Hi there! I'm moving up to Melbourne in the next month or so to study up at Deakin Uni in Burwood. I currently live in Bendigo (central vic) which is about 90 minutes away. I will be a full time student at Deakin, and will be travelling down to Bendigo every second weekend for work (at least until I get sick of doing that, then I'll get a job in Melbourne). I'm looking to live in a shared house with about 2 or 3 other people, and would prefer to live as close to the Burwood area as possible but I don't mind travelling if I find an awesome house. I love socialising & meeting new people, drinking lol, binge watching everything and I have a weird thing about ordering a chicken parma everywhere I eat. Ironically I also like (trying) to keep fit. Also sorry for the awkward photo. The only recent photos I have of me all feature an alcoholic bev in my hand or are a group pic so this photo will have to do. I am happy to live with people either studying or working :)

Hi there, My names Matt, a bit about me! I work full-time in a sales role in Burwood, that keeps me fairly busy Monday to Friday. I also play quite a bit of social sport, basketball, mixed netball and might be starting tennis up again soon! I like to keep active and get to the gym as much as I can. I also play a bit of acoustic guitar from time to time! I love my footy and am a big Hawks fan, so I get to the games most weekend. I am generally a very tidy and neat person who will look after my own stuff as well as help out with house chores. I am respectful of peoples privacy and like that to be returned. I also would like to be able to get along with the people I live with as well! I'm looking for a decent sized room to fit a queen sized bed and a bedside table or two! Preferably in a non-crowded home. Ideally I'd like to pay 170 a month or less but would look to pay more for the right room/house/housemates. I'd probably prefer a house that didn't smoke, do drugs or and wasn't going out every night of the week as I get up fairly early for work. I'm currently living in Sunbury and making the commute to Burwood every day, so I'm pretty keen to move someone as soon as possible! If you think we might get along and you have a room that would suit me, please don't hesitate to shoot me a message if you'd like to know more about me! :) Thanks Matt
Hey there, I'm Nadia. 20 this year and of mixed heritage from Malaysia. Will be in Melbourne in mid of June for further studies. I'm looking for a place to rent or a room in a house-shared with anyone or students from Deakin as well. I tend to be pretty shy at first but will blend in the more we chat. I love outdoor activities and will usually go out during the weekends or my spare time. Budget p/w: 150A$ and below Anyways, I hope I'll be in what I'm looking for if not that's also fine with me. - Tidy and clean environment - Outgoing and friendly house mates - If my mom can come over for hols visit (negotiatable) - It's fine with me if you smoke but not infront of me as my nose sometimes will get too sensitive or if you don't its fine as I don't smoke but vapes. (not an active vaper as before) - Doesn't mind having a meal tgt/up for a chat or maybe a day/night out. - Helpful in household things. - Does their individual chores. I hope we get along well if we're to be housemates or anything haha.
I am 25 years old female student from Indonesia with Chinese background. I have lived in Melbourne since 2009 (study and work full time), but decided to go back to Indonesia since October last year. Now I am back in Melbourne to study at Swinburne Uni and pursuing my dream as an Early Childhood educator. I'm clean, neat, tidy, and quiet person. Most of the time I'd like to keep myself in the room to catch on with books or series. But I don't mind hanging out to share meals or few drinks once I get to know you more. I do cook once in a while ( not too great but not too shabby either ). I like reading books, playing piano, and watching movies and series. I do like to travel at least once a year, as per say I do enjoy photography. Message me if you have any questions and a room to offer which is close to public transport and easy access to Swinburne Uni.
Hey guys! We're from India. We will be starting my Post Graduate studies at Deakin University from July, first week. We're Crazy, Funny & Adventurous. We like tidiness with a healthy surrounding . Hey! I'm Jay. I have a room for rent in my 3 bedroom house. My housemate Emily and I are looking for someone that's mature minded and easy going. The house is on a subdivided block. It's spacious and has a nice covered deck out the back. The bathroom is quite small but has a great shower. There is air-conditioning in the living room and central heating throughout the house. I will be looking at installing evaporative cooling, replacing the carpet in the bedrooms and painting outside in the future. I'm happy to consider furnishing the bedroom for rent but at this stage it is unfurnished. If the room is furnished then the rent will be $190 per week. The room dimensions are approximately 3m by 3m. I'm happy to install internet and tv points in the room. WiFi is included in the rent. The rest of the house is furnished.
Hi, I am a vet nurse and her pooch looking for a place to call home. Like my dog I'm a bit of a forever puppy, that being said I work hard and that includes longish hours 4 days a week. I'm 28 and live a pretty clean lifestyle. I'm not apposed to hanging out/a movie marathon with a glass of wine/beer or whatever, but also more than happy to entertain myself if you are more on the private side. My dog 5yo dog absolutely adores people, he is a big boy so that may not be everybody's cup of tea but he will do his utmost to make you fall in love with him (It's not hard), don't worry though he knows he's not a lap dog! I am very open minded and accepting and looking to share a home with like minded people. I'm looking at a longer term stay depending on how suitable the situation is. I am looking for a place to call home.

Hi, my name is Melissa and I am looking to move to Melbourne in the next couple of months as I will be relocating for work. I am clean, bubbly, nice and love to socialise. I am very easy going and very easy to get along with.
So it's time for me to move closer to work, as my long commute to the office each weekday has finally got on my nerves. As an active person that enjoys exploring Victoria I'm often out and about hiking or biking on weekends, but when I'm home and have the time I like learning to cook new meals (vegetarian is a specialty), spending time relaxing out in the backyard, watching a bit of TV or surfing the web. Being an engineer my work hours are generally 8.30am - 6pm on weekdays and I usually play basketball at least one night a week. Would be great to have a couple shared interests with my potential housemate/s, so give us a heads up as to what you enjoy doing in your spare time if you are to message me. I come house trained, so that means I clean up after myself (and often others), make time each day to complete the necessary chores, pay my bills early or on time and am more than happy to socialise when the time is appropriate. Would like to find a place that could accommodate a future pet, preferably a canine, but I am willing to wait a while for that, if I can find a suitable home and housemate to live with. Hope to hear from you soon
This property is in the lovely suburb of Box Hill South. It is within a 15 minute walk to Deakin University's Burwood campus and 5-10 minute walk from public transport. You will also be surrounded by plenty shopping options with supermarkets and restaurants. Your room will be the main bedroom, with plenty of storage space and room for furnishings. One thing that the Landlord has requested is that you are working at least part time.
We have a room coming available in the next few weeks in our all vegan household in Box Hill South. Close to bus routes tram routes and close to Box Hill station. Backed up against Box Hill golf course and a short walk from Gardiners Creek reserve where we've enjoyed many strolls and picnics. Its a very big and older house so being exceptionally proactive with cleaning is a must for us! We are a house of 4 including whoever moves in and we're looking for another vegan 😊 We are a social bunch who love to hang out and make lots of yummy vegan food and we're hoping to find someone who shares our love for everything communal and social! Preferably looking for someone who is wanting to stay long term. We're looking to find someone who is around our age group, also enjoys social gatherings, who knows how to keep a house clean and presentable and who generally just vibes with the other residents! :) If you are interested please message me with a blurb about yourself.
Hi, I'm Matt. I'm 28 and easy to get along with. Used to live by myself, so I'm self sufficient and clean. I can be social or keep to myself. Always pay my bills on time. I have a Border Collie named Archie, he is incredibly shy, looks after himself mostly and doesn't bark or get aggressive. I work fairly long hours. I am a sharing person. I like to cook. I follow most sports. Cheers.
