also love to find common interests if that feels natural :) What I’m looking for: Approx $300/week, preferably including bills 12+ month lease Somewhere central SOR (South Perth, Vic Park, Burswood, Rivervale, down to about Cannington) but I can be flexible with location. Parking bay Would like to have my own bathroom and I'm willing to pay a little extra for this. I value cleanliness and want the space to be a comfortable and welcoming home. I am ideally looking for a vegetarian or vegan household, however if good hygiene is practiced I can be flexible. Unfurnished preferred, but can make furnished work! I LOVE cats so if you have a cat that is a major plus in my eyes 🥰 What to expect when sharing with me: At the moment I’m at home most of the time during the day and have commitments around four nights a week. I’m on DSP and NDIS, and my goal once I’ve settled in a new place is to assess my capacity to sustainably return to part-time work or postgraduate study. My support workers visit three times a fortnight for a few hours at a time during weekdays. I practice percussion a couple of times a week, for 30-90min, and am happy to flexible around timing of this to suit whoever I am sharing with. I would like to feel comfortable having my partner stay over a couple of nights a week maximum, and I might also be out of the house around twice a week to balance it out.

Our budget is roughly $550/week, however there is some flexibility in this depending on inclusion/exclusion of bills, or whether the rental is a whole property/shared house etc. We are a clean, respectful, and quiet couple who would really look after any place that we stayed. We have also rented out our home in the UK to come here so we understand the concerns that come with having someone else living in your home. We both enjoy outdoors pursuits, as well as chilling out with some great food and a glass of wine. We are also very fond of animals, so if a place has pets then that's a bonus for us!
