Hi, My name is Connor Blair, I 'm 21 years old and am currently studying to be a secondary teacher. I will be studying full time at Deakin University in Burwood and am looking for a place to live in the burwood surrounding area, however I have a car and am willing to travel for university. For the past 2 years i have lived with between 2-6 people at a time and have found it great living with others, I have lived with people from many different backgrounds (both local and international students from Australia, USA, Canada, France, Hong Kong and England). I have been told that I am very relaxed and easy to get a long with. I am flexible in terms of who I live with, am always up for a quality conversation or a few drinks but am happy to respect peoples privacy when they need it.
Hi! I`m KC, studying at Deakin Uni in Feb 2017. Staying in AU beginning 15th February. A little about myself : I'm an easy-going and reliable person that loves a good laugh and spending time with friends and family. Respectful of the privacy of others within the house. Love going for outdoor adventures, and listening to music. Housekeeping: Will usually clean up as I go. Non-smoker. Preferably housemates who are similar in these respects and appreciate a peaceful home to return to.
Hey I'm Rose - 19, quiet, clean, always friendly. I'm starting at Deakin Uni in Feb and am looking to rent with other females near the university. I'll be in Melbourne from Jan 28 so will be available to look at properties from this date onward.
Hi my name is Elise. I am currently working in hospitality and going back to study next year to finish my Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice. I am looking for a place closer to my current work and future University placement and job opportunities. I like an equal amount of quiet time and socialising. I am friendly, easy-going and hard-working. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
We are an easy going, quiet and considerate household. Our house has two living areas so there's plenty of space, and you have your own bathroom. The room we have to offer is medium size with a decent size built in robe. We can offer the room furnished or unfurnished. If you would like furnished we have a comfortable king single bed to offer and a desk. The house has a dishwasher, airconditioning, washing machine and dryer, internet access and a lovely backyard that backs onto a park behind. We have a verandah out the back that is great to hang out on and a porch at the front where we like to sit and chat. The house is walking distance to Deakin (1.1km), you can take really nice walk on the walking track to get there, and also on a nice quiet street. There are buses on Eley Rd and Station Street not too far away and there's the 75 tram on Burwood Highway. We have two cats who are both friendly and as much as we would love to have a whole house full of animals we cannot take any more pets (I think you could probably get away with a fish, turtle, lizard if that's your thing!).
Hey! My two friends and I are shifting to Melbourne from India. We are going to study in Deakin University and are currently on the lookout for apartments/houses for us. We will be in Melbourne by 14th Feb. Please connect with me if you have any listing that would suit us. All the best :D
Looking for a mature and friendly person to share half a house with one other flatmate. Family room has a beautiful outlook over the Gardiners Creek reserve and parkland and a large outdoor entertainment deck. House is unusual because it has two, completely separate living areas, making for flexible living arrangements. It offers a quiet and convenient lifestyle with direct access to parkland and bike tracks from the back of the block (a gate onto the park). You will be walking distance to Wattle Park, local shops, route 70 tram direct to the city, and buses to Box Hill Central. The kitchen is newly renovated, and there is also a large storage area downstairs. The main bathroom is spacious, with shower, full-size bath and separate toilet. The house has a water tank and solar panels on the roof, which means that electricity is cheap. It also has air-conditioning and ducted heating. There is off street parking for two cars. Bills and internet are split equally and are additional to the rent.

It would be great to move in with people who are familiar with Melbourne and could help me get used to the area, and show me a bit of the nightlife so I could start to meet more people. - starting a full time nursing degree at Deakin University - finding part time work - vegan - non-smoker
Hey guys, I'm Ronnie, currently studying law at Deakin and working part-time at a disability service provider. I'm an easy going guy and pull my own weight. I like being around people who like making the most of the time we're given. Looking for a rental place around Deakin or would be interested in teaming up with people to start a lease.
An oasis in the city. This is like living in the country in the middle of the city. Beautiful rambling garden setting with gum trees and Palm trees. Relaxed vibe. Would suit creatives, academics, artists who appreciate relaxed living. Spa bath and b-b-que for shared use. Public heated pool close by. Athletic park and Surrey dive 10 minutes walk to Box Hill Station. Bit like the Addams family house.but I've not found thing yet "-))

Hi i am Sarab. I'm from India. Will be joining Deakin University to study full time course from feb 2017. In search of a place near the uni only. Very friendly person, love to hang out with friends, like some privacy as well and also respect the privacy of others too.
So it's time for me to move closer to work, as my long commute to work each weekday has finally got on my nerves. As an active person that enjoys exploring Victoria I'm often out and about hiking or biking on weekends, but when I'm home and have the time I like learning to cook new meals (vegetarian is a specialty), spending time relaxing out in the backyard, watching a bit of TV or surfing the web. Being an engineer my work hours are generally 8.30am - 6pm on weekdays and I usually play basketball at least one night a week. Would be great to have a couple shared interests with my potential housemate/s, so give us a heads up as to what you enjoy doing in your spare time if you are to message me. I come house trained, so that means I clean up after myself (and often others), make time each day to complete the necessary chores, pay my bills early or on time and am more than happy to socialise when the time is appropriate. Would like to find a place that could accommodate a future pet, preferably a canine, but I am willing to wait a while for that, if I can find a suitable home and housemate to live with. Hope to hear from you soon
Great Vibes, with an awesome backyard space, and garden area (For those sneaky gardeners), the house is fully furnished with a washer and fridge (No Tv unfortunately). It is also only a 10 minute walk from Deakin University, so is perfect for those attending.
Large room for rent in Box Hill South for $170 per week. Bills not included. Room will be available from Monday the 30th of January. Room comes with a double bed, two side table and mirror - if you want to bring your own thats fine! Room has ceiling fan for those hot summer nights! House has aircon in the lounge room. House is fully furnished Close to public transport (about a 10 minute walk to Middlesborough Road and 15 to Station Street). About a 25 minute walk to Deakin University through the park. Landlord is looking for someone working at least part-time
Quiet, out going, loves to cook.. sings in free time.. giggles and travel. Less dramatic. focused on studies.. very clean and neat. I love to sing and also hang out with others, go for movies, eat outside. Gymaholic and fitness freak meaning concerned about health.. but no dieting :) Prospective RMIT student reading for Masters in Laboratory Medicine. Works part time at Crust Pizza Boxhill. I love to learn new languages. Looking forward to find a place with bills included that is a big room with furniture included such as cupboard or wardrobe built room, study desk, mirror, medium size bed, window, heater. :D Simply to say a room which would be ideal for a student. Will need a car space. I might prefer a 3 bedroom place too because I have two friends who would join me :)
I'm originally from the country and move to Melbourne to study full time. I'm about to start my second year of Exercise and Sport Science at Deakin Uni. I enjoy sports, being active and socialising with mates. I like a chat and some drinks but also enjoy my own time and I am respectful of others. I am tidy and clean up after myself and I always pay bills and rent on time.
Hi, I am a vet nurse and her pooch looking for a place to call home. Like my dog I'm a bit of a forever puppy, that being said I work hard and that includes longish hours 4 days a week. I'm 27 and live a pretty clean lifestyle apart from the cheeky cigarette at the end of the day. I'm not apposed to hanging out/a movie marathon with a glass of wine/beer or whatever, but also more than happy to entertain myself if you are more on the private side. My dog 4yo dog absolutely adores people, he is a big boy so that may not be everybody's cup of tea but he will do his utmost to make you fall in love with him (It's not hard), don't worry though he knows he's not a lap dog! I am very open minded and accepting and looking to share a home with like minded people. I'm looking at a 4 month minimum stay, but could definitely do a long term stay depending on how suitable the situation is. I am looking for a place to call home.
Moving to Melbourne for my Masters in Deakin Uni this November. Clean and Tidy is how I live and what i am looking for in a place. Fun loving and ready to hang out once in a while or in the weekends, but always respect privacy and hope for the same in return. would be more than happy to help out with the house chores. Don't have pets but do not mind having them around.

I am from Mumbai, India and I shall be pursuing MBA degree from Deakin University from February 2017. I enjoy playing & watching cricket and soccer. I am adventurous, outdoorsy and I have a habit of going on trips and treks at least once in a fortnight (solo and group). I love to experience new things and I am definitely not an introvert.
A full time teacher, I enjoy exercising, relaxing & enjoying company. Looking for someone with the same mind set, who is tidy & responsible. Happy to share a meal & have a chat & watch tv together a few times a week!
I'm posting this ad on behalf of my mother in law, Filomena. After a tumultuous year, she is back in VIC, having been living interstate since April. We are now trying to find her a place to call home while we organise a more permanent solution. Mena is 79, but feels 59! Apart from needing to walk with the aid of a stick, she is in good physical health. She is very sociable, loves a chat over coffee, and has always enjoyed the company of younger people. It will probably be months, rather than weeks, until we purchase somewhere for Mena to live, so we are looking for a home she can relax in and continue to enjoy her independence. We're hoping someone else out there is happy to have a bit of companionship and needs a spare room filled. The contact info provided is mine -feel free to get in touch for a chat. Rhianne
I'm an artist and knitter who works hospo full time. A bit of an introvert but quite relatable. Spend most of my spare time reading or making stuff. Don't really drink alcohol but like being around others that do. I'm clean, keep to myself mainly, and not much of a party animal. I moved to melbourne recently and am looking to settle in to a flat so would prefer to find a place thats long term ish (:
