Hi there! I'm Ben, a 32-year-old pastry chef. I'm looking for an ensuite room or a self-contained studio. I've worked full-time as a chef/pastry chef in Victoria for 10 years, ensuring consistent rental payments. I have a quiet lifestyle ( go to work at 3:30 am) I am very easy-going and extremely clean and tidy. I don't smoke and come with my own car. On my days off, I enjoy baking at home and often share my fresh bread and pastries with neighbors or friends. If you have a space that sounds like a good fit, please reach out! Thanks so much, Ben

Hey! I’m Milo, originally from Adelaide and currently looking for a place in Melbourne before February, as I’ll be starting my Bachelor of Design and Business at Swinburne University. I’m easygoing, respectful, and tidy someone who values a relaxed but clean living environment. I currently work part-time as a personal care worker and also in retail, so I’m pretty good at balancing work, study, and downtime. In my free time, I enjoy the occasional workout, I'm a lover of music, watching movies, playing video games, and working on creative projects. I’m hoping to find a place with friendly flatmates who appreciate a chill and considerate vibe. Let me know if you think we’d be a good match I’d love to chat!

Osama
$250/week•27 year old man
My name is Osama. I’ve been living in Australia for over six years. I run my own businesses here and overseas, which gives me a stable income, and I sometimes take on side projects or gigs just for fun and variety. I also continue my psychology studies at Swinburne University from time to time — it’s an ongoing interest that I dip in and out of, though not my main focus. I live simply and travel light. For me, a home is more about the people in it than the things inside it. I don’t have a fixed location in mind as long as it’s within Melbourne and feels open, welcoming, and not like a cage. I really love animals — I enjoy seeing them in the wild or in big open spaces with other pets. That said, I prefer not to live with indoor pets, so I’ll admire them from a respectful distance and call myself the “weird guy” who loves animals best when they’re free. What I value most in a home is a calm and respectful atmosphere. I like living with people who are kind, mindful, and open to communication. I’m easygoing and considerate, clean in shared spaces, and a non-smoker. Socially, I enjoy balance — sometimes sharing a tea, meal, or movie, and other times enjoying quiet independence. Either way, I respect the rhythm of those I live with. I’m drawn to households that lean toward intentional or mindful living: open communication, simple routines, and the sense that home is a place of belonging, not just a roof. I’m not interested in dealing with agents, because I don’t see living as a business transaction. I’d rather share a space with people who value community and comfort over profit. NOTE: The first 3 months are just to make sure everyone’s happy — after that, my plan is to stay for years. My budget is flexible with bills, and I’m happy to add up to $50+ if there’s a good reason. I can also be flexible with the moving date if needed — anywhere between November and December works for me if that helps. That was me in a nutshell — if you think I’d be a good fit, please reach out. And if any questions come your way, ask away, I don’t bite :) Thank you.

Evşen
$300/week•32 year old woman
I’m Evşen (32), currently taking weekday language classes as preparation for my master’s degree, which I’ll begin in February. After classes, I work at a Greek restaurant on Lonsdale Street, usually finishing around 10 p.m. (I always make sure to come in quietly when I get home. I just change my clothes and go straight to bed.) When my master’s starts, I plan to continue working part-time, hopefully in my field. In my free time, I like to rest, keep things tidy, explore Melbourne, and work on my small YouTube channel where I share yoga sequences. I really value a balanced home — enjoying social time but also having space to do my own thing. I don’t smoke, and I only drink occasionally with friends. Please let me know if you have any questions — I’d be happy to share more about myself. Looking forward to hearing from you, Evşen
