Hi! We're two friends from Norway looking for an apartment in Brisbane, preferably close to St. Lucia. We're also open to sharing an apartment or house with other people. Lene (27), and I, Kali (29), will be studying at The University of Queensland for one semester starting this July. We're looking for a place where each person can have their own room, and we also prefer it to be furnished. For rent, our budget requires us to stay under $350 per week(approximately). We are also more flexible with the move-in date for now. A 5 month stay is preferable. Lene and I are at work here in Norway and are granted a stipend from our government for our studies in Australia. We're both also very much used to living with others, so respecting other people's boundaries and privacy, as well as keeping everything tidy comes easy to us:). In our free time we both enjoy going on walks and doing yoga, Lene loves exercising and watching movies, while I'm more into reading and creating art. Hey there! My partner Zane (he/him), our dog Flash, and myself (she/her) are looking for a friendly, fun, chill, mostly clean space we can call home for the next little while. We have heaps of rental experience (Flash included) and have had great experiences with sharehouses. We're both 25, from VIC, and moving north to study environmentally focused master's degrees at UQ until the end of 2026. So we'll be around for a little while. We're a pretty nature-centric trio, who love to surf, dive, fish, hike and explore. Love a little down time to get out the guitar or paints as well. Flash is a GSP X and is incredibly friendly, but can be a bit of a stage 5 clinger at times so looking for a house with some kind of backyard and some fellow dog lovers that he can feel safe with. He's fine with other dogs, and though he's never hunted a day in his life, his instincts prevent him befriending other species unfortunately. The 3 of us are currently van lifing up the coast for a couple months until we find a place so we are flexible on move in dates. Looking for around July though. I'm Sara. I've been living in FNQ for about 5 years during my postgrad studies. I've lived in Cairns for the past 3 years and nearing the end of my PhD in socio-environmental relations which has allowed me to do some incredible work in the Wet Tropics. As stunning of a place as Cairns is, I'm looking forward to being in a diverse city again and making the move to Brisbane. So I'm looking for: -a 5 month stay till the end of Nov/25 -a privet room or flat -ensuite or own bathroom -prefer uncarpeted -no pets (so sad, but unfortunately I'm allergic to cats and most dogs) I am a really tidy and organized person, and appreciate other's who can also maintain a clean space. Dinking and partying isn't my thing. Maintaining a healthy and balanced life is more my speed. That includes gyming, yoga, walks, the occasional run, climbing/bouldering, art exhibits, pottery, cafes and food, parks and reading, and just general chill vibes. Of course, my PhD takes up a lot of time, especially at this end stage, so I'll be writing and working lots. I am friendly, considerate, and kind. I enjoy socializing and meaningful convos, but also really enjoy solo time. Looking forward to this move and finding the right place :)
