Hey I'm Rose - 19, quiet, clean, always friendly. I'm starting at Deakin Uni in Feb and am looking to rent with other females near the university. I'll be in Melbourne from Jan 28 so will be available to look at properties from this date onward.
I'm 24 and currently employed full-time as a project engineer. I consider myself quite outgoing, easy to get along with, reliable and very sociable. I’m very neat and clean up after myself religiously. I have had experience living in share houses and on my own before so I am aware of what is expected. Besides working usual hours of 8am-5pm, in my spare time I love to play guitar, binge watch crappy TV shows and eat more than I probably should. I am usually out and about on weekends, but also enjoy the occasional night in. I would love to move into a place with social people of similar age who would be up for sharing a couple of meals or drinks with each other now and then. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
I am a down to earth person, clean and tidy. Respect privacy and expect the same. Work full time as well as study. I am not a nerd but have done MBA in Finance as well a Master of Accounting, finance and mathematics being my favorite subjects.
Hi! I'm studying a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. I'm looking for a share house with some chill people after living in student accommodation for three years. I'm hoping for people I can have a good time with, whether that means a few drinks or a quiet night on the couch. I'm quiet, clean, and easy-going. I do smoke, but I'm respectful about it, and NEVER inside or around people who are uncomfortable with it. My current lease is up on February 7, so a mid/late January move would be awesome, but the start of Feb works too :)
Hi, I'm Julie, coming to Melbourne from France in order to study Mechanical Engineering at Swinburne as an exchange student, and I would like to find somewhere to call home :) I will be studying at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus so I'm looking for a room near Lilydale or Alamein railway line, or tram line 16,70 or 75, or bus route 624 or even better within walking distance from the campus ! I'm 19 going 20 and I would like to find flatmates about the same age (let's say preferably from 18 to 25 but I'm not very rigid about it). I'm quiet but social and I would like to share time with my flatmates (share meals, enjoy movies, have a cup of tea ... :P) I'm considerate of people's privacy and I clean up after myself. I like to study in common spaces (living room, kitchen ...) so I can see people passing by while studying :P. I do not need a lot of personal space : a small room would do it for me. I do not smoke nor drink. Cheers !

I am looking for a ROOM either in a shared house or apartment with friendly, laid-back and tidy housemates but it would be highly considered if the place is furnished and close to Uni. Feel free to contact me and help me find a best and reasonable option. Cheers, Azam

I'm a fairly easygoing person and do my share of the work. I like to socialise with my housemates but also enjoy spending time by myself. I'm a nursing student at monash clayton and work part time in disability so i might disappear for a while, depending on my timetable. I enjoy playing games and have the pc/xbox one/ boardgames to prove it. I'm really not looking to move into a party house. the occasional party is fine, but I tend to work early mornings and late nights, so i need my sleep. I don't have any pets but would love to get one. Also, i'm looking for an unfurnished room of a decent size.
I will be moving from Adelaide to Melbourne in February this year. It would be great to move in with people who are familiar with Melbourne and could help me get used to the area, and show me a bit of the nightlife so I could start to meet more people. - starting a full time nursing degree at Deakin University - finding part time work - vegan - non-smoker
22 year old female, just finished uni and starting full time work in March. Currently working at Coles part time until then. I've lived both by myself and in sharehouses before so would like to think I know how it all works by now! Moving out of my current house as the lease is up in April and everyone is going off to do their own things. Happy to move before then if something comes up. I'm reliable and easy going, would like to think I'm easy to get along with :) not a fan of drama or bad vibes. Just looking for some cool people to live with that like to have a laugh without being a party house. Message me if you think I would suit your house or would like to know more :)

Hi i am Sarab. I'm from India. Will be joining Deakin University to study full time course from feb 2017. In search of a place near the uni only. Very friendly person, love to hang out with friends, like some privacy as well and also respect the privacy of others too.
So it's time for me to move closer to work, as my long commute to work each weekday has finally got on my nerves. As an active person that enjoys exploring Victoria I'm often out and about hiking or biking on weekends, but when I'm home and have the time I like learning to cook new meals (vegetarian is a specialty), spending time relaxing out in the backyard, watching a bit of TV or surfing the web. Being an engineer my work hours are generally 8.30am - 6pm on weekdays and I usually play basketball at least one night a week. Would be great to have a couple shared interests with my potential housemate/s, so give us a heads up as to what you enjoy doing in your spare time if you are to message me. I come house trained, so that means I clean up after myself (and often others), make time each day to complete the necessary chores, pay my bills early or on time and am more than happy to socialise when the time is appropriate. Would like to find a place that could accommodate a future pet, preferably a canine, but I am willing to wait a while for that, if I can find a suitable home and housemate to live with. Hope to hear from you soon
I will be attending Deakin University in Burwood, so looking for some lovely people to team up with! Hopefully some like minded students who like to hang out as well as have their own personal space and alone time! Would be great to find a 3 bedroom place we can all rent out! Preferably girls, but guys and couples welcome :)
Hi everyone my name is Elyse and I am a second year Public Relations student at Deakin Uni. Myself and my partner Oliver (who is moving up to Melbourne to find work) would love to find some like-minded housemates to share a place with! We are a neat, friendly couple who like hanging out with friends and meeting new people, but also don't mind relaxing quietly at home. We would love to hear from you if you think you've got the place for us!
Hi, I'm Indonesian. I just graduated from my high school and decided to study at Deakin College. I am more of an introvert, so then I prefer a quiet and relaxing environment. I'm not a party girl. J-pop lovers ^-^. Hahaha My free-time activities: making an origami, watching youtube or movie, listening music, etc.

Hello! We have one bedroom (can be fully furnished) available in our home. We have lived in this house for almost two years, and we like to think of it as a home rather than another share house. Our kitchen is fully equipped, we have two toilets and one shower, a good-sized backyard where we grow (or try to) some veggies, a dinning room, and a living room. Ideally, you'll like guinea pigs so you can get along with all the housemates. You'll be living with a post-graduate psychology student, an arts student, and an engineer. We are all pretty relaxed, friendly and have a good sense of humour, however, we are more strict when it comes to house duties and money matters. Our hose is located 3 minutes from the nearest tram stop, which is about a 9 min tram ride to Deakin. If you ride your bike, uni is about 20-25 minutes away, and there's also a bus stop near the tram stop. If you drive, we have plenty of on street parking. If you go to Deakin, you might be able to catch a lift with one of us if we're headed that way. Our deal breakers are very simple: don't be rude, don't be messy, don't be inconsiderate, and most importantly, don't hate on people based on their race or sexual preference. Needless to say, we're a gay friendly house, and we want someone who is too. You'll only be sharing with another three people which means we have a cleaning roster that actually works, so the house is kept pretty neat. Room won't last long, so be quick to get in touch with us. Due to our busy schedules, please text only. We'll get back to you quickly, we promise! Street Parking Unlimited Internet Access Fully furnished house 5 minute walk to 24hrs Coles and Kmart 2 minute walk to tram and bus stops Ducted aircon and heating Gay friendly Near Deakin University Burwood Room can be furnished if you want Lockable door Ducted airconditioning and heating
Unfurnished room, in fully furnished house, cats included. Available 5th February The House Spacious House on quiet street that is fully furnished -including Fridge, Washing Machine, Dryer, TV, DVD, Kitchen with all Appliances (Oven, Stove, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Blender, Bread Maker, Slow Cooker, Dehydrator). Room is unfurnished, with build in double wardrobe (4 doors) plenty of hanging space, able to accommodate a queen bed. Large kitchen with living room and dining area. There is a lovely backyard with a clothes line. Main living area and bedrooms are all floorboards, central heating. Transport/Location The closest Tram Stop is a ten minute walk away (Burwood Hwy/Blackburn Rd), 5 min walk to bus routes 736, 735, 703, 10 minute drive to Blackburn Station. Tram to Deakin University takes 10 minutes. Plenty of on street parking with no parking restrictions. Nearby is Burwood One- Aldi, Coles, K-Mart, Fruit Shop etc. You will... Enjoy having the occasional combined dinners, but meals/food etc would be typically be separate. Enjoy the occasional drink and generally be friendly and considerate to housemates, and respectful of everyone's privacy. You must be clean, I'm not as fussed as much about being tidy (there is a difference!) We would prefer to get another female in the house, as this has worked well for us in the past. Will consider males however. Money Stuff Rent is $740 per month, plus bills. Bond is $740, and 4 weeks’ notice must be given before moving out. Unlimited wi-fi* internet is included in rent, other bills (electricity, water, gas) is to be equally divided. *Internet to be used for general browsing, not heavy downloading, gaming etc. If this sounds like what you are looking for, please email me telling me a bit about yourself. If you have any questions, please contact me. No couples and no smokers sorry.

Hello, future flatmate(s)! Looking to turn your shared space into a cozy nest? This bird is happy to do the same. I'm a 27-year-old educator from the USA who's spent the last three years abroad doing a mixture of travel, volunteer work, and living in holistic communities, and I'm happy to settle down in Melbourne to complete a two year certificate in Rudolf Steiner Education. Life is a balance of work and play, and I'm a positive, social creature who enjoys active community life, as well as a healthy dose of personal time. I love nature, distance running, meditation, trying to play the ukulele, making friends, and sitting on the front (or back) porch. Breakfast is a religious experience for me. I am a vegetarian (and keen to be vegan if my housemates are as well!) who would like to share a sacred space with other mindful beings, so compost and recycling is a huge bonus! I'm respectful and clean, and I value honest, open communication :) I'd love a room with natural light, and I do need something furnished since I'm making an international move. If you think I'm a good match for your house, please reach out!
I'm very easy going, having lived in many mixed accommodation houses. I really enjoy people & all sorts of conversation, but most of the time I will be doing my own thing. I've done my fair share of travel & I'm into Sport, but mostly watching now that I'm 'getting' old... nb: NOT OLD, just heading there ;) I'm very fair minded, happy to do my share, but please don't ask me to build a deck or change over a hot water system... if I wanted to do these things I'd buy my own place!!!!!
