Friendly & self-reliant, creative, into Yoga, visual Arts and Singing acapella. Work as Community Care Provider and Visual Artist. House-proud tidy, into gardening and home as a nurturing space. Drug-free, non-smoker. Lived local area for 20+yrs. Prefer to live near nature or semi-rural space.
I am a very clean and tidy person who appreciates my privacy and respects the privacy of others. I am not a party person and enjoy peace, quiet and harmony in my living space. Easy going and easy to get along with. Prefer fully self contained granny flat or a shared home with my own space. I work in the hospitality industry, relocating from the Gold Coast for a change of pace and I love cooking, reading, hiking, camping and various creative outlets.
The 3 bedroom + study house is on a 5 acre block - it's a beautiful rural setting. To the east there an uninterrupted ocean views from Byron Bay to Pottsville. Newly built deck to enjoy the views. The house is only 5mins from the M1 Pottsville interchange, 6mins to Pottsville Beach/Creek and 5mins from town (Pottsville). Newly renovated bathroom and kitchen. House features an open fireplace and 2 undercover parking areas (garage and car-port). Big veggie patch in the backyard (just needs some love). 1 furnished bedroom is available. This bedroom has built in wardrobe and ocean views. House is furnished with TV, lounge, dining table, washing machine and kitchen appliances. House is also connected to wireless NBN and is available for an additional $25 per/month.
I'm hoping to find a long-term home for at least a year; or longer, if all works out well. I definitely like calm and quiet in my home environment, although I do enjoy relating with people when it happens, and having thoughtful and thought-provoking conversations. But basically I'm quite self-contained, independent and enjoy being quiet. Re shared areas; I believe I'm a very considerate, aware and respectful sharer of space. I leave the most minimal footprint possible and clean up as immediately as possible after creating food in the kitchen. As far as my life style/interests are concerned: I'm a teacher who recently retired from working with Indigenous adolescents in central Australia for several years, and before that in Wilcannia and northern NSW. I'm now studying a three year Dru Yoga Teacher Training course; I attend two Dru yoga classes a week, one a private class in Mullum, and one in Byron. I'm a regular volunteer at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery in Ballina (one or two shifts a week) I have my own income. I'm a creative who delights in the aesthetic in all aspects of living. I'm a keen gardener and enjoy planting food, herbs and flowers. I love eating good food and cooking, particularly different ethnic foods. I eat a vegetarian diet, but I'm not rigid about it. I guess if I were asked to encapsulate what I love and believe in, one word would have to be *diversity* and one concept would have to be *unity in diversity*. I'm a traveller and a seeker and always will be. Suffice it to say I can wax lyrical about things I feel passionate about, and act upon them as well.
Three year old house, built in Pottsville because it doesn't flood. Close to town and transport services. Quiet neighbours, mostly older couples. Air-conditioning in all rooms. There is a cleaning roster the person moving in will be expected to join in on. It rotates jobs so it's not 'un-fair' to any of the flatmates. Some of the flatmates are shift-workers and others early morning workers, so a little respect for when people are sleeping is expected. Not a party house / No parties. But friends/ family are welcome to visit. Internet is really fast.
House is a stones throw from the creek and a quick walk/bikeride to some of Northern rivers most beautiful beaches. Amenities are all within walking distance and the bus stop is just at the end of the street. Double bedrooms with built ins and external access, choice of 3 bedrooms (there is also a spare for guests) Looking for two relaxed peaceful, healthy people to share with 2 females, 1 male and two ridiculously adorable well behaved dogs. Would love a fellow vegan! (this is a meat free house) Sorry no dogs :( Peaceful, respectful, tidy and sense of humor a must! Rooms are available now so flick me a message if you are interested :) Nicole

We are a hard working family who has been living off grid managing 100acs for the past 3yrs in rural nsw. we are looking for a change of lifestyle as the kids are growing older. Dad is an electrician, and skills in the building trade and permaculture and aquaponics and Mum is home-schooling the kids and has worked in hospitality in the past and is an artist. We are looking for a long-term rental as the eldest kid is autistic and requires stability. we also love to grow our own food and love our little silky chickens and our 2 outside pet dogs. we just recently lost 2 dogs 2 poison so are not considering rehoming our last 2 dogs at the present time. the dogs both are well trained and have a shock collar system that keeps them in a perimeter to stop them chasing wildlife.
I'm an active, social, hardworking, happy person. I study nursing and work hospitality so I'm busy most days and nights. I like to keep a clean house but I don't sweat the small stuff. I would love to find some chilled people to live with who are social and don't mind the odd drink or having friends over occasionally (not keen on a party house though). I'm currently staying with friends in Pottsville after living in Cooli for the last few years. I really like the area and would love to live in a house after so many years living in small units. I love dogs so if you have a dog that is a bonus :)
We are a quiet young couple who own our Black-Headed Caique (Parrot) Cleopatra 😊 We both work reliable jobs and have our own mode of transport, we are fun, motivated and clean.
I am a happy down to earth, friendly female with a well behaved, adorable staffy cross dog, Luna. I adore the beach and enjoy kseping fit and preparing healthy meals. I am clean and tidy, private and quiet. I love to explore and discover areas of natural beauty.
